Offensive Ninetales

Alfonc

D/P is almost here!!
I'm going to use an Offensive Ninetales.

This is what i'm going for:

Ninetales@Lum Berry
Timid/Modest nature
Ev's 252 Sp.Attack/Speed,6 HP

Hypnosis
Flamethrower
Faint Attack
Confuse Ray/Substitute/Hidden Power:Grass/Ice

Hidden Power:Grass/Ice is only an option if I get lucky.

Which Nature is better for an Offensive Ninetales:
Timid or Modest?

How comes people these days are creating loads of little threads, one for each Pokemon, instead of having one thread with their whole team on?

Good luck getting a decent HP though.

prophecy fulfilled
If you want an offencive Ninetales, use Houndoom

Use HP Grass if you can get it.

Well, if you wanted an offensive Ninetales, I'd go with Modest seeing how it gives you more Sp.At. but in my opinion, Ninetales is more of a special wall if you put it's ev's were you need to.

Ninetales is defenitely not a special wall. It takes 2 or 3 special hits, but not much more. Regice and Blissey are Special Walls/Sponges.

You could also use Sub+Sunny Day.
But I said COULD no do.

imo, a Fire Type isn't needed anyway. Just get a Pokemon with a Fire Move.

Blaziken is great cos it has an awesome Physical side, and it has the Stab on FB.
It is basically a counter for Skarm/Bliss.

Blaziken@ Leftovers
Naive Nature
