Three years ago she arrived on our screen's as nothing more than a representation for the games, however, her endearing crush towards Ash promptly propelled her into our hearts. There will never be a character like her; and i will be forever frustrated that her affections towards Ash never furthered. Oh my, this episode is definitely going to break me.

So this is it, the end of Serena's journey. I'm glad that she seems to be choosing to go on her own road, rather than with Palermo. This is something that I was wishing for her character and it seems that it will go this way.

They teased it quite a bit and often, even bringing it up in unrelated episodes like the Wulfric arc.

I'm sure they'll leave it open-ended, its not like when they flat out killed Pokeshipping off while Misty was still on the show.

Open-ended in these kind of situation is worse. Some fans would keep hoping that something will come out of it, someday. While we all know it meant nothing.

I don't think Anime series start that much ahead of games. November 10 is possible but anything before doesn't seem plausible.
