Only REAL Answers Please! How Do You Get Mew In FR?

Heard about getting it by:
- Getting all the pokemon
- Visit Oak and he will be attacked by Mew
- Battle/Capture Mew
- Oak will thank you by giving you Unknown Pass
- Visit Bill and he will tell you that theres a ultra rare pokemon located
- Bill takes you out and you'll battle/capture celebi

But is this true or some else answer?? ;224;

You can't. In Emerald you can, at World's Edge Island. Then you can trade it to Fire Red/Leaf Green.

If you are in America (like you're location says) and there is a convention on you could probably get it there although i wouldn't know 'cause in Australia we don't get events.

Oh. Okay. Thanks! But, SilverLugia, how do you get to World's Edge Island? I mean... like... I just got my FR and dont get most of the things but beated elite 4 and got the ruby/sapphire plates...

u get a old map or what ever its called from a wonder spot or mixing records with sum 1 who has 1

World's Edge is in Emerald, NOT FIRE RED. Read the posts.

In Japan, they have wonderspots that allow them to upload Mew directly to your FR/LG cartridge, but you live in America, so you need Emerald, AND you need the Old Sea Chart from a Nintendo event.

To clarify, there have been events to give out Mew in Japan, but NOT in other parts of the world, so Mew is unobtainable to us in the US without a cheating device. We'll just have to wait for Nintendo to hold an event here.
