I see that the difference is much greater. It's just differences in sound hardware in both the GBA and the 3DS.

Yes. Hardware limitations.

In GBA, the instruments are emulated. In the 3DS, the songs are streamed thus keeping the real sound of the instruments.
If the GBA tracks were not emulated but instead played using actual instruments used for ORAS, I'm sure it would sound similar, too.

Oh man, I LOVED ORAS's soundtrack. Wally's battle theme, Zinnia's encounter theme and her battle theme... All of them were amazing to me. Sky Pillar made me flip from nostalgia, and Archie/Maxie's base drop was incredible. The Deoxys battle remix was also quite the nice throwback. My favorite song though, is probably the Soaring theme during the day.
I also agree with the idea of setting battle themes for secret bases! I'd love to have Wally's theme playing while people battle me, and while I battle others!

I absolutely loved the meteor falls and sky pillar theme. That sky pillar theme brought back so many nostalgic memories of playing Emerald. I also really liked Zinnia's battle theme, it felt so energetic and complex! Also I agree with the previous poster, that base drop man.

A lot of the ORAS music was similar with the originals, but Fortree was certainly slightly different with the original theme. The artists/composers changed the tempo, added/modified/removed instrumentation but they certainly added quality, but didn't sound as nostalgic as the original themes. For some reason (because of Altaria), I had started to like Lisia's Theme.

The Battle Resort music was good even though I dislike how it wasn't the Battle Frontier.

Yeah I wanted it to feel nostalgic by reintroducing the brass instruments and make it a bit slower to make it sound like a better remix, so I enjoyed the original Battle Frontier theme more.

Imo, "Rival's Theme" (Wally's Battle Theme), "The Heirs to Eternity" (The theme that plays in the Delta Episode when you see but not fight Zinnia), and of course, "Battle! (Lorekeeper Zinnia)" (self explanatory) are the best. Just saying, I applaud Nintendo and their musicians for composing these pieces.

Only if we were able to play these during Wifi-Battles...

Armored Legend
I really enjoyed the entire soundtrack of OR/AS, felt that it had much better remade music compared to HG/SS. I ended up buying the whole thing on iTunes. Specific ones I enjoyed the most were new ones like "Coexistence," "Azoth," "Let's Go Home," soaring music and everything relating to Zinnia.

Wally's battle music sounds amazing it's so intense and signifies his growth I think and I also like Zinnia's battle music. I didn't like the revamped RSE music in these games as much however. ^^

Pokémon Master
ORAS music is outstanding. Everything was pretty much done right.

What bothers me though, is the exclusion of some RSE tracks. Mauville Casino is closed, but they could've used the music somewhere else I think.

Also, the Battle Pike, Factory, etc all those missing.

I was thinking, couldn't all the missing tracks be includes just to listen to, even if not for their original features? Or.would that be too much extra programming?
