Hi all
Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future

The National Dex is now part of Bank. It will not be added to Sun/Moon in-game or through updates.

Don't expect it to be added to these games via an update. Obviously we can't say for sure whether or not in-game National Pokedexes are a thing of the past now, but it's a definite possibility at least for Gen VII.

Basically, if you see all Pokemon in Alola Dex, you get Oval Charm which increases chance for Eggs to appear at Daycare. Shiny Charm increases chance of a Shiny to appear and you get it when you capture all Pokemon in the Alola Dex.
And no, there is no reason to expect an update for SM, National Dex will be for Bank only for the time being, they may change it once a new game comes out(But probably not).

You actually get the Oval Charm for defeating Morimoto at the GAME FREAK office in Heahea City. He will fight you at any point after beating the Pokémon League; it is not tied to Pokédex completion in any way.

can we even use the gen6 pkmn in p2p battles? i know battle spot wont accept gen6 pkmn yet or maybe it doesnt like my team. if i cant battle in battle spot then battle challenges are my only option to battle online. will my gen 6 pkmn ever be accepted in gen7 battles? i cant rebreed my Flygon in gen7 due to and ORAS tutor move.

go to the PKbank app on your ds. it should be an auto-prompt to update on start up of the app it if the eshop is up to date.

For some reason it refuses to let me use my Event Meloetta to battle online. Which is weird, because I got it completely through the event.
I'd think it was because event Pokemon but I've now battled with my Arceus, my Magearna, and even my event Snorlax.

I think I found a bug for bank will not let my legal breed trade over wonder trade >.> all egg moves are legal and the ball is legal unless someone knows what is going on my buneary is love ball ha with egg moves of fake out,ice punch,low kick,and encore. I don't know if they count transfer moves/oras move tutors a illegal but its a bit frustrating that I can't transfer something I legally breed >.<

I had the same issue with the Premier Ball HA Snivy as well. I also have Love Ball HA Ralts and they will likely be unable to trade. I hope this bug gets fixed soon...

Think they forgot to update the legality checker to account for Gen 7's new breeding mechanics (male/genderless Pokémon can pass on their Poke Balls when bred with Ditto and same species breeding gives the offspring a 50/50 chance to inherit either parents' ball) since your mentioned combinations would have being illegal in Gen 6. Hopefully a patch will be released to update the legality checker for the changes.

When you connect with Pokemon Bank, she will tell you how many Pokemiles you currently have accumulated and ask if you'd like to transfer them, and if so whether you'd like to send them as miles or BP.
