Are you kidding me game? So I'm usually an expert chainer and get all of my shinies that way but today I decided to breed. So I got a Japanese Ditto from the GTS and I had a Modest Protean Frogadier from the friend safari. I breed only 34 eggs and I notice that my Froakie is kinda light blue. I though "nah, no way it's probably a regular one" It's freaking shiny...and it is Modest.... and it has Protean. Yes!!!! Pics incoming!

I traded away my shiny Ditto (yes I need to edit my shiny card) for a shiny Aeigslash nicknamed Excalibur. Also, my shiny onix evolved into a shiny gold Steelix. :) Still hunting shiny Beldum. ( 115 eggs)

Well I was hunting for a Shiny Phantump in one of my Friend safari...and I don't know what to say but...I have Shiny Shuppets coming out of the wahzoo or something. I believe that brings the total up to seven Shuppets this week...I actually gave three away xD

Santa happened to be generous today, I got my early Christmas present: Pokemon XY Red XL. I'll say, compared to my meager Red 3DS, this thing is MASSIVE.

2,000+ For my hunt. I am off for three days due to the holidays, so hopefully something will shiny.

So my BQ for pokemon Y is underway and I'm around 100-200 SR for a shiny Chespin :)
Hoping that I can get this quickly as I'd love to start playing through Y with an all shiny team.

I've started breeding Petilils with my 3IV Japanese Ditto because I want a Lilligant on my Solar-Team. Not specifically aiming for a shiny, but still, there's always the chance. :D

I am looking for a shiny Ghastly/Haunter/Gengar modest or timid. I have a Mewtwo Y with good stats, iv's and the right nature (modest) it also has 266 spec. attk which is good. If you have a shiny Ghastly/Haunter/Gengar with good iv's, i'll throw in another shiny Greninja with the mewtwo y.

Congrats everyone! Im seeing lots of people having luck with MM, for those still hunting, I wish you the best of luck! ;D

Anyways, I just reached 282 eggs for my second Venipede MM.
So thats 446 Venipede eggs in total if I count both MM hunts together, the first one didnt work out because I didnt get the right shiny baby. ;~;
This is kinda like when I got a male Espurr instead of a female last time, haha.

Yes! Y-E-S. Hahah finally after a week of hunting I found my Shiny Phantump and the synchronize worked as well, its nature is impish!~
I was getting pretty doubtful as I found a total of SEVEN Shiny Shuppets before it but I finally received the shiny I wanted sorry for the terribad quality photos >A<

Congrats to you all on your shinies! :) I come to post some more shiny news, not just any shiny news, but the end of my Pokemon X Badge Quest as well :D I was horde hunting yesterday afternoon in Frost Cavern, I was saying to a friend that I hope I can get the Badge Quest finished soon as it was approaching 300 hours of game time. The next RE I did contained a horde of Cubchoo and one sparkled! I couldn't believe it.

I was going to post this last night but minutes after getting this shiny the power went out here due to a storm caused by a nearby tornado (Tornadoes don't happen here, so that was some kind of freaky weather!). By the time the power came back on I couldn't be bothered with posting.

Hey all, grats on the recent shinies! Thanks for the congrats Ampharos_Spark :).

I reached about 160 eggs for my Furfrou hunt yesterday. Might wait till I get the oval charm before continuing. I have a friend who has X version, so he can help me find the X exclusive Pokemon. Also, just got a dark friend safari with a Vullaby and Craudawnt. I absoutely love shiny Mandibuzz, so I decided to search for a shiny Vullaby. After a few hours, I found one! Can't wait to evolve her :D. Good luck on all your hunts!

My shiny modest protean Greninja! This has got to be the coolest shiny pokemon in the game, I love the Froakie line so much! I never thought I'd mm a shiny Froakie, I was just trying because I needed a break from chaining! This guy is going straight onto my competitive team :D

Have a quick question about the Masuda Method.

Does one of the pokes have to be a Ditto? Or can it be any two pokes that can breed?

It can be any foreign Pokemon paired up with a Pokemon of your region

Example: French Honedge and English Honedge. Foreign ditto is just easier because it can breed with any Pokemon that's not a baby or legendary.

I have one last question though. Does it have to be the same exact pokemon, or can they be in the same evolutionary line? Like Tyranitar and Larvitar

I know Im horrible late and there has already been people answering but..
It can be any pokemon in the same egg group and is foreign to your game. <:

Anyways.. Just reached 330 for my second Venipede MM. I hope I get a shiny before today ends. @u@

EDIT: OH MY GOD RIGHT AFTER I POSTED THAT SHINY VENIPEDE HATCHED AND IT HAD SPEED BOOST. SHINY VENIPEDE QUEST IS OVER.

Edit 2: Oh my god I think im going to shrivel up and become a raison. The IVs were TERRIBLE for a competitive Scolipede, 31/x/31/31/x/31. Oh well.. >_< A shiny is a shiny and at least I got Speed Boost this time, I'll keep him and hopefully he'll be usable after some EVing.
