He accidently took dump in Imu sama's garden. That alone made him threat to WG.

Elbaf has been foreshadowed since little garden lol. It’s technically/narratively more important than wano.

i know they made that promise to dorry and brogy. But wano has ancient weapon, birth of ponyglyphs, kozuki clan linked directly to joyboy and void century, opening of borders, oden and his forshadowing of pirate king 20 years in future, toki coming from void century and lot of other important details. I think narratively wano is much more important.

I dont know if elbaf is endgame. I think after raftel, they will go back to marinford for big war. Alabasta only had location of weapon written in it. Rest of the lore related to wano is completely new. The fact that WG wants wano and sengoku himself saying every big time pirate like WB, Roger, Rocks Alliance had something to do with wano and samurai Tells lot.
Also i think since wano is based off japan, oda has given this arc more time and relevance than anything else till now. Noway elbaf is going to be that long.

Lol, never thought I'd see anybody write something like that about One Piece.. xD

One Piece is about the idyllic idea of freedom and adventure. Not who is stronger then who and who kills who. That's simply not how this manga works.

The fact that Oda actually killed off a few characters since MarineFord tells us a lot about how much the story is nearing the endgame, so yeah.. I'd assume some more will be killed off, but expecting 'a lot' to die simply isn't in the line of the manga.

So I was right that Luffy would have a 3 billion beri bounty, although I never would've guessed that Law and Kid would receive the same bounty at the exact same time. While I realize that they did help take down Big Mom and even fought Kaido and survived, I don't think they deserve that amount since Luffy was the one who did the heavy lifting against Kaido and actually defeated him. Not to mention that since he's Dragon's son, has a legendary Devil Fruit, and is generally one of the biggest threats to the World Government, his bounty is at least justified whereas Law and Kid haven't done enough to justify their bounty increase from my perspective.

You missed the point that the Gorosei wanted to downplay Luffy. That's why his bounty is similar to Kid and Law. They also wanted a photo that didn't show Luffy in the Nika-form and didn't want his D. initial on the poster to downplay his . But Morgans screwed them over.

And lastly, Buggy becoming a Yonko is disappointing to me. While I understand the logic behind the decision somewhat [he has a large fleet and capable fighters that escaped from Impel Down], I find it vexing that Buggy keeps stumbling into situations where he gains incredible power while doing the very least himself.

The thing is that now Luffy has become a Yonkou himself, the entire value of the class doesn't really matter that much?

I mean as far as we can tell, the only one that matters is Blackbeard and the other two are potential allies..

The thing about Shanks and Buggy is that both entered Roger's crew at (roughly?) the same time. I think there's actually more to their shared backstory then meets the eye.

Yeah, on personal merit, there should be absolutely no reason to put Buggy on the same level as Shanks, Teach and Luffy - but I'm sure there's a reason why Buggy keeps failing upwards. And I wouldn't actually be surprised if Shanks' audience with Im was actually about Buggy.. In fact, that entire scene was shady as hell.

With everything that transpired in this arc, with the lore related to Rocks, Oden and Roger, everything related to the Poneglyphs, the addition of Yamato to the crew, Zoro's backstory that's still being lampshaded, Wano essentially becoming part of Luffy's territory, a major powershift in the global landscape by taking out both BM and Kaidou - and Luffy awakening the true form of his Devil Fruit, which puts the biggest target on his back by the WG for the dire implications - and you compare it to..

Arabasta? Sure. Robin joined the crew, Robin found out the location of Pluto there and Luffy beat his first Shichibukai and removing Baroque Works essentially put Arabasta in his pocket. Not much really changed after Arabasta. After Wano, the whole world will be in chaos..

This is just not right. I'm not one to start with numbers but it's clear that between Luffy fighting Ulti and BigMom absolutely destroying her and Page1 that Nami only gave her the final push.

It's just like saying that Krookodile deserves the credit for taking out Stephan's OP Sawk when Leavanny did most of the work and Krookodile just wrapped it up with an Aerial Ace..

Well it seems like a prediction I made about ten years ago actually could happen. I'm sure Buggy won't be involved in any big fight and Luffy fighting Blackbeard is given so Blackbeard will probably kill Shanks soon I guess.

Also the last saga/arc approaching is something I've been waiting for since the timeskip. Now we can get to see how Oda will close every character and subplot existing. If he's successful with that seemingly impossible task, then he's a mastermind.

Part 2 of Road to Laugh Tale has been fan translated. Some new info is sorta out: Black Maria was originally supposed have an Ancient Zoan fruit for the Stegosaurus and Ulti was supposedly originally a genderless creature of some sort named Jirai and Sasaki was originaly named Faro(?)
