• Hi all
Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.

The best nature for Mewtwo is Timid, while Mew has many options. Take a look here for some useful ideas.

All right then. I've already seen it. Finding a Mewtwo with the Timid Nature and have the Relatively superior/outstanding overall is going to be tough, isn't it? Thank you for your help.

BTW, a Jolly nature reduces Special Attack. Use 252 Attack EVs instead of Special Attack.

Hello again. I like to have some advice. If I plan to ev/iv train a pokemon and reach it 204 HP/ 52 SpA/ 252 Spe in the fast method effectively, should I give it 10 HP Ups, 5 Calciums, and 10 Carbos, and then battle several Audino(s), battle a couple of Litwick/Elgyem, and battle lots of Basculin/Swanna? Or do I have to keep battling these certain pokemon without giving them vitamins to the very end. One thing for sure is that I won't be using Rare Candy. I still have a macho brace and a couple of Exp. Share things.

If your Pokemon is currently untouched (no EVs) you have the correct idea. Each use of a Vitamin adds 10 EVs so 10 HP ups, 5 Calciums and 10 Carbos would give you 100 HP/50 SpA/100 Spe. Then you'd only have to defeat 2 Litwicks (or 1 with the macho brace). Then attach the macho brace the Pokemon and beat 104/4=26 Audinos (or Stunfisk) to get to 204 HP EVs. Then for the Spe you'd need to beat 152/4=38 Basculins.

P.S. It doesn't matter if you use Rare Candy. In Gen 5 Pokemon can still gain EVs at Lv. 100 so you could Rare Candy your Pokemon to Lv. 100 and then EV train it.

can someone tell me how to make a pokemon so its flawless,i know you can pass down a stat breeding but what if you want to pass more than 1

It helps to have 2 flawless parents so 3 flawless stats are garunteed(?). Thats the best you can do and the other 3 are going to be random. It also helps if you take up rnging

ok well rng looks abit too complex for me so i would be happy breeding 3 flawless stats over and hoping for the best on the other 3,adds abit more life to the game.i just need a flawless ditto..........

There's plenty of guides on the web, and there's one on the main site, underneath the Game Mechanics section.

I think this is right thread, but i have a question concerning my Gyrados's HP stat on my white version:

My Gyrados is LV. 61 with a lonely nature.
But here's the issue (not that it's really such a bad thing):

About a 1/4th of the way into my Gyrados's experience bar after he's just leveled up, I'll send him out and realize he's gained an extra 1 HP stat point. Does anyone know what's going on? I suspect that it's all the Mienshao I keep fighting on Route 14.

Right im abit confused and need abit of advice.I have a flawless ditto so I know whatever I breed with it will pass down 3 IVs.if I wanted to pass down say atk IV would I just give ditto or the other pokemon the power brace? Also would that then pass down 4 IVs?
also would the other pkmn I use pass the ability down and nature?

When breeding, 3 IVs can come from the parents, not necessarily just one. If you gave it a Power Brace, it'll always pass down the Attack IV, but not necessarily anything else. Without an Everstone, the nature will be random. The ability will always be essentially random unless the Pokemon only gets one.

Thanks and also when you go to battle subway and a pokemon has a flawless stat it says "its attack is also good" " its speed is also good " and so on but can the man in the subway tell if the pokemon has any flawless stats at level 1

Yeah, he can tell IVs at any level.
