Official Wii First Impressions/Photo Thread

For all you lucky people who now have a Wii, here's the place to post your first impressions of playing Nintendo's new console. We'd also much appreciate it if you can post some pictures of your Wii and the features.

One question I'd like to ask is:
What is the online service like? No one knows too much about it, so we'd love someone to clarify it. Oh and what about the Opera Browser?

Hey, hope this isn't considered spam...but I'd just like to ask what exactly is this Opera Browser? What's it for? What's it do?

Oh, and also, I'll be getting my Wii in just a few hours, so I'll post back here when I get the chance.

Man, you guys are so lucky... In New Zealand we go Wii on Dec. 7th. Ah well, I can wait. At least I will know what games to get because all the reviews will be decided. *sarcasm*And we ALL know Twilight Princess is going to get a 2.7 */sarcasm*

Well I don't have the Wii yet since it is released December 7th here (I pre-ordered at Toys R Us) but I played it at a special Nintendo Party I won a ticket to. The party was on October 30th so some changes may have occured but for Wii Play I found the control very sensitive which took some time getting used to.

Zelda was very fun though the graphics were sorta average since it was meant to be a Gamecube game. I thought the Numchuk was the shield but shaking it actually made Link use the sword.

I got it today. I was very impressed with it. The Wii-mote were smaller than I thought! I was expecting the Wii console itself to be light, but it's heavier than I thought. Sorry, I don't have any photo. ^_^;

You will not develop carpal tunnel in just a matter of 24 hours. Hell, why would you even play a whole day straight?

The Wiimote is light enough for you not be really feel it, I would say hold a TV remote to find out but I don't know how big yours are.

When I played it, you don't notice it in your hand so you wont get tired holding it.

I saw a trailer where some maids of nintendo factory where Wii was provided, they steal some Wii and games on it for free!!!!!!!

Oh and what about the Opera Browser?

FRom what I have heard, from Nintendo of Australia, the Opera browser isn't avaliable to download at launch. Due to the fact that Nintendo are trying to persuade them to make it free.

This is just Australia though :/

You can tell the online isn't going to be good as the PS3's or 360's because not one of the launch games go online.
