Just hatched my first Y shiny after only 40 eggs! With it being a Hasty natured male Chespin!

I'm going for my first Masuda Method shiny tonight. I really want a shiny Goomy but boy is this hatching time a doozy I realllly need to get the hatching o-power.
I also want to go for a shiny Growlithe and I don't know if I should do random encounters in the friend safari or keep trying Masuda Method. Anyone have any thoughts? It's kinda sounding like friend safari really is a good place to look for shinies but I don't know if I'm really sold on it yet.

Amazing day for shinies. Tried the new chain fishing and caught me a shiny Whiscash. Chain fishing is a good method but I find it way to easy. So I resumed my hunt for Frogadier. Didn't find a Frogadier but managed to snag me a Wartortle. Kept on hunting and then I found another shiny Wartortle. So far my shiny count is at 8:
Pancham x2 (RE on route 5, RE on safari zone)
Gabite (RE on safari zone)
Clauncher (Caught without chain fishing)
Braixen (RE on safari zone)
Quilladin (RE on safari zone)
Wartorte X2(RE on safari zone)

Well, I just caught my first shiny of gen 6. Its an Ariados from a poison friend safari. It is serious natured, and not the best stats. I don't know what Ivs are the best, I haven't checked yet. But, just the thrill of finding the first one in X/Y was really exciting for me, I've been tipping since day one and it finally paid off! And THAT, everyone, is my noteworthy post of the day.

Just found a shiny barbacle in less than 100 encounters in the friend safari! It has a neutral nature and it's secret ability, so all around it's pretty nice! I nicknamed him Wes Welker because I'm a broncos fan

Been fishing just about all day, no shiny. No wonder why it took mt ~9 years to get my first one. I just have no luck with this.

My shiny Clawitzer > Yveltal > Xerneas > shiny Bunnelby. Even if Bunnelby was chained I'm still happy with that. Now to reclaim the Clawitzer via easy mode chaining (hopefully with a nature that isn't ****).

I return with 3 shinies. Last night I got a shiny larvesta in the friend safari while I was hunting for a growlithe.

And just now I got my Y BQ#2 shiny via chain fishing a magikarp.

I did 200 REs on Platinum and Black 2 tonight.

I EV trained my Sentret just a little bit tonight during 100 more REs…Evolved it into Furret while battling one of the trainers in the Azalea Town Gym, beat the Gym, and gave Furret Rock Smash (already gave Sentret Cut). So next, I’ll probably continue EV training Sentret, then finish EV training Crockonaw and possibly evolve him into Feraligatr since he’ll obey me up to that level, and then I’ll finish EV training Quilava.

I’m still really thrilled that I found Sentret. Apparently, it has an appearance rate of 40%, and Pidgey has a rate of 55% (and then a 5% Ratata), so I was a little nervous that I’d get Pidgey for a few phases instead. So now hopefully that 55% works in my favor next time, and I can get a Pidgey and not another Sentret (which I won’t count for my BQ, being a duplicate)…And I REALLY hope I don’t find a Ratata -_- Not that it isn’t a cool shiny, but that’d just be a waste of finding a 5% shiny…

Also, it took me a few minutes to realize it, but…Anniversary shiny And my 20th real shiny! Here’s the live video of Sentret, too.

Maybe Platinum will decided to join the club tomorrow and give me a shiny (one I want, hopefully). Good luck, everyone

So there I was, taking a nice relaxing bath before bed...
SRing some fossils in W2....
because what else would one do in the bath?
Anyways, my one root fossil shone! ^_^
So shiny Lileep (I think it was Calm) for me, male of course.

Not sure what to hunt next.
I probably won't get out to EB Games until the weekend, so I'm stuck with hunting in W2 for the time being.
Maybe I'll MM something....

Wow, so much 6th gen shiny luck! Congrats to everyone! (Though I prefer not to chain/chainfish...)

Well, my latest Pokemon project, Project MegaMind, is underway! In this project, I will (after getting a DWF Abra + another with good IVs/Nature + GTS trading again) MM for a Shiny Abra with its Hidden Ability in White 2! (Mega Alakazam is awesome for the Battle Maison, from what I've heard! Though no one can move Pokemon from 5th to 6th yet...)
