Hey guys, I believe this was the REAL Pokemon anime series set in Paldea.

Not sure what you mean about the anime announcment, its the equivalent to Twilight Wings and Hisuian Snow. TPCi have decided to do more focused anime based off of the games while keeping their main series still all about marketing and merchandising

Though at least them gathering a team of super Pokemon to go to a special area sounds better than so-called "research" that was often an excuse for misadventures and Goh catching anything that moved (or didn't)

Honestly, I don’t think it was a good idea for next year’s Worlds to be in Honolulu.

Even if the wildfires in Maui weren’t a thing, I’ve been seeing people from Hawaii on Twitter & Instagram begging tourists not to come because there’s barely enough water & supplies for themselves. If a big event like this took place there it would make things 20 times harder for them

Yeah. The announcement and the timing came off as a bit insensitive.

Did Honolulu already host Worlds? Why not pick another location such as Las Vegas or Ontario? Las Vegas would be interesting and they could give out Pokémon that knows Happy Hour and Pay Day or even Gholdengo to represent the city. The event doesn’t need to be held in a casino because of the junior division having minors participating but a convention hall would suffice.

The decision to host Worlds in Honolulu was probably made before the Maui wildfires, but still, it was just bad optics to announce it now as the state faces 93 people dead and nearly six billion dollars in property damages. I think that they might end up changing locations due to the potential backlash I see to this.

Even if you don’t take the recent events in Maui into consideration, there’s been some controversy over tourism in Hawaii since the resorts are taking up most of the islands’ supplies and there’s hardly anything left for the people who actually live there.

An event like Worlds draining MORE of their supplies, on top of the recent wildfires, may end up doing Honolulu way more harm than good. The donation TPCI’s planning on doing definitely helps, but it’s more like slapping a piece of duct tape on a giant crack

I personally like Captain Jigglypuff’s suggestions of either Toronto or Vegas, especially the latter because of the event Gholdengo they could do along with it

Vegas is perfect. Gholdengo is perfect as an event Pokémon because of its design and how much of a pain it is to get enough coins to evolve Gimmighoul.

Pokémon is as iconic as Mario now, the only way it'll stop is if their sales are consistently flopping, which probably won't happen unless there's somehow a worldwide economic collapse.

Not to mention all of the different places in the world to use as inspiration for new regions. I feel like they've barely scratched the surface in that regard.

I have been quite enjoying the first two illustrations of the Voltage crossover project with Hatsune Miku. For those unfamiliar 18 illustrations will be published with her as different type specialists, done by 6 different artists(so probably 3 by each). The first is a Psychic one where she was teamed with Meloetta illustrated by take, and the second one is Grass teamed with Rillaboom illustrated by Megumi Mizutani. I like that they're actually using music-themed Pokémon and not just the most popular ones.

Also I guess I should mention that there will be music videos with songs that sample official Pokémon OST after the illustrations are done.

Also, Pokemon Company had created an Indian site for the game with over 800 Pokemon getting localised Hindi names.
