    Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
    Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future

  • Hi all. We had a couple of reports of people's signatures getting edited etc. in a bad way. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and nobody has compromised any of our databases.

    However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar passwords to elsewhere which has been accessed, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

    We always recommend using unique passwords, and two-factor authentication if you are able. Make sure you're as secure as possible

I dare not even think about it. Japan has such a toxic work culture. Oda already said he only gets about 3 hours of sleep each day. I just hope he brings the series to a satisfying end and can enjoy a peaceful retirement.

Yeah, Bleach ended early than planned and only one chapter of the the Echoing Jaws of Hell arc came out and some stuff was only addressed in the novels.
thats why the latest breaks are important as long as Oda feels good and he delivers great chapters.

Arlong: Highly unlikely unless he managed to break out of Impel Down. He can’t go back to Fish-Man Island, Luffy would have already heard about it if he did.

When Saul was revealed to be alive, I thought it might be him, but after the info we got in this chapter I don’t think so.

Also, although I’m confident Oda wouldn’t pull a stupid stunt like this, I now dread the idea of a zombie Ace plot line.

Garp is just getting started. Even Blackbeard is afraid of Garp and the Blackbeard Pirates are already stretched thin.

Predictions/early speculation for the next few chapters

Luffy, Sanji and Zoro start fighting Kizaru on Egghead Island. Kizaru dies in the aftermath leaving just Akainu, Fujitora and Aramaki.
Garp and Koby head to Egghead Island along with the rest of SWORD while hunting down the rest of the Blackbeard Pirates.
Blackbeard arrives at Egghead Island and all of the Straw Hat Pirates+Garp and Koby start fighting Blackbeard.
Blackbeard narrowly manages to survive the fight with Garp and heads to Egghead Island after taking Hibari and Kujaku as hostages.
An all-out fight between the Straw Hats and the Blackbeard Pirates begins.
Garp and Koby arrive at Egghead Island to rescue Hibari and Kujaku.
Sabo joins the Straw Hat Pirates (The Revolutionary Army can function just fine without him).
Ivankov replaces Sabo as vice-commander of the Revolutionary Army.
Vivi is most likely heading to Egghead Island after the events of the past few chapters.
Nami leaves the Straw Hats after realizing that she’s still too weak and goes to train with Rayleigh for two years while he teaches her how to use Armament and Observation Haki. Another two year timeskip occurs after Egghead.

Don't know how I missed the TCB Scans last week, but just read the latest.

Damn, we really are about to get a clash between the Four Emperors. Even though I know we're in the final saga, always surprises me when the story reminds us of that fact with tidbits like that. And Buggy continues failing upwards. We love to see it.

Expected Sabo to have survived the Lulusia incident, but didn't expect to see it this soon. Gonna be wild if we learn what happened at the Reverie next chapter, but I also wouldn't be surprised if Oda strung us along for a while after.

I still think there are about 8 years before the manga ends.
the biggest battles will take at least 30 chapters.

by the way, i have a problem with the normal spoiler tag and thats why i use the inline spoiler tag.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, we still have a long while until this wraps up. The final battle is going to be like Marineford on steroids, so Oda's going to take his sweet time with the setup and execution.

The last time we saw Law and Bepo, they had escaped into the ocean after being defeated by the Blackbeard Pirates so where are they going? My guess is that they’re heading to Fish-Man Island.

The sun will turn red, the sky will turn pitch black, lightning will strike, the earth will swallow everything and the oceans will boil with my wrath.

Sabo returns to Momoiro Island with refugees from Lulusia Kingdom. Dragon suspects that Kuma was programmed by Vegapunk to eventually return to Mary Geoise. Sabo has a private meeting with Dragon and Ivankov and reveals what really happened at the World Summit.

Cobra asks Pell and Chaka to look after Vivi and not to let her out of their sight. Jabra, Blueno, Kalifa, Kumadori and Fukurou are all now members of CP0 and appear for the first time since the 2-year timeskip. Karasu reveals that he ate a Logia type Devil Fruit (Soot-Soot Fruit). The next chapter will continue to focus on what happened at Mary Geoise during the World Summit.

Sabo encounters Bonney and reveals that he heard that Kuma had a daughter. Saint Charlos makes another attempt to capture Shirahoshi forcing Sai and Leo to attack him. Im shows up and sits down on the Empty Throne shocking Cobra.

Im speaks about the Poneglyphs and their presence around the world. The details of Cobra’s assassination are revealed. Sabo shows up and attacks the Gorosei and Im with his flames. Wapol witnesses Cobra being assassinated and later escapes Mary Geoise with Vivi. At some point, Vivi was caught by CP0 and tied up.

Sabo escapes Mary Geoise on a boat bound for Lulusia Kingdom. Bonney also escapes on a boat heading for Tajine Kingdom, but later joins up with the Straw Hat Pirates on their way to Egghead Island. The full names of the Gorosei are finally revealed. One of the First Twenty is revealed to be Saint Imu of the Nerona family. Vivi asks Wapol for a Den Den Mushi so she can notify her father. Sabo reports to Ivankov and Dragon that he saw a large shadow hovering over Lulusia Kingdom and believes that it wasn’t a living being or natural disaster. Imu orders Vivi to be captured. Saint Figarland Garling is revealed to be the former king of God Valley, the commander of God’s Knights and the one who executed Saint Donquixote Mjosgard for protecting Shirahoshi and allowing Sai and Leo to escape. No new chapter until July 10th.

The beginning of another flashback begins, this time showing the readers what really happened at God Valley.

I'm actually perfectly fine with not going back to Egghead just yet, nothing interesting is even happening over there rn. I'd rather get this Reverie stuff out of the way first before getting into the cluster that's bound to be the "Egghead incident". But I do admit, this is oddly place all things considered.

I only started to watch One Piece properly since the first battle of Luffy and Kaido and the same thing happened in Wano, you have a lot of things happen in the same way and Oda seems to know how to handle this kind of situation.
when Yu-Gi-Oh ARC-V showed the XYZ dimension and the fusion dimension in the same time, it was poorly handled and things were rushed.
