Old School Kojirou

Drew this about an hour ago.

I say "Old School" not because it looks especially like the older style of the show, because it doesn't, but because he hardly ever does his rose poses anymore. Makes me sad, it does.

If you've seen any of my previous work, you'll probably notice that I did considerably more shading on this piece than I've attempted in the past, and I thought it turned out nicely. Not exactly what I had envisioned, but I'm pleased with it all the same.

It indeed turned out very good! Yeah, I also miss him do his pose with the rose. Kinda sad, really... He looks sad too... But anyway, this is a good piece of art! ^^

I don't get the deal with roses. Personally I think they smell terrible.

Nice to see you using more shading.. though you need a blending stump. >< I'll give you one of mine. The eyes look a tad small, though that could just be me. Good job though.

Very nice drawing indeed, I like your shading style, it kinda makes me feel sad how I can't do decent-looking shades... but that's a whole different thing. The only thing I could complain is that the eyes seem peculiar, I think it's because either they are too small, or to me they seem too sharp instead of more curved/smooth, but I guess that's part of the style. Keep it coming.

Yeah, the eyes were supposed to be not fully open. I suppose a couple more lines in the right spots could have made it work better...
