So now that Bank is out I have some questions. Serebii mentions something involving the pokedex which I don't understand. Could someone clarify what hapens there (the thing mentioned on the Tuesday announcements)?

It also mentions transfering battle points and something about stats between 6 games. How does the battle point transfer work as well as the stats thing and are the 6 games X/Y/OR/AS/S/M?

Finally, will it also still work as it always did allowing for transfered gen 5 to banka dn then into gen 6?

BP transfer works exactly as the same it did with XYORAS. And yes, those plus SM are the six games in question.

The stupidest thing happened after I updated Bank. I still had my Battle Point/Miles reward I've stocked up for months and still had 100+ days on my membership remaining. However, all of my Pokemon I've collected from gen 3-6 are gone from Bank for absolutely no reason. Everything was fine a four days ago when I was transferring stuff from Gen 5 up.

Is there any way I can get my stuff back or am I SOL?

Have you never used the bank? Every time you go to use it, Bridget will tell you how many pokemiles you've built up and if you want to transfer them to your game as pokemiles or BP (I think every 10 pokemiles = 1 BP) or if you want to keep building them (until the next time you use bank).

It's a new menu option while viewing your boxes. Go to the pokedex screen and you can view the national dex or your adventure records. It tracks things like # eggs hatched, pokemon caught, pokemon fought and so on for each game associated with your bank.

You get them by having Pokemon sit in Bank; basically, you collect interest on them. If you've only been using Bank as a means of immediate transfer, they wouldn't be staying there long enough to give you anything.

That explains it. I keep my Bank empty. I guess now I gotta keep someone in there jsut to rack up bp. Man I've had this since like its release imagine all the freakin bp I'd have >.<

How much BP you get is relative to how many Pokemon you have in there, so sitting just a single Pokemon in there won't get you very far very quickly. I'm not sure what the exact science is, but I had somewhere around 35 boxes full from just before SM came out until tonight and when I booted up Bank I was able to send 303 BP to Moon.

Transporter is for Generation V to Bank, or Generation I Virtual Console to Bank. You might as well update it, because you might need it eventually.

If you're not dealing with the latter, all you need to do is update the Bank app. Find Bank in the eShop and the update page will be looking you in the face, or look at the eShop's list of titles you've downloaded and it will tell you there's an update available for Bank.

Normal can be found hidden on Route 15. All the others are still MIA.

I think, if the data is still there, hopefully they will release all of them this gen. I can understand it being there last gen in case they want to reintroduce them through event or something (and being the case this gen again), but if it's still in the code I hope they show up eventually.

i got a quick question regarding ORAS tutor moves. i sent over a SPA 5IV trapinch for my sun team but it was a hatched pkmn from many months ago and i didnt add any moves onto it. in my rush to bring it over to sun i forgot to add gigadrain on it. can i pass down giga drain if i breed it in gen7?

thank you for the reply. im crazy for Flygon so i do have other back pkmn with the tutor move and i still have the right pkmn and games to breed more of them. i'll probably breed another one later on but im sending my back up to gen7 now.'

can someone pls clarify the new rules to battle in the battle spot? i got Gardevoir, Gliscor, Arcanine, Lucario, Primarina and Flygon. 2 have healing items,each different : shell bell, lefties. i got no duplicate items and it says i have a problems with 1 or more of my team. im trying the free battle area where both gen7 title pkmn arent allowed.

though they are all pkmn that came from gen6 barring primarina. can i still use them in p2p battles? is the team even usable in battle spot? its no like i can breed duplicates, Flygon has the ORAS tutor move on it.

Perhaps a stupid question, but did you get the update off the eshop?

Assuming you have, Mewnium Z is given at the same time that she would tell you how many Pokemiles you've racked up and offer to send them over. I'm pretty sure that's not something you can grab without a subscription, though I could be wrong.

Is there some national Pokedex I was supposed to get that I missed? Because right now my Dex still only registers Pokemon in the original regional Pokedex and the Dex numbers for anything else don't appear.

Not in-game, no. The National Pokedex is tied to Bank as of its update last night, though all the benefits of trying to complete it (the Oval and Shiny Charms) are still available.
