Opera browser renders website poorly?

In Opera web browser, serebii.net shows white borders instead of the normal black ones. And Marriland looks... well, take a look.

Marriland looked normal on someone else's computer in opera and we have the same os and architecture. So... why do these sites look so weird?

All browsers have different defaults, particularly for old school HTML, which serebii seems to use. So it's probably just the colour isn't specified or something else overrides it.

Yeah, this applies to me too. The white frames in Serebii don't bother me, though. Actually, I've never noticed them.

I'm using Opera 11 (latest build etc.) for Ubuntu, and I have no idea what it lookes like in Windows. Marriland is unusable, though. It looks like it's a mobile browsers' layout.
