Funny that we got a description of an episode with paralels to movie 3 in the same week that Digimon announces Naoto Takenaka - M3 Entei's voice actor - as the narrator of Ghost Game.

I really don't get the issue here. Cynthia being reintroduced here allows for both her battle episode not having to be rushed and it will play on her interest in myths and stuff. Seems like a good time.

either way this episode isnt a filler which Im glad about, coz it still reintroduces Cynthia and her Garchomp

Not sure about Diantha but Cynthia most certainly would! Heck I'd love to see that

At least Cynthia makes sense in those regions given her in game counterpart appears in the Sinjoh ruins and Undella Town. Still it’s better to have characters appear outside of their debut region since it helps the world feel more alive
