In pokemon saphire, I found my fourth shiny pokemon, my first, second and third in respectful order being gyarados in gold, silver and cristal. It was a shiny male gulpin, that i found in the first patch of grass just on the northen exit of slateport. It had a sort of glitch-you'll see in a minuite ^^''-
A few years after i caught a shiny budew the hour +litteraly+ after recieving my pokemon diamond from japan ^_^ It was in a double battle in the forest, when i was escorting Cheryl... I got sooooooooo scared, she continuesly egg-bombed (i think, it was quite a while ago) the poor thing, then spent forever healing herself in battle(and thank goodness she did x_X) whilst i was thrashing the commun buneary, since you can't catch a wild pokemon in a double battle until the partener is K.O.ed =_= it had 2 HP left once it was caught... *_* close.
Then, I found the first part of my Gulpins glitch: once I recieved my copy of the english version of diamond, I transferred my gulpin to diamond, and When it evolved to Swalot, at lv.40, i didn't allow it to evolve prior - lovely b~button - It remained called Gulpin ?_? And didn't want for me to rename it after T_T,
anyway: Since then i caught a shiny Pinsir in the National park, Soul silver and a few days ago, in a mass outbreak near mt.moon, i find... a female shiny GULPIN o(X-x)o How ironique's that??? =_+
I raised her to lv.40, not letting her evolve (same level as my shiny Gulpin (male Swalot)and traded them both to pearl --Why? Well because i organised a lv.40 tournament only for pokemon pearl at my house 72 people turned up, and i came 19th x_X don't really stand a chance against blazikens and charizards...-- And had them euh... you know, in the day care they played together, and stuff...
It gave birth to ... A shiny Gulpin !!!!!!!!!!!! BUT HERES THE REAL GLITCH::: When it hatched i shouted aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah really loudly, and then after my sis comes running and asks me whats wrong, i thought: crap, i might aswell create a web page for shiny gulpin fans or something, i must be cursed or something ...
Because whrn it hatched, you know when it says Would you like to nickname the newly-hatched gulpin? it was shiny , blue with a ellongated orange horn-thingy, and was male so, i say no, and go to see it's stats and: ITS PICTURE, ON ITS SUMMARY, AND WHEN IT MOVES IS NORMAL COLORED!!! snot-green with yellow what-ever-the-thing-on-it's-head-is X_X!!!!
I rebooted - goodness knows why - and hatched it again, and the same thing happens time and time again! I filmed it so, if someone tells me how to upload pictures or vids and stuff, i'll upload it!
