Managed to chain a Shiny Ditto with the PokeRadar yesterday. And today I happened upon a Shiny Cubchoo while Horde EV training in the Frost Cavern. Unfortunately, this gave all the pokemon I was training Attack EVs, so I had to plant berries to create a mutation that would yield Kelpsy berries and remove those EVs...

Congrats on everyone on your recent shinies c:

Well... I got lucky today. I have been resting after getting my shiny Petilil some days ago but from time to time I have been doing some Horde encounters. Horde encountering is a lot less stressing that hatching eggs and I have been doing about 1 or 2 hours of hunting everyday.
I don't really count in my hunts but I think they were more than 200 hordes... maybe?
Anyways I got lucky and found my shiny Spinda.

I have never been a fan of Spinda, but the idea of having a shiny with an unique look appealed to me so I decided to try to get one. I actually like Swablu a lot and a shiny Scyther would have been epic so there was no way for me to be disappointed with a shiny at this route c:

I named him Akius. He has a Mild nature with 10/18/16/28/14/4 as minimum IVs. He has Tangled Feet as his ability.
Now I have to EV train him...
I'm tired right now... but I may upload the video tomorrow. Anyways, good luck with your shinies!

I am trying to fish for a shiny Dratini... Forgot if I mentioned it. It's sooo hard... If I don't reel in too fast, because of Anxiety, I run into a billion Basculin. XD I kept one and I trade the others away. Right now, I'm taking a small break and try to fish for Magikarp. If I get a girl, her name will be Scarlet. They are so cute in Pokemon Amie, when you pet their fins. Sooo fishy! X3

Well, I happen to have more shiny news! Since I seem to keep changing my mind on what I hunt in Y version, I decided to try out the Pokeradar. I had been able to use it successfully in my Platinum version, but so far I had no luck in Y version. Today my luck changed though! After getting to a chain of 37, I managed to find a shiny Zoroark . I was really excited, this is a shiny I have wanted for a long time. Good luck on all your hunts!

So happy to have got this, I FINALLY have a new shiny on my 5th generation games, after not playing any of them in sooo long. One that I used to have as well to boot ^^

I wanted to take a break from my Pokémon X version as I've been on it non stop, working hard for a shiny Klefki...I was going to stay on X and Masuda Method a Venipede, Zorua and Charmander (my boyfriend likes Charizard you see and he thinks that it looks even better in shiny form, not to mention I have Charizardite X as I chose Charmander from Professor Sycamore) at the same time....guess I don't need to do Venipede now haha ^^''

I'll keep my shiny Venipede on White until Pokémon Bank comes out in December (27th-28th I think?). I can't remember the total amount of eggs it took as it's been so long since I played any of my 5th generation games, but I know I hatched 10 last night (before I dozed off asleep), and another 4 this morning, making it 14+ eggs after hatching for the first time in ages, I do know it was quite a lot of eggs as well-over 300 anyway so when I make my new shiny card, unfortunately this one will have to be 300+ and not the total number-lately I just haven't been as good as I used to be when keeping up with the amount hatched ^^''

It hatched on 19th November 2013 around 6:40am (this morning), Everstone worked (thank Arceus...always wanted to try that lol xD) so it's Adamant natured, female, has the ability 'Poison Point', and has the characteristic 'Quick To Flee'.

I named her 'Neonshine'...yes as some people remember; that was the same name my other shiny Venipede was in honour and memory of her (my first ever 5th generation shiny) before my Pokémon Black corrupted after 6 months of shiny work >.>''

IV's seem to be:

Hp: 16

Attack: 3 (No No NO!!)

Defense: 7 (What??!!)

Sp. Atk: 9 (Well I couldn't care less about Sp. Atk anyway lol, but higher IV than Attack has?? No way...)

Sp. Def: 9 (>.>'')

Speed: 29 (...well at least one IV is good...)

For some reason she has bad IV's other than Speed...but I know I passed down a 30 in Attack with a Power Bracer...

EDIT: Stupid STUPID me!! For some dumb reason I took my Power Bracer off the female parent (male had the Everstone for the nature), I am....so STUPID...this is what happens when you don't play for a while...you forget to do things. But don't worry Neonshine you're still my favourite 5th generation shiny, good IV's or not ^^''

~Sigh~...well I know for next time, however since I've been lucky with finding a shiny so soon after picking up this game in so long so i'm going to try and reclaim Sigilyph (having no luck in chaining it on X...) AND Zorua and see if I'm still lucky ^^

GASP! Shiny Fletchling just crossed my screen!!! AMAZING! Even caught it in a Primer Ball which I obtained just for it! It was definately the shiny I was looking for (scatterbug was a close second) Im super stoked! Actually gonna get my first badge now but technically BQ#2!! Thinking about getting Skiddo/Panchamp next xDDD Im happy to finally post a success

After what felt like zillions of years, I finally hatched my flawless shiny eevee <3 Now it's a flawless green Espeon. Couldn't get it's HA though lol.

Seriously, I carry a Magnet Puller, I'm not even inside a Safari, and I got ANOTHER Shiny Oddish in LESS THAN 10 RE???

oh well, at least this one has a good Nature for a Vileplume

The first Shiny Oddish is Brave, so my only option is to evolve it into Bellossom (good thing it's female, a male Bellossom is just weird )

I just about hatched my Second Shiny Eevee, so now I have an Umbreon for both me and my boyfriend.
I did get a strange strike of luck though..it's Female!

Her IV's are: 31 / 23 / 31 / 31 / 31 / 3
Really happy that I got 31 in HP, Def + Sp.Def (I was speaking to my boyfrind how I didn't care about it being Outstanding as long as it had 31 in HP, Def + Sp.Def if it ended up Female lol)

Might put up pictures later if my phone + laptop can communicate..but don't count on it x'D

Now I can finaly IV-breed for that near perfect shiny Gliscor for my Team <3

Congrats on all the recent shinies!

Along with my MM'ed Shiny Honedge yesterday, I also managed to Chain Fish a shiny Gyarados, shiny Seaking and another shiny Gyarados. (the first shiny Gyarados, I am sad to say, I SR'ed on by accident! Used my shiny Imposter Ditto to figure out if it had recoil attacks, wanted to read up on Aqua Tail and ended up pressing L, R and Select, not knowing that Start wasn't needed... )
Thank goodness Chain Fishing goes quite fast. Oh, and it's my first successful attempt at Shiny Chain Fishing! Had 40, 120+, 170+ and 50+ with no shines previously.

Is there a reason why people SR after unsuccessful shiny chains of 30-50+ ? Shouldn't the shiny rate still be the same at that point onwards? Or does it have to do with RNG stuff where SRing helps refresh things?

Yippee! After 120 hours I have my first shiny in X! I was fishin' for a Sharpedo when I hooked me a nice Lv30 modest Gyarados. I've named him 'Old Wetty'. Now I don't need to trade over my PKN Silver shiny Gyarados, meaning I can actually keep one shiny in Black 2!

Hey everyone! Congrats on all the recent Shinies since I last posted on Sunday! I am currently working on getting BQ #6 shiny. I am on Route 14 hoping for a shiny Goomy or Haunter. I have a feeling that i will get a Quagsire though. As for my friend safari hunting, i am in a safari with abra and espurr. I want both as shinies, so I am happy either way.

Got a Shiny Vulpix on my 400th egg using the Masuda Method. All perfect IV, except for attack. Unfortunately with Flash Fire. Still happy though, since Shiny Ninetails is one of my favorite Pokémon.

Oh lucky! I'm still MM'ing for a shiny Vulpix myself. I'm at about 3,750 eggs now/
