I've been encountering an oddity when walking with my Pokemon. When they pick up an item, it asks if I want to take it. But if I say "yes," they get angry and refuse to give it to me. Of course, if I say "no," then they keep it.

I'm just curious as to what the deal is with that; do they need to reach a certain level of happiness, or is that just how it is?

Go to the upper part of the fence, and look for the gap to walk through. Walk towards the exit gate for Ecruteak City, and you'll find it.

When does the Pokeathlon open? A construction worker keeps telling me to wait. I have 2 badges.

When you visit Slowpoke Well for the first time to get Team Rocket out of it, are there any chances of encountering any wild Slowpoke while walking around or are they stuck strictly to surfing/fishing nowadays?

I've encountered a few by walking. Rare, but they're there.

Thank you so much. I've always wanted to try out a Slowbro of sorts, and I figured now would be the time. I don't mind the rarity too much. I'm pretty patient.

I just had this same thing happen to me when walking with my Togepi. I was confused, so I came here to ask if anyone else knew what was going on. Every time I talk to my Togepi now he makes an angry face and roars at me.

I was just on pokeearth and on one page it said that the specialty headbutt is taillow. What is a speciality headbutt? does that just mean the rarer pokemon that can be found when headbutting a tree in that certain location?

Go to this page. It'll show you the exact tree you need to use Headbutt on for the Hoenn/Sinnoh Pokemon :)
