I've seen this in every game forum but FR/LG! Lets make one already!
You probably already know what this is, if you dont its basicilly picking only on type of poekmon and only using it throughout the whole game.
When you beat the elite four with your rival's starter at lv75, congrats you beat it! Post your progress here. If you have any questions just ask.
Oh btw a mod said its ok to post this. Here are the rules more indepth:
You play through either FireRed or Leaf Green using pokemon of only one type (including Duel types who must share the chosen type)
If your chosen starter is not of the type you picked, you are forbidden to use it, only using until you encounter a pokemon of your chosen type.
No matter how stuck you get you must not use any other types.
You are allowed to use only ONE set of TMs.
You cannot trade between versions. As with TMs, you cannot trade a pokemon from FR/LG over. Trading for evolution is allowed (Machamp, Alakazam, Kingdra, Porygon2)
You may trade between FR/LG games, so long as you do so, when you reach the place said pokemon would naturally appear (ie, Meowth/Weedle on their specific routes.)
After you pass certain events or feel the need to update, you reply to the topic with details on how your progress is going, the status of your team, how hard it is, etc.
Ghost and Dragon teams are not accepted due to lack of pokemon
In the case of a Flying team, you are allowed ONE Legendary Bird OR Dragonite.
No legendaries except the one exception mentioned above.
The challenge is considered complete upon the reaching, and defeat of Gary, for the second time in the elite four.
Oh and, if the pokemon you have right now thats not that monotype and it evolves into it after, you can use it. Ex: If you have a flying team, you can use charmander/charmeleon because it evolves into charizard which is a fire/flying type.
