The typical "third game" is not always a direct sequel if I recall. Like was Crystal a sequel to Gold/Silver? I do not recall. Was Emerald a sequel to Ruby/Sapphire? I do not think it was. Platinum? Different storyline.
BW2? Sequels, basically.

I actually do exploring and thus found them, but apparently a lot of people didn't even know they existed do to their odd location

As for getting the fossils, I am not really sure. They could keep it like the originals, with the whole "grab one and let the other sink into the desert" thing.
Or they could incorporate Emerald's idea, being able to get both.
Who knows?

Another thing I'm hoping for in these games is that the pokemon league is as challenging or even more challenging than the Sinnoh league. Cynthia was by far the toughest champion imo. The Kalos league was a joke.

I hope they keep the fossils the same - it's one of the great things with Pokémon, only getting one of the fossils and having to trade to get the other one on your Pokédex.
I suppose so.
Of course with the enhanced internet capabilities and Pokebank, both fossils would be quite easy to obtain.
I do see your point though. Getting only one makes the decision more difficult.

I always liked how you could only get one fossil in the game. Fossil Pokemon don't even feel rare anymore.
Well, in RS, you can only choose one. But in Emerald, you can get both. Obtain the first one at the Mirage Tower, then get the other one you didn't pick on the Desert Underpass post-game. I dunno which one they will follow. But I agree that fossils aren't as rare nowadays.
On a different note, the Desert Underpass is ideal for collecting National Dex Fossil Pokemon.

I always liked getting past (or later) fossils, so that sounds like a good place to obtain them.

Im pretty sure that Zygarde will go the way of kyurem and get a Powerful new form in the third game. Seriously its pokedex entry sounds like a plotline for Pokemon Z ''When the Kalos region's ecosystem falls into disarray, it appears and reveals its secret power.''
Back on topic the elite four on ORAS should have a decent difficulty because unlike the recent games, in the originals you battled the elite four from weakest to strongest and they have five pokemon. Its a lot more of a challenge when the elite four are done that way. But I don't think we will get a champ as hard as cynthia for a while. You can put a bunch of good pokes on a team and the team can still suck, but with her team it just worked together like perfect synergy. I would like to see the elite four have some new pokemon on their roster because have you noticed that the hoenn elite four members have duplicants on their team. Especially Phoebe and Glacia.

You can blame the Hoenn Dex for that. Even Steven suffers from the lack of Steel types.

(Despite its lack of Elite Four types, I still love it).
As for the Elite Four themselves, I would not be surprised if their teams were kept the same, to stay true to the originals.
But if they changed things up a bit, I would be fine with it.
