Offical Nickname Discussion thread

Since i'm a car fanatic, I liked nicknaming my Pokemon after real automobiles I happen to admire. These are my teams that I used.

X Team
Chesnaught: Levin (Toyota Corolla Levin AE86)
Talonflame: Tempest (Pontiac Tempest LeMans)
Gardevoir: Integra (Honda/Acura Integra)
Glaceon: Silvia (Nissan Silvia)
Roserade: Avalon (Toyota Avalon)
Lucario: Garret (Not a car, I nicknamed him after my middle name.)

Alpha Sapphire Team
Sceptile: Trueno (Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86)
Swellow: Prelude Si (Honda Prelude Si)
Gallade: McLaren (McLaren Automotive)
Latias: Celica (Toyota Celica)
Flygon: Esprit (Lotus Esprit)
Linoone: Atenza (Mazda Atenza)

My Moon team's nicknames are a bit mixed up, they are named after founders of car companies, one after a car, one from a movie, and a latin word.

Moon Team
Decidueye: Soichiro (The founder of Honda Motor Co.)
Lycanroc (Midnight Form): Takeo (The co-founder of Honda Motor Co.)
Hariyama: Ralph (From Disney's Wreck-It Ralph)
Mismagius: Lancer (Mitsubishi Lancer)
Lurantis: Carroll (Carroll Shelby)
Oricorio (Balie Style): Deesse (The Latin word for "goddess")

I'm running out of ideas of what themes and nicknames I should name for my Ultra Moon team, any options?

If I bother to put in a new member into my party I usually come up with a nickname, such as plantasaur for my ;003; 's or vulcan for my ;157; or beethoven for my ;441; or dendro (which is the first section of dendrobatidae [scientific name of the poison dart frog]) for my ;454; 's

I nicknamed my Pokemon after their design, origin, or whatever I can came up with. So I named my shiny lycanroc Swolla, after the old name of my city of birth Zwolle. Because the mascotte of the professional soccer club is a blue wolf.

Linda the alolan Dugtrio, is named after Linda de Mol, after the famous tv host. Because one of the heads look like her and mol means mole in Dutch.
But not al my nicknames are so thought out. So I named my greninja just shadow. Because he is a ninja

Perry the Spearow (after Perry Mason)
Reyes the Hoothoot (after a X Files character)

I always like to give my team members names focusing in countries, capital cities, or Japanese words.

I'll always remember my swampert, Amsterdam, and my crobat, Warsaw. Good times.

Anyone have any suggestions?
Normally I name all my Pokémon from my Kanto team after Natural Disaters (Blastoise-Tidalwave, Pidgeot-Tornado,Arcanine-Wildfire,etc.)

Though lately I’ve been leaning on getting Let’s Go Eevee version instead of Pikachu, and since it won’t evolve I’m having a hard time coming up with a name that fits both it and the teams theme. (Usually I evolve it into a Jolteon and name it Aftershock or Shockblast or something)

Theme team: Pokemon named after characters from Paramount/Famous Studios cartoons:

Herman the Pikachu
Katnip the Meowth
Casper the Misdreavous
Huey the Ducklett
Tommy the Torkoal
Moe the Buneary

Famous Studios' characters, aside from Casper, are really underrated. These characters now belong to DreamWorks Animation, a unit of Universal (whose partner Legendary is working on the Detective Pikachu movie).

Perhaps something that could link eevee to the concepts of "error catastrophe" or "mutational meltdown"? Those ideas have to do with mutations in populations that can ultimately lead to a species' extinction. "Meltdown" could also be a reference to that as well as an association to nuclear meltdowns & mutations.

Thanks for the suggestion, I was thinking something to do with mutations too. Meltdown is a cool one, especially if it eventually ends up a Flareon once its banked and traded.
"Mutateon" maybe to fit with its "eon" naming theme?
Maybe something that has to do with nature or the world in general can still sound cool if its paired with the others.

Theme Team: Loud Family Pets (The Loud House)

Walt the Pidgeotto
Cliff the Meowth
Geo the Dedenne
Fangs the Golbat
Hops the Politoed
Charles the Herdier

The Loud House is probably the best thing Nickelodeon has ever done. This cartoon basically translates Family Guy/South Park-styled humor into a kid-friendly setting.

EDIT:

Another Theme Team: Pokemon Named After the Big Six Movie Studios

Paramount the Gogoat (in reference to the fact that goats can be found in mountains, which forms the basis for Paramount's logo)
Warner the Bastiodon (referring to the shields of Bastiodon and WB's logo)
20th the Ninetales (Ninetales is a fox, alluding to 20th Century Fox)
Columbia the Jynx (a woman is in Columbia's logo)
Disney the Pikachu (referring to the fact that Disney's mascot is Mickey Mouse, who is a mouse, like Pikachu)
Universal the Groudon (Groudon represents the Earth, alluding to the globe logo of Universal)

EDIT 2:

Charlotte's Web Team Rotation:

Female Trainer Name: Fern

Charlotte the Ariados (F)
Wilbur the Tepig (M)
Templeton the Raticate (M)
Samuel the Mareep (M)
Gussy the Swanna (F)
Golly the Swanna (M)
Bitsy the Miltank
Betsy the Miltank
Ike the Rapidash (M)
Brooks the Murkrow (M)
Elwyn the Murkrow (M)
Uncle the Emboar (M)

All of these names derive from the 2006 movie.

Been reading a lot of books lately, so a few of my Pokémon that have recently joined have names that reference novels.

Umbreon ("Van Adiel", a slight re-arrangement of "Vana'diel", the world in Final Fantasy XI, and where a perpetual struggle between Light and Darkness takes place...y'know, like every Final Fantasy game)
Flygon ("Serenity", it is shiny and hatched while I was watching Firefly)
Porygon2 ("Alice Dubya", I wanted to name it something technical, especially related to grad school which I recently finished, so I named it thus because I recently acquired my L.S.W.- my license to practice social work)
Alolan Ninetales ("Laam Zai", which if I'm not terribly mistaken, is supposed to mean "Blue Boy" in Chinese. Named after the book Blue Boy, about a queer Indian boy who secretly likes to wear makeup. Wanted to reference his color and Fairy-typing, and call attention to the fact most Ninetales are female)
Blastoise ("Corry", the nickname for The Corinthian gym in The Swimming Pool Library)
Vileplume ("Olamina", the last name of a character from Octavia Butler's Parable of the Sower. This character founds a religion called "Earthseed" and preaches it in a community called "Acorn")

Captain Jigglypuff

Leader of Jigglypuff Army
I nickname Pokémon all the time. My favorites are Cassandra the Absol, Missing Keys the Klefki, F (for Furious) George the Manley/Primape, Mia the Fearow, Xerox the Ditto, Marjory the Garbodor (Fraggle Rock reference), Calle Marie the Malamar, Miss Fame the Torchic, Ambush the Shiny Durant that literally ambushed me, Grape Ice the Shiny Vanilluxe, and Pincushion the Cacnea.
