    Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
    Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
    Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.
  • Hi all. We had a couple of reports of people's signatures getting edited etc. in a bad way. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and nobody has compromised any of our databases.

    However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar passwords to elsewhere which has been accessed, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

    We always recommend using unique passwords, and two-factor authentication if you are able. Make sure you're as secure as possible

hi there guys, can someone just help me get a gliscor and weavile in my pokedex? illtrade them back, i just need kalos born weavile and gliscor to complete my dex and get that shiny charm, lol.

Also Pokemon don't have to be Kalos-born to get the Oval and Shiny Charms.

Does anyone know if there's like a Trainer List and what pokemon that they have in battle and location? I'm thinking some of the Pokemon I'm missing in my dex is because I haven't battled some people, and was curious if there was.

The Celebi that comes from PokeBank is shiny-locked. As far as I'm aware, the only possible way to get a shiny Celebi is through the Ilex Forest GS Ball event in Crystal (if that event was shiny-locked, someone can correct me), but it's impossible to trade Gen I and Gen II Pokemon to Gen III and on. Therefore shiny Celebi should be illegal everywhere.

I feel like I've seen a list of that before, but if I have, I don't know where. This was all I was able to find.

Nah, I've stopped playing as much I did a few years ago. Some thing until last year, actually kept in these forums a lot more, and threads like this one.

As far as I can tell, Ilex Forest GS ball Event can be shiny, but it's really hard.

There is a Japanese Bonus Disk for Pokémon Colosseum which is able to send it's Celebii to X&Y. It being shiny is up for debate but it the only Celebi that I know can be shiny

Can a pokemon learn an egg move from a pokemon that can get that move only as an egg move? Say a charmander had dragon dance ( which I think is an egg move but if not you get my point). Could it pass it to another pokemon?

Yes. It's something known as Chain Breeding.

Yup, as of Pokemon X/Y, catching Pokemon is the same as defeating one. Pokemon get experience points after a capture, and any Pokemon that got experience points also gets the corresponding EVs.
