Is it just me or we will have adouble battle against tabitha and matt? I cant really make out if thats 2 seperate scans

Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future

Hi all. We had a couple of reports of people's signatures getting edited etc. in a bad way. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and nobody has compromised any of our databases.
However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar passwords to elsewhere which has been accessed, people and even bots may be able to access your account.
We always recommend using unique passwords, and two-factor authentication if you are able. Make sure you're as secure as possible -

Currently theres no actual way of knowing. However, the official page/youtube channel usual updates with the info shortly after Coro Coro's street date so, we should get info in that regard at that point.
Genuinely shocked.
That would be a pain. Though, they're yet to keep any MStone exclusive to one region, so I would expect to see it given an alternate distribution at some point in the games life. Assuming we dont get the demo in the west that is.

Considering it sounds like there's actual THINGS tied to the demo, I would be incredibly surprised if we didn't get it.

Well I hadn't been interested in the demo until this information came out. Now back to my original debate of whether to get a Japanese 3DS and not be able to afford the games immediately or not. (Insert stream of expletives here). I'm now really hoping they release the demo outside of Japan. I'm not sure whether to think they'll be showing off one of the Megas we've already heard of or if they're specifically holding one back for the demo. (Not counting whatever they hold back in general for the game itself).

well they said we'll be seeing a mega for the first time in the demo. unless they're being smart asses and throwing a mega we simply haven't used at us, then it means it's an all new mega. I'm wondering how many new megas they'll be giving us this time around. I'm betting the same amount as XY

I completely missed that line. I'd guess either one or two depending on the special thing they're hinting at for playing the demo every day. One we'll see in the demo and possibly one more as a prize for playing it. I don't know if they'd give away any more unless they're not giving some of the stones in-game and this is going to be the only way to get them (as others have mentioned).
Edit: misread your comment, too. I need to go to bed, lol. Anyway I'd actually been wondering how they're gonna divide up the X/Y stones (Charizard and Mewtwo) or if we're not going to get the XY stones in game. I'm guessing that around the same amount would be believable. To many would be overwhelming unless half became version exclusives.

So let me get this straight. The demo happens at Mossdeep. Steven is involved in the demo in Mossdeep (in Emerald you could fight alongside him). There is a picture of Matt and Tabitha in a double battle against you (which indicates you might have to face both teams even if its one battle). So it looks like we are getting Emerald material
The narrative of the demo should not be assumed to be similar to the actual games' in any significant way. I am sure that we all remember the XY demo wherein Sycamore gifted you with a Mewtwo holding its Mega Stone?
Moreover, even Emerald does not feature a Double Battle against Matt and Tabitha.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but does anyone know what the part with the starters, poochyena, zigzagoon, wurmple and some of the other "early" pokemon is talking about? Just wondering and I can not read Japanese lol.

They never did, but I think he's referring to the fact that both teams were villains in that game.
The tag battle between the two kinda represents that.
I suppose, but with the only other evidence being "it's in Mossdeep" and "Steven is in Mossdeep too," it seems quite a stretch to me to assume that it is a tribute to Emerald. If that is what the were going for, then... that's a very vague and superficial tribute, and I don't even really see the point in calling it one by then.

Yeah I was wondering the same thing but figured it may just be a demo feature to showcase the two teams within a single version of the demo rather than making a specific demo for OR and another demo for AS but I could be completely wrong.
I know you never fight both teams in Emerald, besides the scan looked as though Matt and Tabitha were in a cave. On to Steven, in Emerald he was in Mossdeep in the original R/S but he was never seen in front of the Space Center, unlike in Emerald where you team up with him and fight Team Magma in a double battle. But we'll see, I personally do think that in ORAS we will fight one of the teams at the Space Center exclusive to the respective games.
