Wouldn't they usually say Satoshi-tachi as in Satoshi and the others? Kinda spicy. Could easily mean nothing of course and a past starter capture in a half of an episode seems extremely random but I'd honestly like Swampert more than any of the other Mons currently being speculated for Satoshi so hey if it's meant to be I'll take it regardless how they do it lol.

Ok here is my theory about the Half Marshtomp episode: Ash encounters Marshtomp stuck in the ground just chilling, Ash tries to get it out by having Pikachu use iron tail and it doesn’t work. He looks around finds a Ludicolo who agrees to help Ash get Marshtomp out by using a water move to soften the ground. Marshtomp is freed reunites with the other Marshtomp and Ludicolo and they have a dance. Just as Ash is about to leave it Marshtomp follows Ash and wants to go with him and then he catches it. We will see if it happens but I think it would be a missed opportunity to give Ash a stater that he never caught before.
