Artistic Flair
My favourite out of the Pokémon that James Turner designed would be Naganadel, wishing him the best of luck on his new path in life.

Absolutely Absol

It's just Absol...
Ah, I really like Golett, Poipole and Sinistea lines.
Also, I like designs of Vanillite line because they aren't ice creams but snow covered icicles. lol

Good luck to him.

Leonhart

Imagineer
Admittedly, I didn't enjoy his contributions to Gen V since almost every Pokemon he designed for Black version and White version were unappealing to me. However I think him leaving Game Freak and starting his own gaming studio is bold, and I hope he succeeds.

Taodragon

Training Anaylst
I'm personally going to miss him. I'm not going to sit here and say every design he had was a hit (though I do feel people are too harsh on him over that), I did enjoy many of the Pokemon he did contribute to the series and some like Golurk, Obstagoon, and Naganadel I still personally think are great Pokemon. I wish him the best in his new endeavor and I hope his gaming studio does well.

Eh, ragazzo!
It's kind of gross how people are glad someone doesn't work at Game Freak because he designed Pokemon that they don't like.
He was the art director of Sword/Shield, so his importance was bigger than just a few select Pokemon.

I'm glad he has found work elsewhere, and Plucky Squire looks like a good game.

It's interesting to note that James Turner worked on Pokemon Colosseum and Pokemon XD while designing Shadow Lugia for the latter title.

The Orre/Shadow Pokemon games are interesting because they are the group of spin-offs that are close to the main series as far as the battling/capturing stuff goes, but are far away from them in terms of story and overall presentation.

Of course, Genius Sonority also worked on Dragon Quest Swords, which James Turner worked on as well as Toriyama of Dragon Ball fame

With the news on a Pokemon Presents coming August 3rd, I think besides Pokemon SV, we will get a new Unite character and a Pokemon Go event announcement. Those seem to be safe bets at this point. Maybe we'll get another mobile announcement, but I really want to hear about Detective Pikachu 2 (game).

Ace and Aspie, for life and light!

Given all the remakes of classic Pokemon, one of the only regions stuck on its original consoles is the Orre Region. I would love a remake bundle (or even a port) of Colosseum and XD: Gale of Darkness.

Ghost-Type Master
I'm trying to catch the SV news live, but this closing ceremony is taking forever to happen.

EDIT: Finally! lol
