Hi all
Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future

Talk to the first girl on the right in the Festival Plaza castle.
For the Global Mission right now the count of number of Pokemon traded doesn't seem to be going up when I trade (I've checked immediately before and after), but my own record does. Does that just mean it takes a while for the big count to update or are my trades no being counted? I haven't been able to register my game with Global Link because of the broken log in so I'm worried.

The group number doesn't update right away. Not sure how frequent it updates, but probably at least every few hours.
Does anyone perhaps know or would be willing to test out, what happens if you are at low HP and use Destiny Bond on your opponent at the Battle Tree, being the last to move in that round?
Is the opponent smart enough to switch out/use a status move, or will they finish you off with a direct attack?

Looking at my PGL Profile, I'm missing a Z Crystal? Which one is it? and where is it?
Here are the missable Z-Crystals in the game and their locations.
Buginium Z - Shady House, near Guzma's throne
Psychicium Z - Haina Desert, one of the areas near the Solrock/Lunatone man and the Ruins of Abundance (go east after going north/south respectively)
Icium Z - Mt. Lanakila cave, at the east side
Flyinium Z - Ten Carat Hill, at the end of the Machamp Shove path
If you miss exclusive Z-Crystals, here they are (PGL won't record them though):
Pikanium Z - Konikoni City, talk to the lady with the Pikachu
Aloraichium Z - Seafolk Village, present an Alolan Raichu to the Veteran at the Steelix boathouse
Eevium Z - Royal Avenue, do the Kagetora sidequest at the Thrifty Megamart

I transferred all my Pokémon from Sun into Bank after the update and recieved the Mewnium Z, but i was transferring them so i could restart my game without losing them all. When i did restart the game and connect to Bank again (as it was a new/different file) i didnt get offered the Mewnium Z. Is it just gone forever now?
If you didn't claim the Mewnium Z before the restart, I think you can still get it as a Mystery Gift in the Pokémon Center. Otherwise, it's really gone for good.

i got a slightly confusing question here. i had just recently planted 18 berries last night and put some beans to help them out. there were 6 maranga berries and other 24-48hr berries. i can swear i had 51hrs left on the maranga berries and revisited the pelago after 4 hrs to see all the 18 berries were ready to pick. i also had 2 pkmn in the sauna with pretty good hapiness (last checked) when i revisted 4hrs late they were dizzy. i either had a big time skip to the pelago or does the sauna time even add up?? im still not sure what happened there but im happy the berries came out fast.

Had similar things happen for me(Nothing for the hot springs since I had nothing in there) this morning. Can't be 100% sure if something was up since I don't remember the time left but I did think it was strange that all my Berries were fully grown and that the Level Up was done already(I put it on the max 99) and was pretty sure some still would have had some time left. Also just saw someone else bring it up on another site.
Looking it up, seems to have happened to others as well. It seems they believe it has something to do with the change of the month(Not sure if every month or just January into February but seems to be the latter).

Given that a lot of Pokemon are currently being blocked from going online because of a bad hack checker, would my Sport Ball Scizor be allowed for the upcoming tournament? I'm not sure what the rules are regarding transfer Balls but the Scizor was bred on my Moon version so it's perfectly fine in that regard, it's just the Ball I'm not sure about as it isn't obtainable outside of Bank. Normally I wouldn't care but seeing as a lot of players were recently banned and because a lot of legit and legal Pokemon can't be used online I want to make sure I have time to get a different Scizor if need be.
I'd say the Scizor might be in for an issue due to the ball- since it's only from HG/SS. I think the ball type will flag in the check program

thanks, its a pretty nice little time skip to use if it works on the 1st of the month. atleast i know im not the only one to see this happen before.

I want to put up a team to the QR Code list on the Pokémon Global Link website. It's the team I used in the Alola Friendly, but I didn't play any Ranked battles until today. Will the win-loss records be updated to reflect whatever is current with it, or will it be stuck displaying 0-0 forever?
The AI is not consistent with that. Sometimes, they will purposely just use healing or stat-boosting moves until you run out of Destiny Bonds, and sometimes, they won't care that you're using Destiny Bond and continue to oppose you as normal. I have never seen the AI switch Pokémon when you use Destiny Bond, however.
When it comes time to register your team, the game will notify you in advance if you have ineligible Pokémon and won't let you use it. There will be a big half-cross over the Pokémon in question. (You know, that circle with a diagonal line through it you see with "No Smoking" signs and such.)

It also happened to me when I checked my Pelago first thing in the morning. I was really surprised that my Berries are grown and my UBs and Legends finished their training. I thought that I didn't save my game last night but my Pokémons' levels said otherwise.

yeah, cutting out 47hrs/23 hrs of waiting does help alot. its just something to be aware of when the month changes next march.
in order to register my game online with PGL, i presume i will need to tie it in with a email account? im just making sure i got all the books inline for the competitions with the mega stones.

Anyone know why Pokemon Yellow Pikachu might be forbidden from online battles? I tried using mine and it turned out it refused to let me. Most other gen 1s, aside from the legendaries work fine, even with HAs on all of them.
You will need a Pokémon Trainers account in the main website in order for you to log in the PGL, which you definitely need an email address to register.
