I've decided to write a contestshipping fic thanks to a LOT of inspiration from everyone. It's a twist (a BIG one..) on the Butterfly Lovers (A chinese folk story). Originally, I wanted to make it a oneshot, except now I realize how much I can develop the characters and have the characters grow closer, etc etc. I COULD make it a oneshot, though it'd be a very long oneshot. Or, I could make it into chapters, but since the story itself isn't very long, it would probably be at maximum, 4 chapters.

So what does everyone else think? Super long oneshot vs Chapters (little amount.)

Or maybe parts, acts, since those cover a bit more. ^.^ One-shots and Chapters don't sound like the right thing. myabe something like Part One, part Two, and Part Three. :)

Hush, keep it down
Ratiasu's got a good point. Long fics like mine take better form in chapters, while simple quickie dramas are better done in one-shot.

But if you fall in the middle, I'd say that 'acts' is an agreeable term to use.

I've decided to write it in Acts/Chapters. First chapter is already up! I had been planning this since last night so it was quite easy for me to get everything out. I should be studying Geometry though...

Everyone fails this guy's class. T_T

Meh, I know you've done it, but I think a short-story one-shot would have been better. Keep in mind that a short story can be anywherr from 3 to 100 pages-- don't worry about lengh. *shrug*
