Offical sending games into Nintendo thread

I am making this thread because i am sick of people making threads about this so now they can put all there questions in one place.

You can only send your games into Nintendo if you live in the UK or Holland from what i belive.That means not the US and not Hong Kong and not the artic circle.

I would recommend not sending a game that has been sharked because i dont think that they will put anything on the game. Also a game with cloned pokemon will be allowed because just because it is cloned does not mean it is not legit.

Also before you send your game activate the mystery event.
Ruby/Saphire:
Beat the Petalburg Gym and go to the Petalburg City Pokemon Center, and talk to the man in black by the PC. He will ask for your "Trainer Profile." Enter the phrase "MYSTERY EVENT IS EXCITING"

Fire red/Leaf green and Emerald:
Go to a PokeMart and look at the counter. There should be a pice paper on the table. Press A at it and then complete the survey with the words "LINK TOGETHER WITH ALL".

The games you can send in and tickets and pokemon you can recive are:
Ruby-Eon ticket & Jirachi
Saphire-Eon ticket & Jirachi
Fire red-Aurora ticket
Leaf green-Aurora ticket
Emerald-Eon & Aurora ticket

The Eon ticket takes you to Southern island and catch the either Latias or Latios depending on your version.

The Aurora ticket takes you to Birth island where you can catch deoxys.

Also if you send in a Ruby or Saphire with an unfixed berry glitch you will get it fixed and also get a shiny Zigazoon holding a leichi berry.

This is the e-mail you get from Nintendo after you e-mail them about sending them the game.

Hi,

If the game (Ruby, Leaf Green, Fire Red, Sapphire, Emerald) is sent to
the Nintendo Service Center (address below) we can download an Eon and
Aurora ticket for you. Unfortunately we cannot help you with any other
tickets or Pokemon.

When sending the games put them in bubblewrap to protect them.Do not send it in tissue paper because the bits could get inside the game and mess it up.

Your games should arrive 1 to 2 weeks later with the tickets.Happy catching.

Great thread.
When you send it i am guessing you should use recorded dilvery and send it in a envelope with bubble wrap. How much would that cost?

recorded delivery would be different costs wherever you live. check with your local post office

This information has been around for about 6 months (some even had this info around the time of the deoxys event). It has just now become a popular topic... hopefully people will start paying attention to one topic though. Too bad the U.S.A. doesn't have something like this... I would love to get Deoxys. I have all but celebi and deoxys and will soon have an eon ticket e-card sent to me to try for shiny lati@s.

Also I can tell you they'll take games from Ireland as that is where I am from.
I also recieved a few pms about it awhile ago most were from English players but I did get one from a french person so I'd include that aswell but really from what I know they take carts from anywhere in Europe.

When doing this myself I phoned them for confirmation so maybe add full details from their site which are:

And lastly not sure about everyone else but nintendo paid for a courier service to deliver my game just incase people are worried about security of their games returning.

AS I previously put..... the information is already known... people have known about this and Have been sending in their cartridges since more than 6 monthes ago.... so yes people have sent their carts in and gotten the tickets. But this news is so old. they've been doing it ever since the tour of europe (where they initially did the deoxys download) ended which if i'm not mistaken was closer to a year ago.

sorry for going off topic but apparently in 2 months time you can send your games in and get the mystic ticket,
but i don't know what games only that it's in january

Do you have to email Nintendo?? I forgot to do it before I sent the game at least I remembered to put a return adress in the envelope, with a stamp, and remembered put the game in (but that's all)

Mmm... so this is a Europe only thing, if we're in the US no luck? :/ Kinda sad... since the only way I'd ever be able to get any of those is head to new york, and I'll never get a mew since I missed the Toy's R' Us event. ~.~;;
