I plan on using Skarmory now
Moveset:
Spikes
Fly
???
???

Skarmory covers most of the weaknesses

Dragoniteftw

SWAGONITE
in-game team

Think I have finally finished choosing my team and moves

:497: Serperior @ Leftovers (random)
- Leaf blade
- aqua tail
- outrage
- Coil

:530: Excadrill @ (Adamant)
- earthquake
- x scissor
- rock slide
- iron head

:555: Darmanitan @ Life orb (Adamant)
sheer force
- Rock slide
- Flare blitz
- Fire punch
- Superpower

Earthquake unnecessary as flygon and excadrill on the team. I know two fire moves isn't best coverage but this isn't competitive and I may not want damage from fire blitz all the time and they both get boost from sheer force.

;134; Vaporeon (Modest)
- Surf
- hydro pump
- Ice beam
- Toxic

again don't care about two water moves just like having a stronger and weaker STAB move on some pokes. Dealwithit.jpg

;359; Absol @ scope lens (jolly)
super luck
- swords dance
- megahorn
- night slash
- psycho cut

;330; Flygon @ leftovers (jolly)
- Thunderpunch
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- Fly (purely for story use)

Hmm. Is there somewhere one can find out which route apear in order, in Pokemon Black/White 2?? Strategically planning out a team sounds great. For now, the only Pokmon I know of that I will have for certain Samurott. It'd be great to know when I can get what pokemon so I can prepare!

This will be my team for when Black 2 comes out in the UK

;448; Lucario @???
Steadfast Or Inner Focus

Swords Dance
Extremespeed
Close Combat
Ice Punch/Thunderpunch/Aura Sphere

I have never used a Lucario before, but it looks like a really good Pokemon. This will be a physical Lucario, but I might have Aura Sphere on it because it has a lot of PP and never misses, and runs off Lucario's excellent Sp Attack. The abilities aren't important.

:553: Krookodile @???
Moxie

Earthquake
Outrage
Crunch/Foul Play
Aqua Tail/Superpower

Krookodile looks like a good Pokemon, but it means I will have only Lucario until I get to Route 4, but I think I might also temporarily use Oshawott. Moxie is a very good ability, but Intimidate could be useful too.

:593: Jellicent @Leftovers
Water Absorb

Surf/Water Spout
Hex/Shadow Ball
Will O Wisp
???

Jellicent is a very good Special Tank, and will o wisp is good for crippling physical Pokemon. Hex can be used after Will o Wisp for double damage, but I might just use Shadow ball instead.

:596: Galvantula @???
Compoundeyes

Thunder
Signal Beam
Thunder Wave
Electro Ball/Bounce

Galvantula is a fast and powerful Pokemon, and with Compoundeyes Thunder has 91 Accuracy. In the 4th slot I might use Bounce for coverage or a more accurate electric move like Electro Ball.

;465; Tangrowth @???
Chlorophyll or Leaf Guard

Sleep Powder
Giga Drain
Power Whip
Ancientpower/Aerial Ace/Hidden Power/Rock Slide

Tangrowth has very good stats, and it is useful with Sleep Powder. Giga drain is for when tangrowth wants to heal, and Power whip is a more powerful attack for it. The 4th moveslot is for coverage, hopefully I can get a good hidden power for it.

Help is Appreciated

So I posted a while ago what I wanted my team to be for Black 2, but then I realized most of the pokemon on that team I had already used in different games and I wanted to change it up. So here is :D

Krookadile: :553:
EQ
Rockslide
Crunch
Outrage

Sunflora (Don't judge): ;192;
Energy Ball
Earth Power
???
???
(I need help with this moveset)

Azumerill (with Huge Power): ;184;
Waterfall
Ice Punch
Superpower/Brick Break
Aquatail/Dig

Arcanine: ;059;
Fire Fang
Thunder Fang
Extreme Speed
Crunch?

Aggron: ;306;
Double Edge
Rockslide
Brick Break
Ice Punch

I want to Replace Either Arcanine, Azumerill, or Sunflora for one of the starters in this generation, I don't know which one yet so i need help with that :/ Also if you have any other suggestions, like replacing pokemon or moves, that be awesome.
Thanks People :D

You are better off teaching arcanine flamethrower/fire blast over fire fangb ut if you want an all physical set then flare blitz i definitely recommend. My personal set I would use if I raised Arcanine in this game woulda been: flamethrower, wild charge, extreme speed, crunch/outrage

No point of having two physical water moves on azumarill as personally i think waterfall is better for it anyway but you'd have aqua tail for awhile before you get waterfall which is in victory road. give it surf and make it your surfer.

As far as replacing a pokemon, I would definitely replace sunflora. There isnt very much you can do with it as its main moves are giga drain/energy ball/leaf storm and earth power. I guess you could hope for a good hidden power on it but if I were to give it a fourth move I would give it grasswhistle for sleep-inducing or sunny day for speed increasing assuming you have chlorophyll. I would replace it with serperior as you could do more with it plus its faster and more defensive. i am no fan of serperior but it does have potential. give it either a coil set: coil, leaf blade, aqua tail, outrage/leech seed or a calm mind set: calm mind, giga drain, dragon pulse, leech seed/hidden power( anything but poison, steel, grass, dark, ghost,or psychic) I personally don't like azumarill but if you're gonna replace only one then my top choice for that would be sunflora.

Thanks man I was leaning toward replacing Sunfloroa for Serperior anyway.

What water type would you recommend over azumarill?

apras is a fantastic dragon killer, but a big hard to get. starmie is an insanely fast sweeper, and it will help you against marshall. golduck is pretty good too, a special attacker with decent stats. you could also do jellicent, a water ghost type that is pretty bulky and can still hit somewhat well. in short, you have a lot of options.

Speed plus Sp. Atk made starmie seem like a good choice for helping with coverage. I plan on using a samurott until I can catch a starmie/staryu

;448; Lucario
-Swords Dance
-Extreme speed
-Close combat
-Ice punch

Seems like a fun pokemon to use + powerhouse with a priority move

;330; Flygon
-Outrage
-Earthquake
-Thunder punch
-Fly

Never really used a dragon in game and flygon can be caught (as trapinch) fairly early, I think. Also will be in game flyer.

;197; Umbreon
Careful
-Curse
-Payback
-Toxic
-Protect

Favorite pokemon, and curse+payback while toxic stalling might be able to work in game

;336; Seviper
-Sludge bomb
-giga drain
-Flamethrower
-Dark pulse

Never used Seviper and he offers some good coverage, if anyone can recommend a better set, I'm open to ideas.

:587: Emolga
-Thunderbolt
-Acrobatics
-Volt switch
-Return

Looking for a 6th pokemon and i've always wondered about emolga o_O

Looking for some recommendations about moves/new team members, especially regarding 6th member (emolga). Also I don't plan on breeding for egg moves

Also, I see for obvious reasons that Umbreon is usually a wall. I wanted to use it (and all my team members) for offense, and maybe let other pokemon like Carracosta and Aggron be the ones to act more defensive (but I still definitely want to use them for offense). Does that seem like a problem? I didn't really plan on having a variety of battle types on my team (in terms of who's offense/defense/wall/staller/status/etc./whatever-else-I-don't-know-about).

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I was thinking about giving Umbreon payback, since his speed is kind of slow and then maybe I just won't really EV train his speed so that in more serious battles, he'll attack second anyways...? Not sure if I'm going to give him Dark Pulse or Foul Play, either, since I was going to give him a Psychic move, maybe a ghost move, and possibly giga impact. Might not give him Giga though for the sake of a move with STAB...

Umbreon
Brave Nature
~Curse
~Payback
~Return
~Iron Tail / Toxic

Obviously, don't give it any Speed EV.

Rock Slide and Steel Wing for the last 2 moves.

Fire Punch instead of Thunderpunch.

Aqua Tail/Superpower

Krookodile looks like a good Pokemon, but it means I will have only Lucario until I get to Route 4, but I think I might also temporarily use Oshawott. Moxie is a very good ability, but Intimidate could be useful too.

Crunch for the third move (Foul Play is unreliable as it heavily relies on the foe's Attack stat)
Aqua Tail for the fourth move (you already have STAB EQ, and Ground shares basically the same coverage as Fight, so Superpower isn't needed)

:596: Galvantula @???
Compoundeyes

Thunder
Signal Beam
Thunder Wave
Electro Ball/Bounce

Galvantula is a fast and powerful Pokemon, and with Compoundeyes Thunder has 91 Accuracy. In the 4th slot I might use Bounce for coverage or a more accurate electric move like Electro Ball.

Bug Buzz over Signal Beam, and Energy Ball/Giga Drain for the last move, or over Thunder Wave.

Might as well just give it Power Whip, Rock Slide, Earthquake, and a filler move.

Fire Punch instead of Thunderpunch.

Trapinch is in Desert Resort, so yeah it is quite early, it's before the 4th Gym.

oh, in that case you can go with either of them. Night Slash if you're okay with breeding, X-Scissor if you don't want to breed.

Either one is fine, because Rock + Ground already fills the role of coverage moves, while Outrage is the STAB. So all that's left is a filler move.

I'm perfectly OK with breeding, it's just that breeding is post-E4 in W2, and I already have two teammates with Shadow Ball, so X-Scissor it is. Thanks!

Edit: Might as well repost my full team. Not sure if that's OK or not, but w/e...

Delcatty/Golduck/Azumarill/something that'll complement my team

Not sure about Delcatty, it's really just taking up space because there's better options and I'll need a waterfaller anyways, plus I wanted to use Azumarill in the first place, so I'm leaning towards him. Advice/feedback'd be nice.

Should sleep powder be the filler move? and I already have Krookodile using earthquake, plus you can't get the tm until post game.

You're pretty Rock-weak and mostly physical/mixed. I suggest a special-based, ground, fighting or steel type like Nidoking, Lucario or Magnezone.

"That one guy"
I actually planned out my team in White, and it ended up pretty good. The levels are around 71-76 now. Anyhoo...
Keeping one move slot open because I'm not sure what TM availability is like in this game yet.
Serperior
Because Snivy. I'm not sure why, but I'm going with a grass type starter again this time around.
Giga Drain
Growth
Leaf Blade
???
Amphros
Always liked this pokemon since Silver. I'm pretty excited to have it back early in the game.
Thunder
Signal Beam
Thunder Wave
???
Espeon
I'm not so sure on this one, and tell me if you can get Shadow Ball and Hyper Beam before the Elite 4.
Phychic
Shadow Ball
Hyper Beam
???
Braviary
Braviary are pretty cool, and this one adds that much needed Flyer on the team.
Fly
Strength
Aerial Ace
???
Bisharp
Always been kinda cool, and I guess A dark/Steel type could be helpful later on.
Night Slash
Iron Head
Metal Burst
???
Keldeo
I'm not sure if IN GAME means in the game (no trading) or not competitive.
Still, I need a surfer and he came to mind with the recent event.
Surf
Secret Sword
Aqua Jet
???

Thats if you want to keep serperior mixed. You could go physical though

Leaf blade
coil
outrage
aqua tail

Thunderbolt more reliable
Signal Beam
Thunder Wave
Focus blast

Espeon

Phychic
Shadow Ball
Morning sun
Calm mind

Calm mind to raise sp.atck morning sun to heal. Both normal learn set

Braviary
Braviary are pretty cool, and this one adds that much needed Flyer on the team.
Fly
Strength
Brave bird
Superpower

I assume you want to keep strength and fly for story mode?

Bisharp
Always been kinda cool, and I guess A dark/Steel type could be helpful later on.
Night Slash
Iron Head
Psycho cut/aerial ace
X-Scissor/stone edge/rock polish/sword dance

Psycho cut or aerial ace to deal with fighting types, x-scissor or stone edge for some more coverage. Alternatively some stat boosting moves are available. I wouldn't recommend using bisharp I tried him on my first play through of white and his typing is 4x weak against fighting which is a massive pain. But its not a bad choice either.

Keldeo

Still, I need a surfer and he came to mind with the recent event.
Surf
Secret Sword
Focus Blast/icy wind
Calm Mind

Special attack boost and STAB moves

changes in Bold - these are just suggestions not necessarily right or wrong answers :):)
