How do we even KNOW Pokabu's personality has been copied, it's barely done anything yet...

People need to calm down about this whole "OMG ANOTHER FIRE/FIGHTING". It's getting old. Seriously Infernape was more of a copy of Blaziken than Emboar is of either.

Anyways, on topic. I don't see them playing too much on the abuse thing this time. I'm sure Pokabu's character fault will be overeating or something typical of a pig. Can we watch the show for a while and find out?

You know if you look at it from this perspective:

Charmander was abused because it was cruelly left and Damien had no plan to ever retrieve it, Chimchar's 'abuse' was a form of training. ie, it might not have been an isolated incident within Pauls roster, and Pokabu just got left,

: then maybe they are all different cases right? Sure, if you have to generalise, then yes, they are all cases of abuse, but if you examine, I reckon theyre actually pretty different.

Besides, as other posters have mentioned, the writers dont seem to hav any clear plans to expand on Pokabu being deserted.

Charmander's disobedience was simply because it evolved so early, Not because it was abandon. Torkoal's crying had nothing to do with the steel types. It was just a baby. And Pokabu doesn't remind me of either Torchic or Chimchar in personality.
