Congratulations on all the new shiny Pokemon!

So, last time I mentioned how I had luck SOS farming some shiny Pokemon. Right after my last hunt, I decided to try to find a shiny Dunsparce however, as I was trying to find one via ambushes a shiny Ekans appeared! I was kinda shocked, it was my third shiny of the day, and the first non-hatch/SOS one in a long while.

After that I kinda gave up my Dunsparce hunt to try and find a shiny Growlithe, who I found the next day!

After that I decided to try to find a shiny Smoochum, however my Shiny luck did not last, as two days later I had found nothing... until this one appeared! Very happy with her, and now I have a full shiny-team to tackle Ultra Moon with!

Finally, today I beat the E4 on Crystal and sent the GS Ball to that guy, so tomorrow I can start SR'ing for a shiny Celebi. In the mean time, I decide on a whim to see if I could use the shiny Gyarados to hat a shiny Dratini... and I did, on my first hatch! So glad to finally have a shiny Dratini.

I cannot believe my shiny luck... I bet this Celebi hunt will take years...

Random question, has anyone had any problems sending over Shiny Pokemon from Crystal to the main games? I want to do that with Dratini, but I heard that some people where having problems with the Bank, such as Shiny Pokemon going normal after transfer...

It’s been a couple days, but I successfully performed the shiny Ditto trick and now have a shiny Ditto in Crystal. Once I finish the story, I’ll use it to breed for shinies. I’ve used it to breed some extra Eevee, but none hatched shiny for me.

Random question, has anyone had any problems sending over Shiny Pokemon from Crystal to the main games? I want to do that with Dratini, but I heard that some people where having problems with the Bank, such as Shiny Pokemon going normal after transfer...

The main problem to look out for is the odd egg Pokémon. Dizzy Punch prevents them from being transferred to Bank. You have to delete it first.

I haven't posted in a while, but recently I've gotten Guzzlord and Giratina through SR, Chansey through SOS, and Hypno and Heracross randomly through RE while training, all in Ultra Moon, as well as numerous wormhole shinies while searching for the legends. Yesterday, I decided I wanted to MM a shiny Hawlucha but didn't want to deal with the headache of SOSing it (stupid "Rare" call rate). But first I wanted to SOS a Mold Breaker one to breed from, just for fun. I never got it though, because Darkwing the Hawlucha showed up at 13 SOS calls! She is Jolly nature, with perfect IVs in Attack and Special Defense. I'm super happy to have her!

Shiny Raticate! She showed up just on the turn to night, so unfortunately no Farfetch'd, but still relatively pleased with this! Next hunt I think will be Route 44 for Tangela, assuming I can get there after Morty...

anyway I am starting up my first mm on my ultra sun finally which is alolan vulpix i am at 24 eggs in atm I might get crystal version later to start a badge quest on that one too I really want that shiny celebi legally

@Shine: Thank you very much for the congrats a bit late but wanted to let you know thanks ^_^ I would of did the second one shiny too but I really wanted my iv checker and didn't feel like knocking it out for later so i just captured it with the correct nature I was targeting for the first one shiny.

I started a new shiny hunt last night. I beat Clair yesterday and got a Dratini from Dragon's Den. I gave it to the daycare couple with my shiny Ditto and I'm collecting/hatching 5 eggs at a time.

I don't plan on doing this for very many pokemon. Breeding is so much more efficient in gen 6 and 7. After Dratini shines, I'll beat the league and soft reset for either Celebi or Suicune.

I'm also continuing my SR for Totodile in Soul Silver.

So I was running around Mt. Hokulani fighting Minior for split defense EVs and suddenly a Minior shines. I went ahead and masterballed it because I never use the darn things and have a bunch of extras, plus had no Damp Pokemon in my party.
It's Bashful and Highly Curious. Orange core. Back to training now.

I've never actually hunted specifically for shinies before. Just got a lucky few on chance encounters. But I'm trying to get a shiny Illumise through chaining on route 7 in X.
Highest chain is only 24 though...crogunk seems to like to break my chains. Wish me luck & any tips are appreciated.

well I got my shiny alolan vulpix in 35 eggs last night, she is timid nature in dream ball however wrong ability I wanted which she ended up with snow cloak -_- so back to hatching eggs still because I want her to have the hidden ability. I am still keeping her only because she be great to be named Snowy after lillie's Vulpix

Shiny Dratini hatched after only 16 eggs. I named her Rhaegal, after Daenerys Targaryan's green dragon, even though she's female.

To be honest, after the number of SRs I put in for my first Poipole, and the fact that I'm still in-progress on my second, I almost hope the event one is Japan-exclusive. I don't "really" hope that, but after all this effort it would be annoying that I did all this, especially for the second one. Hoping we get confirmation one way or another sooner rather than later--if I can stop this second hunt I'd rather do it sooner.

So I'm curious how you guys feel about the 'shiny' Partner Cap Pikachu. I went through the trouble of SRing for it myself, and actually got it really quickly. Wasn't sure if it was worth sharing though.

I just caught a shiny Floatzel through the Ultra Wormholes. It is Careful, and has good IVs except its awful Speed IV.

After obtaining a shiny Ditto, I went on to breed for a shiny Staryu in Crystal. After around 150 eggs, this very pretty shiny appeared:

I think I will breed Eevee next to get a shiny Umbreon and/or possibly Espeon.

When it comes to Ultra Moon, I am SR'ing Type:Null. I haven't actually counted, but considering how many hours, days and weeks that hunt has been going on for, I can say for certain that I have reached the odds. That hunt is kind of on hold now while I'm playing Crystal though.

Shiny passimian after 1,214 eggs. Male, jolly, mischievous, with Receiver. I named him Kobayakawa after Sena Kobayakawa, the main character from the football manga Eyeshield 21.

I'd been hatching eggs for passimian while in the waiting room at an eye doctor's office (my father was getting those make-your-pupils-huge eyedrops and needed a driver) and my battery died on me before I could finish saving. Lost almost two boxes' worth of progress. So I switched to magikarp swap to hurry through getting those eggs back and just continued.

And eggs 1,214 AND 1,215 turned out shiny.

I put a perfect-IVed HA tyrunt in for egg 1,215, because that 'karp had its HA.

So I guess shiny tyrunt after 1 egg? Depending on how you look at it.

He's jolly and somewhat vain, with Sturdy. That'll give tyrantrum Rock Head when it evolves, so I can give it Head Smash without worrying about recoil.

I would have put oranguru in, but I have to get the right nature on it first.

Congrats to all the shinies since my last post. I am currently SRing for Blacephalon and Stakataka on my 3DS and various targets on my DS games.
I plan on getting the VC version of Crystal so I can SR for Celebi (Maybe one day we will be able to SR for Mew and Arceus since their original events were never released outside of Japan or not at all). Also the I Choose You Cap Pikachu can be shiny too? I might have to go for one eventually. I was planning on going for the Surf Pikachu eventually anyway.

Anyway I did get a new shiny... Sableye in Pokemon Go on the way home from my library last night during a Gym Raid. I will be going for one in the Friend Safari in my Y version because, why not?

Oooh, grats on the Sableye. It was my first (and still only, despite my efforts) Go shiny.
And yeah, even though the Cap Pika doesn't have a different color palette for shininess, it can be 'shiny' in that it has the summary star and battle shining animation.
I have a really, really bad quality image of the latter, if it shows properly.
