I would take ninjask, e-vire and gengar, i just beat the elite 4 with ninjask and evire, lol ninjask is at level 61 and e vire is at 64

Alakazam - My favorite Poke
Venasaur - My First poke and first level 100
then either Vaporeon or Magmortor. They round out the last non-rare candy spam attaining level 100. Vaporeon was my eevee evolution and Magmar was in Silver.

Man that brought me back to the old days, when my red team was Venasuar, Vileplume (replaced by Charizard), Vaporeon, Hitmonlee (replaced by Zapdos and then Mewtwo), Pidgoet, and Raichu...good times.

If it were a sort of traveling team, it would likely need to involve:

Arcanine, for transportation, Lucario, for battling, and Togekiss, for flying and such.

Yeah.

If not Lucario and Togekiss, probably Ivysaur and Porygon-Z.

I would probably 2 sweepers with lots of coverage and a way to support them both somehow or a tank who could switch into various threats. Seems difficult, even though this is exactly what 3v3 is all about.

for a team consisting out of 3 i would use dragonite, gardevoir & absol.
but that is just personal preference i often use those.

My 3 would be:

Abra - my all time favorite pokemon, especially in the days of Silver and Gold when the elemental punches were still special based.

Arcanine - Second favorite pokemon.

Lapras - for general transportation and a pretty effective HM slave if needed.
