We know this game is going to be online... so what are you looking forward to regarding the online side of the game? Obviously online battles will be awesome, and im hoping for a option to setup huge tournaments using online players. i think that event pokemon will be available from this, as well as bonus's using the ds and wiis connectivity. i wonder if you could battle D/P with this game over online? So, what do you all think? what would you like to be able to do with online? Discuss.

P.S, on the pics there is trainers from the advance games... does this mean that D/Ps advance compatability will extend to uploading to the wii as well as D/P?

I think it will be possible to link up d/p maybe even the older (3 gen ) games to this game and go online, furhermore the only big thing from online battling is that you don't have to fight computers but real persons, don't think you will get the event pokemon that way, since it would be strage to only "give" good/strong trainers event pokemon.

yeah mini-games would be fun. and maby a high score table for each game (personal and worldwide)

Thats really great for the people that would like to go to events, but can't because its too far away! Awesome.

It think you misunderstood, i meant that event pokemon be made available via online, not just if you win a tournament

Id like online mini-games. And online battling would be good too.

If online battling does come though, im still gonna play Netbattle more as it is clearly better imo.

Yeah... but i hope it will enable trading from D/P to the wii over wi-fi, like if my friend only owns battle rev, and i only own pearl, then i can trade pokes to him over wi-fi.

How is netbattle better than the real thing? I always found it to be rather unbalanced.

yeah I misunderstood, I thought you win those pokemon in tournaments :p.
but yeah it could be cool, I hope the will make it with a quest where you can maybe upload your pokemongame and take the quest just like mount battle in col. but then not with so much trainers and more adeventure, to get an event pokemon.
