Thanks everyone on the condolences for the lost Geodude, I didn't expect to run into a shiny when I only needed 40 EVs in defense and with Milotic holding the power item and having pokerus - pretty sure I only need one durant horde. I still need to reclaim Larvesta first since I lost her months ago x.x haven't been RE/HE hunting in a long while.

I was EV training in attack a few hours after geodude when......





So two horde shinies in one day!
I already have a weepinbell from hordes
so another double for me x3

It's brave with chlorophyll! Pretty sure my first one was brave too x.x it's in pokebank so I couldn't check x3

-- just checked lol both weepinbell are female brave chlorophyll!

Congratz everyone on all those shinies! And condelances on the persons who lost their shinies. My laptop crashed to his death so I'm on my phone right now so I'm sorry for the blanket congratz.

I decided I didn't want togepi to be my 3th BQ shiny so I changed togepi for Espurr since I really love this creepy little cat. I'm around 30 eggs at the moment and I have 4 more boxes stored for now. I'm really motivated and I'm ready for a long hunt.

I don't think I will be participating in this months CH since I don't really like the targets but I think I'll tune in next month!

No new shinies for me still. My hunts are at 180 MMs in Y, 1925 SRs in B&W, 27365 REs for my BQ in B2, and 9500 REs for my BQ in HG.

I've decided to take a break from my hunt in B2, since it's takeing so long and I've restarted W2 so that I can SR for the legendaries for that game. I've also decided to do the berry tree part of the CH as a side hunt in Y.

Congrats to the recent shinies and good luck to all ongoing hunt, especially Cpchris on Growlithe, TheMaster327 on the bird trio, Dangertrout on your BQ, LopunnyBunny on Torchic, and Lunafloon on Sandile. Sorry to hear about the lost Geodude, ohjeezitskim.

Wellllll. I don't know what's wrong with my game lol three horde shinies in just over 24 hours, no shiny charm.
Not complaining! Male Murkrow with super luck and gentle nature! Capturing him took over 15 minutes
and it was sooooooo frustrating. I used over 25 balls and all PP for sleep powder. x.x

A friend of mine's favorite pokemon is Murkrow and he wanted me to get a shiny Murkrow and name it 'Slickback'
I told him that I'll eventually find one when EV training and promised him I'd name it that haha.
But yeah, he calls it a pimp so that's the reason, no doubt xD

Game, what is wrong with you! Why you can't give me my shiny Yanma, which i have been looking for ages. But no, i got another shiny Nosepass, third one. Shinies are nice, but i really wnat that shiny Yanma, because I love Yanmega and it's shiny form.
She has Naughty nature and ability Sturdy, like all three of them.

After 520 SRs, I have finally gotten my shiny Charmander! Not the best stat distribution or nature but still happy and I love him! Thank you to everyone who gave me words of encouragement!


I don't know why it says it's deleted when it's still there. <_<

I did well on my Shiny Minccino hunt today. I hatched around 40 more Minccino eggs which is a great start for today. I should be able to hatch another couple dozen eggs later this afternoon, so that'll bump up my total for the week. My Shiny hunting efforts have been mediocre at best lately though.

Congrats on the Murkrow. I love the purple shinies most! Also did you name him slickback cause of the joke a Pimp Named Slickback? Or just coincidence?

But anyhoo, my Zapdos hunt in LeafGreen has been on 5,800 SR's for a couple of weeks since I kind of lost motivation out of nowhere. I started a new hunt on my Y version though: A fossil hunt. I'm reviving 54 fossils per SR and so far I'm at 1,703 fossils seen. Never had a shiny fossil pokemon, so I'm pretty excited to see which one I'll get (Hoping for Cranidos or Kabuto).

Congrats to all of the recent shinies and super congrats to those that have managed to complete the community hunt already. Good luck to those that are still hunting.

Up to 8,000 SRs for Mewtwo and 2,200 SRs for Chimchar. Pretty close to the odds for Mewtwo now, so hopefully it shines soon! I've also hatched 500 MM eggs for Bunnelby on X.

I finally got my shiny from Unova's Route 7 just now. A male Zebstrika, which is great, as it was one of the three Pokémon I wanted to shine.

This means that I can finally move on to Unova's Route 9.

Yup, a Silcoon! It's Naughty, alert to sounds, with IVs: 10, 11 / 22, 23 / 10, 11 / 22 / 13 / 26

Pretty good, I'd say!

Oh, boy, I haven't posted on here in quite awhile. Actually, I don't even remember the last time I posted.

Well, I got two shinies today. First one was a hoppip. I was hoping for a roselia, but I still like hoppip. I would've much preferred it to psyduck, though.After that, I decided to go into a bug safari, hoping for a shiny vivillion, or paras. Not even five minutes ago, while I was watching random pokemon videos, I looked down to see a vivillion on my screen. I went to go press run, but I noticed the vivillion was more..brighter then usual. Sure enough, it was a shiny! And a female too. After I caught her, I went to go check her nature...she ended up getting Jolly. Well darn. She got her hidden ability though. I'm going to go run around, and see if I can get a better-natured one.

Funny thing to note is that I caught her at 666:33 game time. Hm.

1: And, thirty minutes later, I get another vivillion!...with an even worse nature(brave). Ugh. I'd synchronize, but I want the ability to be random..and decent. Meh.

2: Well, I found another shiny vivillion today..this time it was a male. And what was it's nature?...Adamant. My god. I am not pleased right now. I might as well start Synchronizing now..knowing my luck, if I don't, then the next one I find is going to be Impish, or Careful.

3: Well, found ANOTHER vivillion, male. What's it's nature? TIMID. THANK ARCEUS, IT HAPPENED. Well, I synchonized this one, but it worked. :D He has perfect IVs in Speed and HP which are nice. And he got compoundeyes, which I wanted.

Today has been a really good day for me:

Sometime at the beginning of this month I started on a new Masuda Mix Up of the following Pokemon: Caterpie, Weedle, Venonat, Meowth, Mareep, and Roselia. I've been taking it pretty easy this hunt, but today on the 107th hatch out came a Shiny Mareep! My first intentional shiny! I couldn't have been any happier! Of course I checked her IVs right away and she had the following spread: 31/31/31/x/31/31. Which doesn't bother me much since I everstoned Modest anyways. I had 13 more Mareep eggs left and I swear... I joked: "What if I get another shiny Mareep? Pfft, in 13 eggs? As if". (Facepalm) The 119th hatch nearly gave me a heart attack! Another Shiny Mareep! So not only did I accomplish getting my first intentional MM shiny, but I also hatched another shiny in the same batch! (Another first!) Words couldn't express how happy I am today.

Any nature with a -Sp. Attack for Cranidos is definitely a +. So a lovely shiny with a good nature to boot!

Now that my hopes for the Masuda Method have been renewed I'll be going back to my original MM hunt with Bulbasaur and the Masuda Mix Up I had with it. I left off with 550 eggs for Bulbasaur and 200 eggs for the mix of Pokemon.

In regards to my other hunts, Torchic reached 12,222 SRs today. Still nothing since that Pooch at SR # 7601. I'm really hoping I won't have to do another 8k SRs, but we'll see. :( The community hunt for Combee and Burmy is at 750 SRs. Not much, but coming along nicely. My side hunts are going at a snails pace, but at least I'm getting in decent work for Anorith since I'm doing 25 fossils per SR. (775 fossils revived so far)

Congrats on the double Mareep, and every other shiny you guys have seemed to gather!

I'm creeping closer and closer at beating my friend to the First-To-Ten FS hunt. I am now on 5-8, thanks to a wonderful shiny Quagsire. I finally reclaimed that damned Quagsire that fled me in the Great Marsh!

That's twice now I have hunted hordes on foongus-infested routes, and twice I have managed to escape the dreaded blue mushroom!

I got trevenant! Exactly what I wanted! And now I am fleeing Route 20 before foongus decides to show up! I'm moving my hunt into Frost Cavern; I want all of the horde shinies there.

My espurr MM is up to 710 eggs now, still looking for that elusive shiny male. Hopefully I'll get it before another female.

In Black 2, I have 20 more eggs to hatch in my second run for houndour. Nothing's sparkled yet; I'm expecting to go into round 3 rather than getting an early shiny.

Side note: does anyone have a safari with teddiursa that I can get into?

Edit: Houndour round 2 came up empty. I've begun egg collection for round 3.

@Missingno. Master - I would trade one of my phiones or the first 6IV male espurr I hatch for an egg from that beheeyem, since I have no way to get anything knowing Skill Swap to breed one of my own.

Hexin' Wishes, congrats on your Charmander, but 520 SRs and "Finally" dont really belong in the same sentence! =o Are you aware of the odds? Dont want you to expect a shiny every 500 encounters/resets and be vastly disapointed when you find out the the odds are much worse than that. A 520 SR hunt is extremely quick and you should be praising Arceus with such a quick hunt! ^^

Did another decent amount of hunting yesterday, at least I feel its a decent amount.. Some of you do so much! I dont see how you find the hours in the day. Anyways, started off by hatching some more Eevee eggs, as I was watching tv and eating dinner so I couldnt really do more than that. I had 10 boxes of Eevee eggs saved up, and hatched 215 of the eggs. No shiny yet, but as I said last time I'm not expecting one for quite a while. Then I did some more Route 3 REs and Tepig SRs, getting a bit difficult to do as my RSI is acting up on SRs, but I'll see how long I can hold out with that. Currently, Tepig is at 4700 SRs, and the Route 3 hunt is at 1661 REs. Not expecting anything on either of them really, not even route 3, as I didnt pick up the Shiny Charm despite having my dex filled.. I dont know, it just wouldnt feel right for me. To each his own, right? ^^
