If you Surf to the left of Pacifidolg, you will fid an "island", the kind where it's still water but you can walk on it, yah, you know what i mean. anyway, there is a spot on this "island" where you can step, and be pushed sidways by a current-glitch. you walk, the water that isn't supposed to be there pushes you, hence calling it the ocean glitch. hope i helped!

what can you do at that ''oceaan glitch'' is it special?

if you can set up your gameboy a certain way with rubberbands, you can constantly go on and off of the glitch spot. if you have pokemon in the daycare, they grow quickly, and you don't have to do any work! yay! (I grew my octillery several levels with this, and then i got bored, so i started playing...!)

The whole point of the Ocean glitch is that it's a glitch. There's a tile on that route with its movement type set to land but still has the current pushing effect, so you can use the Mach Bike and run towards it, getting pushed back repeatedly.

The tile is positioned as in this picture:

It's approximately 3/4 of the way from Pacificdog Town to Slateport City on an island in the ocean current near the sealed chamber area. Stay towards the bottom to reach there and have a mach bike ready.

Overnight within a 7 hour period while in the daycare, my level 49 charmander went up to level 63 and my level 20 meowth went up to level 52. Works like a charm.

for me, the only problem i've ever had with the ocean glitch is people calling me, i let it sit for a few hours while i did some work, and when i came back, someone was calling me and i had no clue how long it had been like that! grrr! is there a way to keep people from calling you? this would make the glitch more reliable, until then, i'm not letting it sit overnight.

Use Ruby or Saphhire. The whole point of calls is to stop you from doing that.

Arriving glacially.
But it is really useful if u are trying to get a pickup pokemon to lvl 100 to find TMs like Earthquake and Rest.

In a 13 hour period, I had 2 level 5 teddiursas raise up to level 65 and they even made an egg. I'll be checking on the level 2 linoone and level 53 meowth soon from the other game.

No, it's not truly cheating, but you can train faster without the glitch. My Latios grew to Lv. 100 in 20 hours of gameplay, with EV training. I calculated at two steps per second with the glitch, I would've taken five full days, in the daycare, which is a lot more than 20 hours.

did you know that hoding back the evoluton is a bad thing and it ruin the amuont of natual stats the pokemon was actualy going to get i did this to a vigroth and boy did it make a bad difference in its hit and attack points and than i took it out of the day care and raised it one level and it was only 222 hit points and if i natualy let it evolve the pokemon would have over 300 hit points by now

There are times when it is strategical to hold back evolution for different purposes:

- meowth, teddiursa, phanpy would lose their pickup ability
- metang learns meteor mash at level 50
- charmander learning the useless fire spin at level 49 instead of level 64 as a charizard
- seedot can only learn explosion and lotad can only learn rain dance, etc...

Of course I would intend to evolve zigzagoon at some point.

This is a myth. The reason why your Slaking didn't get stas as high as it would have otherwise was because it didn't get any EVs since it was in the Daycare. If you trained it to that level without evolving, its stats would have been as high as expected.
