i have 5 badges so far and right now i'm trining at iron island.
Current team:
lv 40 Toxicroak
- SuckerPunch, Faint attack, Brick Break, Mud Bomb
lv 40 Staraptor
- Return, quick attack, close combat, aerial ace
lv 41 {Mow} Rotom
- leaf storm, shock wave, omnimous wind, confuse ray
lv 41 Gallade
- psycho cut, night slash, leaf blade, earthquake
lv 41 Infernape
- mach punch, close combat, fire wheel, shadow claw
the sixth spot right now is for a pseudo-hm slave, gastrodon right now. i'll possibly change it to golduck later.

i want to get them to lv 45 before i take on bryon. i'm thinking on transfering the riolu from ranger over, for maybe a special orriented figher.

- Got the HM Defog and searched the Tower.

- Evolved Shinx into Luxio.
- Met the Psyduck blocking the way to Celestic Town.
- Went on a training spree before heading to Vilestone City.
- Got to Vilestone City, met Dawn and went to battle Maylene.
- Evolved Ralts into Kirlia through Gym battles.
- Beat Maylene with Starvavia and Kirlia.
- Met up with Looker again and obtained HM Fly after beating the Galatic Grunts and getting Dawns Pokedex back.
- Started to travel south toward Pastoria Town.
- Battled all the trainers on the way.
- Caught a Ryhorn.
- Evolved Monferno into Infernape.
- Caught a Houndour.
- Evolved Staravia into Staraptor.
- Went into the cafe and Evolved Luxio into Luxray.
- Got to Pastoria Town.
- Went into the Great Marsh.
- Caught a Quaigsire (spelling).
- Caught a Tropius.
- Caught a Croagunk.
- Caught a Wooper.
- Beat Barry outside the Gym.
- Got the Fen Badge from Crasher Wake.
- Caught a Shellos (East).
- Followed the Galactic Grunt and beat him.
- Got the medicine from Cynthia to get rid of the Psyduck.
- Traveled West of Pastoria Town to the Backlot Mansion.
- Flew to Solaceon Town and headed North to Celestic Town.
- Disbanded the Psyduck and got the item of Cynthia to give to her Grandmother.
- Headed North defeating the trainers.

-He switched to Slacking and I Focus Blasted that as well

Today I didn't plan on doing too much. I caught the swarm Pokémon, Pinsir. I decided to head to Mr.Backlot's to see what he had in the garden today. It was Eevee. I busted out my LeafGreen cartridge, and PalParked my Jigglypuff (a male named Fitzgerald. He was one of a pair which contained a female named Ella). He was necessary in me finding the female Eevees I needed to round out my collection. So, now I have these:

Damper (Vaporeon, female)
Blitzer (Jolteon, male)
Flicker (Flareon, female)
Esper (Eevee, female--to become Espeon)
Umber (Eevee, male--to become Umbreon)
Acer (Eevee, male--to become Leafeon...Acer is the genus of maples! Fits the name theme and the type!!)
Shiver (Glaceon, female--she's been with me since Hearthome City, though)

My starter pokemon was Piplup,
but then I end up losing and got thrashed
by my rival, the ugly curve hair pun..

I feel your pain, Sir Kuno... I lost to the rival first time too. Stupid Turtwig withdrew six times and I wasn't able to get a critical hit, so he just tackled me to death... oh, the humiliation!

I've punished DJ Piplup(my Piplup) by force-feeding him Rare Candies with an Everstone on, so now he's a Level 100 Piplup. Anyways, I'm almost at Hearthome, but I want to train up a Gallade and Togekiss so I can destroy Fantina.

Yesterday, I climbed Mt. Coronet again and caught Dialga & Palkia.
Then I caught Cresselia, thanks to a combination of Wobbuffet & Almia Darkrai (yaaay Dark Void).
I'll probably send the birds running later on.
Today I did some more Battle Frontier stuff. Battle Castle is super fun. I might even get a symbol : o

I've recently got the pokerus. I think I got it from catching a pokemon, Wooper from the marsh, I believe. 2 of my pokemon in Bebe's box have the pokerus. My pokemon party had it too. But I'm not sure if it's still there or not. I have this wierd smiley next to my pokemon, that I don't know what it means. There used to be PKRS symbol next to the status, but not anymore. They just have that smiley.

I need some enlightenment now. How exactly does this pokerus work in this version? I've read the description on the site, but I still have questions. Does the virus duplicate onto other pokemon? How long does it last? What does the smiley next the my pokemon mean?

@Luster. It works the same as in all other gens. It last for about 2/3 days. If you put it in the box it will last forever until you take it out. Yes it transfers to other pokemon. The smiley face is a sign that the pkrs has cured and cannot spread. But the pokemon will still get the double EV gain.

Now my recen't happenings.
I caught a shiny giratina today! It was probably a little under 1000 soft resets. Now that I finally could get out of that drab dysfunctional world I can see daylight again! I just beat volkner, took on aaron and Have my old DP team and I'm currently tearing down bertha.

Yay, just got Pokerus. I spread it onto some PC dwellers.
Recently entered the Distortion World, ready to catch Giratina. I had Infernape lv 57, Togetic lvl 41 (yawn/sleep, and wish), Drifblim lvl 28 (Cut, Fly, Defog), Bibarel lvl 18 (Surf, Strength, Rock Climb, Rock Smash), and a Sneasel lvl 35 (for foresight/false swipe). At the very end, I fought Cyrus. Then I realized that his Gyarados 2hko both my Infernape and my Togetic.
I had to backtrack my way to the entrance. *shudder*

Just discovered a new "IV man" here...
Although he calls himself as a "Judge", inside the Battle Tower (that Scientist-looking sprite)
Similar to the IV man in Emerald, he tells you in random (if your Pokemon have more than 1 flawless IVs)...
In Emerald, the IV man says like "It's flawless, a thing of perfection..." if one of your IVs is 31.
In Platinum, here, the "Judge" says like "It can't go any better than that" or something like that.

BTW, where will I post my contributions? (If someone hasn't posted like this one yet)

Entered B. Hall with Azelf, chose bug-type (I go in order of which they are listed). Oh, Pshhh, a Surskit? I can take it! (Note: I like reffering my Azelfs moves to PSI attacks from EarthBound, 'cuz I'm that much of a nerd) So, I yell PK Thunder (Thunderbolt)!
TOO SLOW! Signal Beam! Patchoo! Critical hit! Owned by a SURSKIT! Crap...
I didn't even know Surskit could learn Signal Beam...

I've been training a Monferno, who has been dubbed 'FryPanzee'. He's a Jolly guy, but sadly, he won't be sticking around much longer. Now in Eterna City, I've caught my first pokemon, a female Nosepass who shall henceforth be known as 'Lady Mucus'. With a Bold outlook on life, her defensive stats are something to admire. After backtracking and taking down puny youngsters and lasses by throwing rocks at their pets, I stormed the Eterna Gym, just barely managing to keep the Lady concious long enough to take out Turtwig and the demon spawn that is Cherrim.

Ok, after 6:30 hours in Route 201, I've finally reached Route 202. Right now I'm battling the second trainer there, Lass Natalie, with my lvl11 Chimchar. There, she's done. After (yet another) Bidoof encounter, I fight Youngster Logan. His Burmy is reduced to ashes with my Chimchar's Ember, now lvl12. I find a Potion in the ground, another Bidoof pops up, and I enter Jubilife City. Dawn gives me a tour around the city, when she sees someone I don't know...

Cleared Galactic out of Eterna. Made the mistake of not updating my party and went in to the boss battle with some low level Pokes. Dumb! Had to take on Skuntank with just my Grotle, thank goodness I had a bunch of potions. Skuntank's new animation is a gas (pun intended). Got my bicycle and Togepi egg. Now I'm going to backtrack and pick up items I can now access, and raise my Gastly to go to Fantina's gym.

Another question. How do you spread the pokerus?

I've currently training in Iron Mountain. I'm hoping to get high enough to take out the gym leader in Canalive City. I should bring in other pokemon to evolve it.
