Remember back in the day when you whipped out the original gamepack and played the 'awesome cool new thing"? Have you wanted to test out your competetive skills in the generation that preceded GSC and RS and eventually D+P? Well, this is the tourney for you.
By the way, WOW gave me permission to start this when UU is over in case you are wondering.
Rules and Guidelines (even if they are set in the challenge window)
-Sleep Clause ON
-Freeze Clause ON
-Self KO Clause ON
-PP Ups ON unless both players want them off
-Battle Timeout ON
-No Evasion or OHKO moves.
-You may not watch other people's battles if you are still in the tourney.
- The metagame is RBY UU because in standard people especially newer players tend to use the same pokemon, this way the tourney gets a bit more variety.
-That being said, the pokemon we are allowed to use are the UU pokemon by smogon tiers found here: http://www.smogon.com/rby/tiers. Bls are not allowed.
-This is true RBY, meaning no tradebacks from GSC. This also means that you can't have any moves that you cant get in RBY, but you can get in GSC through egg moves, tutor moves, or tms such as ice punch on electabuzz or razor leaf on vileplume.
Sign Up List: Will be either 16 or 32 people (15/31 if I decide to join). I doubt this will get to 32.
