That would be awesome. A actual Pokémon Fighting game. I hope Voltorb is playable<3

Excitable Boy

is a metaphor
It's a stretch and a huge one at that, but could Pokken Tournament possibly be a WiiU crossover of Pokemon and Tekken ? Namco Bandai are already working alongside Nintendo on Smash Bros. We've already seen Pokemon and Tekken Crossover games. Iwata said a few Nintendo Directs ago that SMTxFE isn't the only crossover in the making.

That's what first leaped to my mind; it's no more ridiculous than any other ideas.

Though, it may just be a Pokemon game in the style of Tekken.

Because with X and Y going 3D and the series going Wi-Fi since gen 4 there really is no purpose to make a Staduim/Battle Revolution type game. As for Battle Revolution being subpar that's largely due to the fact the game was rushed to meet deadline.

The purpose is to make a game for the Wii U revolving around Pokemon. And for it to be HD quality graphics, and whatever else the Wii U is capable of that the 3DS isn't capable of.

This hypothetical game isn't going to be developed by Gamefreak, so I don't really see the point of saying it has no purpose or is unneeded.

I've always wanted a Pokemon fighting game with just Pokemon in the style Tekken (I guess) or even Super Smash Brothers. Granted not all Pokemon would be in it but maybe 5 per type for 90 options, maybe even including pre-evolutions/evolutions and some evolving mechanic or something.

Since we now have X/Y

And the poster had specifically said that it could be a Battle Revolution game for X/Y. We weren't talking about the original.

Just like has always been the case, the scale of battles that can be shown using a console differ greatly from those that can be shown on a handheld.

Kind of a big deal
I think this is new: If you preorder X or Y from Gamestop you get a double sided poster.

I think they've been doing it for a while, but with the Dialga event they sort of advertised it along side. When I went in to get Dialga I said the heck with it and just plopped down the money (even though I'm probably gonna get the game somewhere else)

The Poster is a LOT bigger than I though it'd be. Like, I was expecting some little babby mini poster, but it's like.. really big.

I wish I could go to Pax and play the demo. Hopefully they will come out for it on the eshop =D

So, a friend pointed me to a bit of merchandise earlier, officially licensed. I have now done some sleuthing and it's on more officially licensed products

Gotta catch 'em all is back

Dang it! I totally though Seattle would've been on that list. Although, there is California and Colorado...

It's limited by where the locations are for that mall chain.

But the malls they showed can't be the only kind of those malls in the US, otherwise the chain wouldn't be big enough! And there's tons of malls in Seattle! Oh well, though. The demo won't show anything that Serebii won't cover!

Gotta catch 'em all is back.

Makes sense if they are moving away from Ash and towards Red - we may finally have a trainer capable of "catching them all" (absent legendaries, I assume).

As someone who is still striving to "catch them all", I approve.

A one-off television special in Japan has nothing to do with the marketing slogan on American merchandise.

I thought an entire series was being added?
