Back from holiday, finished my remaining Eevee eggs but still no shiny. This puts me at about 1200 MM eggs and my longest shiny hunt...being over the odds twice over isn't very funny!

There have been some incredible hunts in the week that I've not been around, well done to all!

Hey guys! It has been an extremely LONG time since I have last updated on here. So congrats to everyone who has gotten a shiny since I got my shiny Honedge forever ago!

As for me, I have gotten a few more shinies since Honedge. I have gotten: Gastly via MM, Hawlucha via FS, Hoppip via Horde, 2 Pidgeys via FS, Feebas via MM, Trapinch via FS, Shelgon via FS, and shiny Beldum via MM

As of right now, I am hunting for Kirlia in a FS and then plan on moving back to Unova to SR for Cresselia, the lake trio, the Regis, and Heatran and then move back to Kanto (HGSS) for the legendary birds. Now I will probably take breaks in between SR different legends, otherwise I will go crazy. I have been mainly just elite 4 training all my current shinies to get them to 100. So that will probably be what I do in between breaks. My shiny Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza are all ready Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire!! Hoenn has always been my favorite region so I am soooo excited for it!!! Now to just get the Hoenn starters in shiny form...... :)

EDIT: Just got my shiny Kirlia! I was going after it in a FS with Jiggly and Clefairy too so I am happy that I got Kirlia first! I critical captured it in a Quick Ball! It is a female with the nickname Aliyah. It has the Trace ability with Bold nature (-Atk, +Def) with max IVs in HP and Atk. I'm super happy with her! Now on to Cresselia! I'm hoping to knock these B2W2 legend shinies quickly since I have the shiny charm on both games! :) :)

After a day of hunting in Unova's Route 9, I now have a new shiny. I was a little worried that I would get a Liepard as I already have one, but fortunately I didn't. What I got was a Duosion, which was one of my targets.

I'm now moving on to Unova's Route 11 where I'm hoping to find Shelmet, Karrablast, Seviper or Zangoose. However, I'll be happy with anything except Amoongus.

EDIT: 15 minutes ago, a wonderful shiny Karrablast appeared!

Now, I'm heading for the Village Bridge. The only Pokémon available in the dark grass there are Marill, Golduck, Seviper and Zangoose, which makes it a great place for hunting the latter two.

Congrats on the recent shinies, some very lovely ones (especially Nakashima's Pikachu, looks lovely!).

As for me, no shinies for a while on my end...though I've begun hunting in Eterna Forest on Diamond. I honestly prefer Platinum for hunting in there...but I'm SRing Piplup on Platinum so Diamond is the only game that I can hunt in Eterna Forest with. I have the other Platinum but that's got all my shinies on there from the Badge Quest!

Congratulations to everyone's shinies!

Well, I have been taking a break from shiny hunting for just over a week.
I decided to try doing it again today, and about ten minutes into hunting, I cam across a shiny.

It is a third shiny Dragonair from the FS.
It has 31 IVs in special attack and speed.

Cool. First shiny of June.
I have not decided if I will do this month's CH though. I might just go plant some berries just in case.

I have spent all day so far breeding pokemon, mostly for other people. I went back to the daycare to take out the pokemon in there then went to hatch eggs... so I bicycled over to lumiose and on my way I found a shiny pancham. I didn't think I would get another shiny for a while, I just got beldum late yesterday. and it was wild as opposed to me hatching a shiny since I was using mm....I do have a few more eggs, so we will see(I didn't)

It has been a MIGHTY long time since I posted on here. I stopped playing Y for a while, stopped my badegquest, and only slighty continued my latias hunt thats been going on for nearly a year now. But today I started reading/watching comics on youtube and wanted to continue my HG badgequest. But after a bit I decided I just wanted to get a shiny eevee then rayquaza, then mewtwo. But I got bored and didnt want to SR. So I turned on my 3ds for the first time in months, put my Jolteon named ONNNNNYYY on the daycare, 3 eggs later. A SHINY EEVEE! Im naming Him Skeletor (a reference from the movie 50/50) pics soon.

So the past two days have been good for me, I got a shiny Munna in the friend safari, then a shiny Lapras. Yesterday I decided to go to another safari to try and get a Espurr, and ended up getting a shiny Girafarig, then I went back to the ice safari that I got the Lapras in to hunt for Snorunt and ten minutes later I got shiny Snorunt(male though). Last night before going to bed I started hatching the last of my Squirtle Eggs and I got a shiny one with its hidden ability! CONGRATS TO EVERYONE and good luck, now I need to find out what I'm going to hunt next.

(Finally got a chance to get on.) Congrats to Everyone! Hope everyone's hunts are going well!
After getting my treecko after 295 eggs (now cant wait to see what him and my shiny mudkip look mega) I decided to breed some random pokes for MMing. Lets just say I burned through my luck for the year. I obtained a shiny pineco in 22 eggs, then a shiny Cryogonal in 16 eggs AND THEN I got a shiny female lileep in 12 eggs. I don't know where that luck came from and I know it will never return. And for the CH my trees don't want to shake at all ever out of a whole field 1 tree was shaking (silly ev reducing berries)

It's been a little over 100 hours in Y now, yet I still haven't found a shiny(I usually find one by the 80-90 hour mark, I have around 11 shiny's). I've also hatched at least 115 Espurr eggs and haven't found anything, but I'm still going.

Though what I do have: Lunatone, Donphan, Haxorus, Roserade, Mightyena, Hydreigon, Dusknoir, and Kyurem. Event shiny's: Giratina, Palkia, Dialgia, and Entei.

I didnt do a whole lot of hunting today, as weekends tend to be bad for me to hunt in.. Though tomorrow is also gnna suck as I have a lot of plans lol. Ah well, Ill get more time to hunt later in the week. All i did today was some SRs for Tepig and some encounters on my next RE hunt, which I've decided is going to be Route 2 on my pokemon Y.

Route 2 - 482 REs
Eevee - 300 eggs

Just when I thought today couldn't get any better shiny-wise, after around 80-100 eggs today alone, around 3000 if you count my tries previously in Y and B/w(2). A Shiny Zorua has just SHONE! Its a female, Her name is going to be Shogun-Rua after the MMA fighter, Pics coming soon! also it got the Naive nature which I wanted. And thanks for the grats Nakashima! good luck on your hunts!

Well, now that Steelix is out of the way, I'm setting my sights on defog Scyther.

With my breeding leftovers I should really consider opening a trade shop. I have a few onix, charmander, and torchic just taking up box space that I could really stand to get rid of for new stuff.

It's gonna be a lot of fun to see how that one goes!
