Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future

Hi all. We had a couple of reports of people's signatures getting edited etc. in a bad way. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and nobody has compromised any of our databases.
However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar passwords to elsewhere which has been accessed, people and even bots may be able to access your account.
We always recommend using unique passwords, and two-factor authentication if you are able. Make sure you're as secure as possible -

I really think it's just changing times. Nintendo didn't do this stuff with previous generations. So this only seems so huge because it's new to us. We've never received Pokemon news like this. I have no doubt this will be big news, but I doubt it's any bigger than previous generation reveals were.

Why is the countdown clock on the JP website counting down 30 hours? I thought the reveal was tomorrow. And it will be tomorrow in Japan in half an hour.

The fact that it'll be a global announcement about Pokemon and the 5th gen's time is slowly coming to an end, I think it's safe to assume it'll be big news.
It's at 8PM for Japan.
And for any Australian members, that's 10PM for us.

Well, my browser shows 21 hours and 28 minutes left (as of this post).
EDIT: The time bases it to your computer's system clock. Depending on where you live, the timers will vary but should aim to 8PM in Japan.

I said it will be big news. I'm just saying it feels like it's "zomg! Life changing Pokemon new!" Because it is being revealed in a way we've never experienced, because it wasn't around on previous generations. When it's time for the 7th Generation to come and a Pokemon Direct is announced, it won't be like this. We'll know exactly what is coming.

Mine says 29 hours. 29 hours from now in Japan will be 5am Wednesday (JST).
EDIT: Ooohhhh. This is counting down based on the time on my computer! So for me it's counting down till 8:00PM GMT. That is really weird.
