Hmm well, in the story it didn't say specifically that it had to hit the Earth and destroy everything, so there is still possibility, but very unlikely, could create just a few. Not a lot.

It wasn't directly stated because it didn't really need to be. There are stones in the earth > the Weapon impacted Kalos > hitting the earth as we saw > irradiating the rocks in the earth. It's as simple as it can possibly be.

The biggest thing they need to correct is the rival situation. Seriously the not having a full team and not even evolving what pokemon they did have was stupid.

I hope so too, it was disappointing not getting to battle Brendan/May with a full team, and Wally coming out of nowhere at the end of the game felt like a really cheap substitute for that. We should see more of both of them.

Keep the Trick House(with upgrades of course).

OMG, I completely forgot about the Trick House, it's never been brought back since Emerald. Which is a shame, it's such a neat feature. Anyway, the biggest gripe I have with the Trick House is the lack of replayability, once you're done, that's it. Maybe they could make this work with Spotpass so you can download new puzzles, and maybe give some kind of incentive for replaying them.

A big one for me is gym leader team updates. This is one thing that disappointed me about HG and SS, they pretty much keep the exact same teams.

HGSS needed it more because the gym rosters failed to take advantage of their options (there were far too few Johto Pokemon in the gym rosters). This is not the case with the Hoenn gym rosters, I can't see them changing the rosters significantly unless they add new Pokemon to the Hoenn Dex.

Keeping the PokeNav and trainer rematches is also something I really hope returns. If not, then at least bringing back the VS Seeker.

They're probably not going to cut the PokeNav, that was a significant feature in the originals. They'll probably bring back Match Call for trainer rematches.

Yeah, but it did affect a small area when Lysandre launched it so there could be few more, not a lot like 10. Just a little bit like 3 or 4 maybe. Also we don't fully know if we have discovered ALL mega stones from the blast that affected the world 3000 years ago.

Was Wally a full battle or did he only have 5, I can't remember lol??

Ya, more puzzles would be awesome. I just liked how it was like a second set of gyms(minus the leaders). Plus they were just fun.

Well there is room for improvement, for instance, let's look at Roxanne's gym. The fact that she only has one Hoenn rock type plus Geodude is way underwhelming.

They can add Aron or one of the fossil first forms for instance to make it a little more challenging.

I mean the rematches specifically not the nav. The reason I say this is because the last two regions have all but removed the trainer rematches.

It's not going to happen but I'd love it if keeping with the island hopping adventure theme they went through and made it so that all Pokemon that could learn Surf (and the other water HMs) had over world riding models like Lapras does in XY. It'd be a ton of work but the payoff would be awesome.
This probably won't happen either but I'd love it if they ditched most of the maps and made more open areas based on the original maps. The early Pokemon games in particular had a very hallway feel to them but I think Hoenn would be perfect for wide open spaces. Hoenn as a region has that sort of holiday vibe to it Wind Waker had where you just want to stand in the sunshine and enjoy the view.
Replacing the Safari Zone with a series of Pokemon Snap-like levels placed throughout the world (accessible post-game) would be amazing. I really doubt that'll happen but I can dream. =P

Lastly there's the general thing I want for all Pokemon games - the ability to preselect the next rounds action up while the animations are playing out. So while Charmander and Squirtle are on the top screen executing the commands they've been given my battle command menu is still up and I can select the actions for the next round and have them issued the instant the current round ends. It'd remove the pauses making the battles much more cinematic but if you want to stop and think about your moves you still can without having to go into the menus.

All that said I'd be happy with just straight ports of Gen I-V in eShop exclusive form as long as they're Poke Bank compatible.

[Edit: It'd also be awesome if some of the additions made to the engine in ORAS can be patched into XY.]

It might've been 5 actually, now that you mention it.

In theory, maybe, but I guess they didn't think it would be appropriate to introduce those Pokemon so early. Aron would kind of throw you off guard because of its Steel type and the only way you'd be adequately prepared for it is if you traded for the Makuhita. As for the fossils? IDK, maybe they just didn't want to show off the fossils that early.

Yeah, I don't get that at all. It's such an important part of the game, why remove it?

Hopefully, the existence of Trainer's Eyes/Match Call will remind them of that.

He only had five Pokemon in R/S, which I hope gets changed in OR/AS. I also hope his Gardevoir Mega Evolves in these games.

The nice thing about Wally's team is that his Magneton and Roselia can evolve now too. Also proper rival battle theme for him. Hopefully his Delcatty gets replaced, though, it kinda seemed out of place to me. Altaria and Gardevoir are obviously okay, but I'd rather not see Altaria again after just seeing them in X/Y. And then add something to give him a team of 6 post-game, kinda like Serena/Calem got Clefable. I really don't want to see them pull a HG/SS Silver and not evolve his Pokemon for no explainable reason, though.

Wally can either have a Mega Gardevoir or he could ditch Gardevoir for Gallade. I would prefer him with Gallade honestly.

Which is stupid really, if you can get six, your rival should be able to too.

That's fine and dandy then, however, these aren't new pokemon anymore so they aren't newly introducing them anymore.

Actually you had access to Mudkip, Wingull, and Marill(Emerald, can't remember if he was in R/S.), all of which could take on Aron. Combusken too.

This is part of what made BW hard for me, they had very little battling so you were stuck fighting Audino to level up.

XY I can forgive due to the EXP share but still.

This. My ideal remake would keep Wally as the main rival and eliminate Brendan and May.

I'd like to see Wally evolve his Kirlia to reflect you the player. If your playing as Brendan, he'll evolve it into Gallade, if you play as May, he'll evolve it into Gardevoir, making it a kind of tribute to the person who helped him catch it in the first place.

Some mega evos that I'd like to see or I think could be possible.

Sceptile
Swampert
Sableye
Swalot
Sharpedo
Torkoal
Grumpig
Seviper
Cacturne
Camurpt
Slaking

Note we have 12 Mega's already present in the games. At least if it maintains most the Hoenn dex from the originals.

These so bad.
Also:

-Shiftry
-Zangoose & Seviper
-Flygon
-Salamence & Metagross
-Tropius
-Altaria

Since Wally only had 5, one thing I'd like to see from him is both Mega-Gardevoir and Gallade. Because that would just be cool, especially if they were able to work it into the story.

Aura Flare Riolu

Cutest Riolu around!
One thing we'll likely to see is an expanded Hoenn Dex. I was thinking like 400 and split into 2 Dexes. West and East Hoenn. (East of Mauville and Slateport starts the East part of Hoenn)
An expansion is needed. I mean look at the Elite Four. Several of them use the same Pokemon in the same evolutionary line. Phoebe uses 2 Dusclops, 2 Banettes and a Sableye (Shedinja could have easily fit in there) while Glacia uses the only 2 Ice type evolution lines in the whole game: 2 Glalie, 2 Sealeo and a Walrein who evolves from Sealeo... Drake has both Shelgon and Salamence and 2 Flygons in R/S (Replaces 1 for Kingdra in Emerald)

Adding to the types that are lacking is needed.

Normal: 24 (12 fully evolved)
Fighting: 11 (6 fully evolved)
Flying: 21 (13 fully evolved, 1 legendary)
Poison: 17 (8 fully evolved, 9 if you count Roselia)
Ground: 22 (8 fully evolved, 9 if you count Rhydon, 1 legendary)
Rock: 19 (9 fully evolved, 11 if you count Nosepass and Rhydon, 1 legendary)
Bug: 16 (10 fully evolved)
Ghost: 6 (3 fully evolved, 4 if you count Dusclops)
Steel: 12 (4 fully evolved, 5 if you count Magneton, 2 legendaries)
Fire: 10 (5 fully evolved)
Water: 46 (22 fully evolved, 1 legendary)
Grass: 21 (9 fully evolved, 10 if you count Roselia)
Electric: 13 (6 fully evolved, 7 if you count Magneton)
Psychic: 28 (13 fully evolved, 4 legendaries)
Ice: 6 (2 fully evolved, 1 legendary)
Dragon: 10 (4 fully evolved, 3 legendaries)
Dark: 10 (7 fully evolved)

And because it's relevant now...
Fairy: 10 (4 fully evolved)

Ice and Ghost definitely need more members.

I'd like to see Gym Leaders/E4 roster changes... like for example I can see Norman as the Hoenn Champion considering how at the beggining of the originals he was on the news and stuff. Or someone to take Watson's place as gym leader even if its a new character or something.

I really hope we get more use out of the Space Station other than Team Magma stealing rocket fuel to blow up Mt. Chimney. Give it some sort of use, like Jirachi or Deoxys.

Obviously, like many of you, more Megas, pokes I believe deserve a Mega would be the other 2 starters, Metagross, Milotic, Flygon, Arcanine and pleeeeease oh please a Johto starter Mega, prefferably Typhlosion but Feraligatr would be nice too.

Since it's going to be a remake, not a sequel then I guess we'll be stuck with pretty much the same storyline but I can really see some improvements to it regarding Team Magma/Aqua like making their conflict with some more passion in key encounters like the sea cavern and Mt Chimney or Mt Pyre...

Different pokedex... having 3 more generations since RSE should make the gym leaders and E4 more challenging since it would give them more variety regarding their party, it would be nice to see Glacia with more pokes other than 2 Sealeos and 2 Glalies, or Phoebe with something else other than a team full of Bannettes and Dusclops, and even Drake with more dragon types in his team! Its amazing how the weakest E4 member is the one that doesnt have 2 of the same pokemon in his team #RespectSydney lol

The battle frontier should return but I really want to see the PWT in there too so why not change the Battle Dome for the PWT?

Another region, I really loved GSC because I could go to Kanto and play through it, sure not without a storyline but it really felt good, it gave me something to do after beating Lance and I really hope they add another region... i know it wont happen cuz if not then it wouldnt exactly be a remake now would it? But I really wish GF would freaking hear my prayers and do as I say. Since its kinda obvious that wont happen since we already would have the Battle Frontier to explore after the credits roll, I wouldnt mind seeing at least the Sevii Islands return or add a few more routes that have some sort of backstory to it that are linked to other regions like Sinnoh or Unova...

Rival enhancements should be made, Brendan/May and Wally just didnt do good, I mean you cant even see Brendan/May's starter fully evolved -.- more frequent rival battles would be nice and throw Wally in the mix! You only get to battle him once before facing him in Victory Road.

I think thats all I would ask for in a remake... and I know this really isnt exactly on topic but thinking about all of this made me think about the endless possibilities on a RSE sequel like for example, to name a few like seeing the Admins trying to put the teams back together (Neo-Magma/Neo-Aqua), Phoebe being in charge of guarding the orbs instead of her grandparents, Tate and Liza having a big rple on the Space Station being all grown up and stuff... you know, mix things up a little, it would be super fun to see a sequel, but anyways its safe to assume or say OR/AS will be remakes
