Back in the NES and SNES days, I was too young to know what an RPG was. The NES was already 3 years old when I was born...

NES:
Super C
Ironsword: Wizards and Warriors II
Battletoads
Super Mario Bros. (I have yet to play a game I like more)
Legend of Zelda (I just used Game Genie and ****ed around)
Snow Bros.
Blades of Steel (Best hockey game ever made, and possibly the first game to have voice)
Bubble Bobble

I want to play a Mega Drive someday... didn't Sega mention possibly having some of their classics on the Rev?

And that Alien Soldier has some of the best box art I've ever seen.

I still own an SNES, and I play it all the time. Back when I first received it (a year or so after it came out), I just bought a bunch of platformers and played through those. Later, I began buying RPGs after being exposed to the always-awesome Secret Of Mana. These are the games that I still own:

- Super Mario World
- SMW 2: Yoshi's Island
- Mario Paint
- Mario Is Missing
- Street Fighter 2 Turbo
- Donkey Kong Country
- DKC 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
- DKC 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble
- Secret Of Mana
- Final Fantasy IV
- Final Fantasy VI
- Dragon View
- Killer Instinct
- Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past (I actually have two copies of it)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 4: Turtles In Time
