Damn these Horde encounters go fast.

I can manage two Horde encounters per minute(at best, talking right on the button) using sweet scent, and thus far am at around hour 8 or 9 of my hunt for a Shiny Nidoran♂, so that's like 4800 Pokemon seen thus far.

Grats on the new Shinies, Shiny Dedenne is so cute, i keep pushing that little blighter further and further down my hunt list though.

Currently at 1100 SR's for Virizion, going to try and hit 2k tomorrow. I hope it shines soon ;3

Shiny Nidoran♂ just appeared after around 2 hours of HH this morning. Which means around 6k RE's at the most to find this little beauty

Nature is +Sp.Def - Sp.Atk... IV Check Reveals 31 in Defense and Sp.Defense and an appalling Sp.Atk, which is great news, as having strong defenses is always nice.

Now i get to EV train him in Attack(Trevenant) & Speed(Yanma/Electrike).

I've chosen Yanma/Electrike for my Speed EV training, as they both reside on the route where my next HH will take place.

The hunt is still going slow. I've long since passed the new odds since my last shiny... and I have most definitely passed the friend safari odds, hell I'm pretty sure I've fainted almost that many Chanseys and Audino xD

Also alternating in some headbutt hunting in soul silver in Azalea Town for my BQ as well as hoping for some dumb luck in Y.

However I wouldn't be shocked if in my hunts Aipom is the one to shine. Since I already have one and I can find it in both places I'm hunting. :s

I would have done this sooner, but I had class to go to first. Torchic finally shines! It took me 2770 eggs, so 2015 eggs on the 1/682 MM odds. Not exactly a shiny I should be worried about spoiling, though I will post a picture of Mega Blaziken later.

Adamant nature of course, with IV's of 31/31/31/6/31/24, so it missed out on perfect Speed, but not by much, really. And honestly, I don't care because he's male! That, and Speed Boost as a Mega Blaziken makes that less relevant than it normally would be, so I'm totally satisfied. Still have 130 eggs to go through, but I don't expect anything there. Now, off to empty out my eggs!

The speed is still pretty high, at least its not below 10, right? ;>

My MMing for a Timid Shiny Male Gastly has come to an end...933 eggs later!
Sat on the bus to travel down to my boyfriend yesterday, filled up 2 boxes and decided to hatch those before trying to sleep (4 hours to travel after all)
The first box gave nothing, I was tired and felt a bit bad (motion sickness lol) the 3rd egg in the box was shiny.

I can't believe my strange luck though I got the male one, but apparently he wanted to inherit practically all his mother's stats, so his IV's sucks..oh well, it's not like shiny Haunter can do very well in competitive battling anyway.

Sadly I can't put up pics, because My phone and Kies Air seems to hate my laptop right now lol. If it works later on today I'll edit this post <3

I finished X. I've run around in Friend Safaris. I've fished. I've hatched eggs with MM. Still nada.

I also finally played around with the GTS. I wanted another ditto, but everyone wants legends for them : /
So I figured I'd put the ditto I didn't want for another ditto. No luck >.< Must be too far buried beneath the silly requests.

Soon I should start collecting FCs, as I only have access to two safaris.
Too bad the FS exchage thread was shut down in the trade forum.
Luckily the FC exchange thread still seems to be around ^_^

You can filter GTS to not show people who ask for legendaries. I always put my dittos into the GTS asking for other dittos, preferably non-english. So far, nobody actually did follow my request..

Edit;
When I hunt for shinies, I always say this to the pokémon I slaughter;
Hand over the shiny and I will leave this place, I will kill everything I encounter until I get the shiny!

This is also why I haven't really returned to the FS I obtained shinies in recently, but soon I will, never did say for how long I'd leave. 0

I was looking through my pokedex earlier and I just had a feeling a should look at fungus since I always run from them when I'm training there. So I take a look and my feeling was right I have seen a shiny one and never noticed I mean its only a foongus but still wish I had noticed it.

I think that's honestly the first time i've sincerely been sorry for someone losing out on a shiny. Missing a Shiny Foongus is actually one of my worse fears when it comes to HH in areas where they are present, because it's so easy to miss the sparkles if it appears off screen, as well as possibly not hearing the sound due to whatever reason... heck sometimes i'll start a sweet scent, leave to grab a drink or something and come back, and it could be so easy to miss one.

Plus, the worse thing with Foongus is you can't really tell if its shiny unless you're willing to wait a few minutes for the game to cycle through all the different views, because you've got to see the back of the Pokemon to even tell... sooooo annoying.

Found two shiny teddiursas while hunting for shiny eevee. They're basically brother and sister, they both have quick feet. The girl has a crappy nature though :/
Oh well, they're adorable and soon to be trade fodder :3

Oh wow! I have been after aShiny Croagunk for a while and got it at chain 40. I really like the shiny sprite of it and Toxicroak for some reason. Well also I have seen the shiny patch for the first time (well on my own game and heard it, you cannot miss the sound) I will not go up to 80 to get a second one though so I stopped. I have gotten two shinies from route 7 in the green grass now so I think I am getting the hang of this new pokeradar system. And a good thing about route 7 is there are so many pokemon there I need a shiny of. I still need Volbeat/Illumise, Smeargle, Flabebe and Ducklett. So I may go back and chain all of those eventually, not right now. I think I will go back to my MMing for a while and hopefully get one of the starters hatch as shiny.

Just got my Timid Shiny Charmander with Dragon Pulse! In just 67 eggs! Also my second succesfull MM! Wasn't expecting to get it that early. o.o It's not perfect, of course. None of my pokemon are as I'm not a competitive player. My pokemon are just for fun. Might try for Honedge, Ponyta, or Fennekin next.

I named my Charmander Syaoran as my shiny Froakie is Kurogane.





Now hopefully Noibat shines soon. I haven't got anything in the friend safari since the Charmeleon which was my first shiny from the friend safari.

community hunt complete! i tried out some chain fishing as i haven't done any yet and found this little beauty at a chain of 33: shrimps. he's calm which isn't THAT bad i suppose, i don't really care in the first place since i don't tend to use my shinies for competitive battling anyway. i'm not sure if i want to evolve him yet in case i ever wind up catching a shiny clawitzer. xD;;

Just found a female Skill Link shiny Aipom in FS. The only move that it can learn that benefits from this ability is fury swipes. Oh well, she's still an adorable pink monkey.

Still hatching Zorua eggs with no luck. Not been hunting much the last couple of days tho. Earlier while randomly browsing the GTS I found a shiny Seviper with the offerer wanting a male Bagon which I happened to have. The Seviper is a japanese female one with an Adamant nature (coincidentally so was the Bagon I traded) and has a 31 IV in defence. Really happy as Seviper is one of my favourites and it had the nature I wanted. Going to take a short break from MMing to EV her and do the Battle Maison for a bit.

Congrats to all shinies since my last post.

After 330 eggs on Amaura I decided to take a break and finish some stuff for my living dex, and pokedex in general.
So I have been hatching and evolving various different families of pokemon using my ditto for easy eggs, and today came a surprise shiny in the form of a green/blue Seviper.
It reminds me of what happened in Black 2 while doing the same and accidentally hatching a shiny Vanillite.

Other than that, I'm probably going to start hunting to reclaim some lost shinies from gen 5 (Watchog, Basculin, Relicanth) luckily 2 of them are possible CF hunts so hopefully I can do them quickly and get back to Amaura.
