Operation Chimera - Trinity of Darkness

Avenger Angel

Warrior of Heaven
You guys are good to go, thanks for jumping in!

What exactly are the rules for when players from opposing factions encounter each other?

Usually, I would go by these guidelines.

  • Allow your character to take injuries. Anything from cuts, bruises, and the like is fine. I'm not expecting people to start losing limbs over this or suffer devastating, permanent injuries. But don't be dodging absolutely everything, that just gets lame. Having to heal up after a fight isn't such a bad thing. This isn't like football where a bad injury means your character is out for the rest of the season. Assume medical supplies are better and heal faster (but not instantly, meaning they can't be used in the middle of a fight).
  • Be fair and be realistic. Give people a chance to respond, and don't say your attacks hit, unless you're attacking NPCs, or you're attacking a vehicle an enemy RPer's character is using (such as an attack to damage an attack helicopter's guns that an enemy RPer 's character is piloting, although this doesn't mean the guns are immediately broken as a result). If you're attacking an enemy RPer's character, end your post with your character making the attack and aiming for that character, but do NOT declare if the attack hits or not. If they don't respond due to them going inactive for over five days or so, just break away from them by having your character get distracted and interrupted by something else, such as an NPC interrupting their attack, an explosion, or anything of that kind of nature.
  • Be willing to take losses, such as losing territory, having assets destroyed, and so on. Don't say "but our defenses are impenetrable," "our computers are unhackable," or something like "my armor resists all attacks!" That's just horribly lame. It's okay if your defenses are tough to break through, and they should pose some trouble to the attacking entities, but don't assume everything you own is invincible.
  • Don't be stubborn, egotistical, or bullheaded with your character. They can be tough and hardy, but they shouldn't be invincible. Try to be mature when handling PVP combat. Even heroes fall every now and then, and everyone has their faults and failures. No one's perfect. There should be things that challenge them, make things tough, and things that force them to improvise when Plan A just doesn't happen.

And yeah, I'll put these guidelines in the first post. I think they're pretty important.

Mewtwo is awesome!
Name: Juan Mendez

Gender: Male

Faction: Freelancer; in contact with UN

Age: 38

Description: Juan is a light- skinned, thin but somewhat frail man. Standing 5' 6", with brown eyes and brown, short and natural hair to match. Juan prefers to wear Red, white thin stripped shirt with Camo pants and amber tennis shoes. When he is out shooting either a paint-ball, or real gun, he wears a white scarf over his head in the form of a turban showing only his eyes.

Personality: Juan is a straight-forward, get things done, determined kind of person. Finding it difficult to joke around when the project is on the line, he rarely finds time for humor. While he is far from any Drill Sergeant or Black op unit, his friends know he is a leader and a brilliant scavenger, following in his father's footsteps. However, it is when things become desperate that he sometimes loses the focus to get out of it.

History begins before first RPG and then summaries what happened in first, then after.

History: Juan grew up in Gateon Port, living with his single, retired Special operations father after his mother died in child-birth. Developing his personality from his only role model, Juan became the disciplined kind of person his father was and expected him to be.

His father's old squad-mates were also living in Gateon port, and their children became the only few that Juan ever felt close to. Carlos, Johnny, Judy, and Fereida were the 4 friends he had closest and spent the most time with. Most of the time, they would be discussing the skills that they had been learning either by themselves, or from their parents.

Juan's father taught him how to make do of scarce resources you have, how to assemble weapon either un-assembled or broken, and how to shoot a gun. Carlos learned from his former engineer father, how to repair a broken engine, broken equipment, and, eventually, almost any machine that could run. Johnny had studied computers and networking through his childhood, learning how to program a computer, navigate a network manually, and how to bypass his parent's computer blocks. Judy, on the other hand, had a way for knowing what was happening in multiple places at once. Having many other friends and an ability to persuade, she is easily able to know the news before it is released to the press. And lastly, Fereida had learned a great deal about broadcasting and encrypting a signal to avoid tracing back to the source from her "High sensitivity Information Transponder Specialist" and later Radio DJ father.

In their free time with each other, they would spend it having paintball battles on the outskirts of the city. All of them knew how to fire a gun, but most of them didn't think that any of their skills would ever be needed in their lifetime. That was until the Chimera took over Orre. Juan and his friends could no longer have their usual battles outside the city, and the Chimera soldiers constantly knocked on their door demanding they pay their "rent." Juan was beginning to become increasingly angry at the harassing soldiers who had taken control of their home.

For several days, Juan had been calling his friends asking them if they had been feeling the same way he did about the oppressive Chimera in Gateon Port. All 4 agreed, and finally, Juan told his friends to meet him at their old "battlefield" they had spent much time together at...and to bring supplies for their "hobbies" and for a long camping trip. Juan and his friends took to their motorcycles and met at their planned spot, Juan was relieved to see that all of his friends had listened to him and come. Juan opened the second, even larger bag he had brought with him and revealed several hand-repaired AK-47 Rifles, Handguns, Kitchen Knives, and extra ammunition. Many of his friends stared at him in surprise at the extra "Camping Supplies" he had brought. However, Juan convinced them all to take their share of weapons and ammunition and put it on themselves, one way or another. Juan put the rest of the supplies back in his motorcycle and said with the raise of his pistol, "We, and all of Orre wants to rebel...we're going to be the first."

Just then, a Chimera stepped out from behind a rock behind Juan's friends and said, "I knew it! The General was right when he said you kids were trouble!" Juan's friends whirled around in surprise. Juan, out of surprise reaction, took a quick shot with his pistol at the soldier and dropped him next to his hiding place. A few seconds passed before everyone heard someone shout in the distance, "I heard a gun shot over here!" Juan and his friends looked at each other and then ran to their motorcycles as Juan shouted "Follow me and head into the desert!" They were barely moving before someone behind them shouted "Hey!" and bullets rang in the air. The soldiers tried to chase them on foot before giving up on chasing motorcycles.

Juan and the group traveled the desert for two days and slept for two nights before they approached Outskirt Stand. By then, the 30 year olds whoo had been suddenly chased from home had become paranoid that they were still being followed. As they approached, they saw groups with weapons and took off full speed again, heading further east into the desert. For another 1 hour they continued, becoming more fatigued and developing a growing desire for some sort of shelter in the endless sand. Then, they had gotten their wish.

On the horizon, they saw what looked like to be buildings. They were confused. No marked town or landmark was known to be in this part of the region, and not a soul seemed to be stirring in or around them either. As they approached, they saw a gate, sort of entrance to the ghost town. Pulling the rusted padlock off and pushing open the crumbling gate, they entered the eerie place. They called out with their weapons loaded and ready, but only heard echoes. As they wandered around, Juan started to think that they were in a military base......or what's left of it from the desert. After splitting up, the five searched the only buildings which had not yet collapsed. Some of the buildings, were in fact intact and the doors were still working. No doubt, the settlement had no trace of running electricity, but the electronic keypads and computers still plugged into wall outlets showed that electricity had been running here before.

As the rest of the group searched the base, they had figured out that the buildings still remaining were the armory, a make-shift generator room, half of the barracks, and the command building. While much of these buildings had been worn down by the desert over time, much of the frame, utility structure, and remaining supplies were either still able to work, could be repaired to work again. Suddenly, the group realized that perhaps they could use the base as shelter, and with work, could get whatever is left of it to work again for them. That night, they celebrated their new found hope for a revolution.

Within days, Carlos had been able to repair the generator to allow it to function on gasoline. As the small supply of power was flowing through what was left of the base, Johnny used his programming skills to reprogram the building's security codes and one remaining computer. Soon, with Judy making trips to Pyrite town and using her persuasion skills to slip past the gangs and gather needed supplies, their moral began to recover. But their worries of being found by Black Alpha suddenly spiked back to its original level with Carlos's discovery.

As he was walking through the armory one day, Carlos found a set of stairs leading down that he had not found before. Upon heading down, he found one door which opened easily, but then found a large blast door connected to a computer in the room behind it. Without hesitance, Carlos reported to Juan and then was sent back there with Johnny to hack the computer, turned on by the running generator. Johnny spent much of the late afternoon trying to gain access to the computer, but found its security encryption was beyond his comprehension. However, he did find the computer activity log. From it, he had found that the computer had been accessed several times before, but the last time it was accessed was two years ago; only two days after the Silph Co. Incident of Team Galactic Plasma began. Suddenly, the group realized that they may have stumbled onto something that actually may be of interest to Black Alpha....but at the same time, could be something that could be of use to themselves as well.

After intro RPG

After many weeks afterwards, they met up with some allies in Gateon Port during an attack. Later, Johnny and Judy finally cracked the code into the Armory basement after some complicated events, and ventured down to find an abandoned lab with a lone woman scientist, named Jamie, still surviving down there. She had access to several different assets that were of use to them thanks to the traits she received from the mutagens. However, when Heights died, there was barely any room for celebration.

Johnny and Fereida stood frozen for a minute after being surprised by the Chimera entering the room. As the lights turned on, they could both see it; a Porygon-Z Chimera with a syringe in its hand. Suddenly, it hit Johnny; the Chimera was able to survive for two years without food or water, simply because it didn't need them with that form! "So you're the one who made my transceiver go out of my control!" Fereida said, trying to not sound too nervous, "Why are you fooling with other people's tech?"

The Chimera just stood there, and then injected itself with the syringe in its hand. The being changed shape and transformed into a plain, thin woman with the dress and coat she was wearing before, still torn in some places. The two were awestruck as to how this was possible. "Please," she began to say in a calm and ordinary voice, "You have a right to know what's happened. After all, I've been watching you ever since you and your three friends were given rewards for your capture by Black Alpha after the 'incident' in Gateon Port some time ago."

Memories began to instantly flashback to the day they left home, after Juan shot the Black Alpha soldier. As if they didn't know already, there was now no turning back on their rebellion. "You took control of Fereida's transceiver, watched our every movement, and launched a missile on Gateon Port all from a satellite," Johnny began to say, talking firmly, "But now you've let us in your hideout AND you helped us find the allies we were looking for.....why? Who on Earth are you?"

"You are indeed smart; I would've have expected no less from someone who could breach the lab's firewalls. You tracing my signal and figuring out how I did all this comes as no surprise," she said beginning to walk towards them, "Allow me to present myself; my name is Jamie Redmond, and I'm no enemy of yours."

"You still haven't answered my questions," Johnny said, pointing the rifle at her as she continued to walk, "What are you doing down here? Why are you helping us? What was that you injected yourslef with?"

Jamie stopped walking, but kept the same face. "I have the same goal as you; to stop the Chimeras and Black Alpha," she began to say, "I had no use for your transceiver; there was a reason why you were able to hear your new friends on an encrypted radio. I was changing the frequency numbers every few seconds to ensure that the encryption would not prevent you from hearing them; no ghost was possessing your transceiver,"

Johnny lowered his rifle and just stared at Fereida, now knowing that they were right, and yet still confused. "This place that you've found is indeed an abandoned military command base, but this underground area was a secret," Jamie continued onto the next unanswered question, "Two years ago, I had been working for many years with my team on top-secret science projects being issued by no other than General Heights and the Presidents of Orre."

"What kind of projects?" Fereida said, listening intently.

Jamie just looked away, staring down another hallway adjacent to the room. "I had a team of four other scientists years ago; Heights commissioned us with a project that would make our careers. In minutes, we all accepted and were sent here," she said, "Our project was meant to be....the next step in evolution....It started well, and within two years, the project, combined with other teams working at other facilities, developed the first gene strand that was to be our future in human evolution. Heights and his associates were thrilled."

The two stood there looking at Jamie as she looked away. "But," Johnny began to say, "Your bosses had other plans for it."

"Yes," she said, now looking at them in the eyes, "Months after the discovery, one of the members of my team came one day with information about just how many people were associated with this. We had been told that only government labs were associated with this, but he had learned that the Military and Silph Co. was also connected to this as well. However, the Shadow Pokemon conflict had just been beginning, and we were being given the task of finding a way to cure Pokemon of their 'enhancements' as Cipher called them."

"How is that related?" Fereida asked.

"Its related to why I'm still here; another of your questions," Jamie responded, "The information about the conspiracy was put aside for a few years as two conflicts ensued. By the end of the XD conflict involving the 'Ulrimate Shadow Pokemon' or XD0001 as you may know it, we had actually found a way to purify this kind of form of Shadow Pokemon; it was meant to keep another conflict from happening, but instead, it later threatened our lives."

"Black Alpha?" Johnny said, "What would they want with you?"

"Five more years passed, and we continued our research into the Chimera genes," she said after waiting a few moments, looking away again, "We were making genes that could enhance human ability and, perhaps, make us more intone with nature....But the conspiracy my team had uncovered years before began to resurface, as the Military began to be the commanding force in the research,"

Suddenly, the mainframe began to make noise, the speakers seemed to turn on as if someone had, but there was no one next to them. "Soldiers were beginning to inject themselves with the mutagens, but at first, they were only meant to guard the lab experiments in labs...but we soon found out how much we had been lied to the whole time," Jamie continued, "Me and my team began to get suspicious when we heard reports of some of our test subjectas fighting back. We had been told that everyone who was injected had been doen so on their own will...but words don't mean much after you find the truth."

"What do you mean?" Johnny asked, confused. On that note, sound suddenly came from the speakers that had been turned only moments ago.

Surgical Ward; how can I help you? A woman's voice said after the sound of a telephone being picked up.

This is Security; we've just had an experiment escape through the main entrance, are those implants you placed in them last month working? Another voice said back.

Yes, The previous voice said, The program should be installed on the security computers. The GPS Satellite will lead you straight to the chip in the subject.

The recording cut-off suddenly as Jamie continued to look in the same direction. "How did you-?" Fereida began to say.

"The subjects were trying to escape from the labs," Johnny said, cutting Fereida off, "They weren't experimented on their own will were they?"

"Yes," Jamie responded, still looking away, "The subjects they had that volunteered weren't considered enough for Heights, so he needed a new source of subjects; in collaboration with the president of Orre, several citizens were accused of false crimes against the government and never appeared in court. Instead, they were brought to the lab facilities to be experimented on with the mutagens. Elderly, adults, and even children were kidnapped, and underwent a surgery not to their knowledge that involved placing a Positioning chip in their body so their movement could be tracked if they escaped; those that attempted escape were captured again miles before any civilization."

Johnny and Fereida continued to stand there shocked by what they were hearing. "So what happened? Why are you down here?" Johnny said after a long pause.

"Two years ago, some of Heights super soldiers attacked our lab. At first, we thought it was related to the developing accident coming out of Silph Co. the same day, but that was just an opportunity Heights used to gain the surprise," Jamie said, turning back to them, "One of my team's Black Market contacts, who was also supplying illegally to Heights, warned us that the messanger sent by his client was talking about how Heights wanted us dead. According to him, we had the key to stopping his future 'campaign.' Several months before, we had developed a mutagen that could reverse the effects of the previous one by forcing the body to destroy the corrupted DNA; turning them back into humans. Not only that, but we had also known how to purify XD level Shadow Pokemon using research from the Purification cham, ber that was developed by an independent labs years ago. Before we knew it, Heights soldiers were attacking our labs; armed with the mutagens and technology that we created. That was when we sent out the broadcast that I had sent to you earlier, in hopes someone would arrive for help, but no one came; Heights had jammed any signals comign in or out of the base before the attack. Uncertain, we all hid in different parts of the facility."

"But youre alive, how did you survive?" Fereida said.

Jamie paused for several moments while silence set in. "Fires had broken out throughout the labs, bodies were burned beyond recognition. After an eternal hour, the soliders had decided that the fires had killed us off, and so they left us thinking the job was done, but we were still very miuch alive," she said, beginning to sound nervous, "We later found each other in the destruction left behind. Afraid and knowing that Heights wouldn't stop searching for them if they knew they were alive, we all decided it would be best to...disappear.....My team was able to escape through the Black Market and smuggling to other parts of Orre and the globe. But me.....I didn't have the friends they did and so had no choice but to stay here."

Suddenly, it hit Johnny; the reason she was able to survive was because she had injected herself with a Porygon mutagen; she survived without food or water because she didn't need them! And that was how she kept Johnny out of the labs mainframe; she was in tune with cyberspace and technology. "So if you were hiding down here waiting for allies or help, why did you keep us out?....and you're not Porygon anymore, how are you still controlling the computers?" Fereida said, now being more confused than before.

The many screens on the mainframe suddenly turned on as large streams of incomprehensible data were flying through the screen. "I've spent two years down here, and my research into genetic technology has never stopped. After long, continuous periods of being in the form of a Proygon Chimera, I soon found that some of the non-physical genetic traits I could still use; my ability to control and synchronize with computers being one of them. While its possible to still destroy them, you can obviously tell what kind of possibilities that could lead to; but that is another subject."

"But why wouldn't you let us in? Besides, you were hoping allies would come right?" Johnny said.

"I have been able to see the outside world from the military satellite I took control of, but I couldn't have known whether or not you were with Black Alpha or not," she responded, "When you made plans to attack Gateon Port and meet up with potential allies, I knew that you weren't with them. So I took control of your transceiver, tuned it to their frequency, and then sent you the radio broadcast with the code to enter the labs that was never heard two years ago."

Fereida and Johnny just looked at eachother; suddenly, the pieces of the puzzle were comign together and everything was beginning to be answered. "So then what was the Orbital Missile Strike that you fired at the port then? What were you trying to do?" Fereida asked.

Jamie turned to look at them again, this time coming closer, now knowing that she was an ally to them. "That is related to another subject," she said, walking closer, "You see, many of the other labs that Heights had researching this technology are still functioning to this moment. Heights was moving supplies through the port, and more particularly the warehouse, for these labs, as well as the Shadow Pokemon Lab that belonged to Cipher years ago, which they have re-activated. The only reason this lab was attacked, was because we were the only ones, other than him, who knew how to Reversal Mutagens and how to purify XD level Shadow Pokemon; he wanted us out of the picture so no one could interfere with his plans. I destroyed the warehouse in the port to deal a blow to their new operations, but only at that time did I have that opportunity due to the positioning of the satellite not being correct for targeting it before that."

"Those labs, " Johnny said, "What are they doing now?"

"I'm afraid that my knowledge of that is limited," Jamie responded, sounding disappointed, "I know that the experiments they have been doing on innocents are still occurring, as they are still trying to advance the technology; as well as all of the subjects being implanted with Positioning Chips to make sure escape is impossible. However, all of these facilities are mostly underground, and neither the signal nor missiles from the satellite can go deep enough to cause damage or gain further information. So as for what projects the labs are currently doing, I will answer: I don't know."

Johnny lowered his rifle. He was completely convinced now that this strange woman scientist was on their side. "You likely know where the other three in our group have gone, can we give them any help from here?" Johnny asked.

"I believe with some improvising we can," she responded in an optimistic tone. Making the computer screens change she began to give them orders, "I can boost your radio distance using the satellite; at the same time, from here we can monitor their progress on the surface by using the surveillance from it as well. Should your friends have any sort of transceiver they can connect to the Cipher Lab's network, you will be able to gain access from here with my help. I'm sure you know what assistance I'll need from your help, so lets get to work."

End of conversation

Soon chimeras of legendary Pokemon appeared and some of the group's former allies turned rogue. The group managed to escape the onslaught and escaped to their hidden base where Jamie, Judy, and Johnny were watching this unfold from the satellite. Confused and now stuck on what to do next, the group remained off the grid for weeks while many other events unfolded. Currently, the base is unknown to anyone but them, (thankfully, their hideout was never shared with anyone) and now the group has come out with a some kind of new plan; though they have no idea what is going to happen.

Motive for being in Orre: This started as a revolution to liberate Orre, but now its turned into something bigger; more than they dreamed.

Other:

The group’s skills are mentioned above in the history, which were either taught to them by their veteran parents or learned by themselves.

After searching the Base’s armory, they’ve made out that there are still two Humvees and one T-60 MT Tank that can be salvaged and repaired to working order, as well as a small weapons and ammunition cache. They have also been able to find a two way radio and broadcast transceiver, for communication and their potential broadcast plan, that has been restored to working condition by Carlos and had its frequency encrypted, to make tracing difficult, by Fereida.

One of the Humvee's is in working order, but the rest are currently in no state for use.

Pokemon: Each person has only one.

Juan:

Species and Nickname (if any): Staraptor
Gender: Male
Description & Personality: Juan's Staraptor is, most notably, his help in finding things to scavenge or salvage. Before all of this happened, he would help Juan find parts in the junkyard for Juan to experiment with. With the current events, having someone help him find scrap metal and parts in a sea of sand for repairs, or bombs, is no doubt helpful.

Carlos:

Species and Nickname (if any): Magmar
Gender: Male
Description & Personality: Carlos's Magmar is his best friend when it comes to repairing a broken machine. While Magmar still needs to figure out which part of the metal is metal and which part is Carlo's hands, he is still a good help to Carlos when it comes to welding metal for repairs.

Johnny

Species and Nickname (if any): Porygon 2
Gender: Male
Description & Personality: While Johnny spends more time on computers than Pokemon, Porygon 2 is a Pokemon he can actually find something related to computers. On some occasions, Porygon 2 has actually been able to crack the security codes of some devices that Johnny could not have done otherwise. Though, oddly, has not been able to crack the blast door computer in the armory basement.

Judy:

Species and Nickname (if any): Snivy
Gender: Female
Description & Personality: Like Judy, Snivy has the talent of persuading and charming others into doing things their way or to gain something, whether it be food, information, or something else. While not exactly one to gather sensitive intelligence on the enemy, she is known for being a good diversion in certain situations.

Fereida:

Species and Nickname (if any): Castform
Gender: Female
Description & Personality: During Fereida's father's time as a radio DJ, he needed some help in giving weather forecasts during his shows. Fereida was given his father's Castform when she grew older and came to like Fereida. Like what she did with his father before her, Castform has helped Fereida to predict weather, which could have been a great asset to her had she joined a broadcasting career....at least a professional one.

Jamie: None currently due to hiding underground for two years.

ok then Neo, you asked for it!

note: for more information on my character - check here - that's his first SU
Name: Corporal X
Gender: M
Age: 38
Faction: UN (all of the squadron are)
Description: Corporal X - Leader of "Squadron X" - the international crisis team of Hoenn's Special Ops. This unit consists of 5 Members - Corporal X, Lieutenant QuickScope, Sergeant SLAG, Sergeant KaS and Private Chan - there used to be six, but two of them died in combat three years ago, Private Chan was the only Person worthy to join in the past three years.

He wears Full Combat Armour - In the case of Orre (I don't know much about Orre so help me out here) a Tan Camo print on High-density Carbon Fibre. he Carries an Assault Rifle of the same Colour, and a Pistol on his belt. He also carries a few rations of ammunition on his belt but mostly he carries Energy rations - he has learnt to live off energy rations (small tablets) for months on end without needing a meal, so that he can pack light - however, the amount of food he eats when he does get a meal is astonishing as a result.

Personality: Corporal X is anonymous. He lives for his job and would die for his Job. He is the best of the best, and as a result completes assignments with surgical procedure. He comes off as a very harsh person, but will do anything to avoid his allies falling. Though he claims that it's "for the good of the mission"

History: Squadron X has been through many things, all of them classified of course, but none of them was greater than the outbreak of Team Galactic Plasma three years ago. He lost two men in those weeks of fighting.
Since then, things have been surprisingly calm. The squad assisted in stopping a few gang outbreaks to keep fit and practiced, and there was one incident of a large Pirate Organisation taking over Sootopolis, but once again, they were only assisting another sqadron, and it was mainly for practice.
Almost a year ago, X recieved word of trouble in Orre. He was to take his squadron into Orre to take down an organisation known as "Black Alpha"
While in Orre, The squadron met up with Alex Waters and Theresa del Monico - some old friends from back at Kanto - The two of them had helped X and his team defeat Team Galactic Plasma a few years before, so knowing they were trustworthy, X joined forces with those two and set of to destroy Black Alpha.
However, while they were disrupting activities, not only had we joined with many other people, but Alex and Theresa had turned themselves into Chimera's. This was no trouble at the time, but not long after they destroyed a hidden lab, X was given orders from a supply drop scheduled. In said supply drop was a hearty feast for the troops (their first meal in weeks) as well as extra munitions and medical supplies. Finally, a letter in very clean handwriting was sitting ready.
Corporal X
The UN has decided to outlaw all Chimera's and people who once used them. Unfortunately, this would include you, SLAG and KaS. However, very little intelligence is given out about your team, and you are too fine a soldier to lock away for using Chimera mutagen. However, from now on, you must not, under any circumstances, have any dealings with Chimera's, except for killing them. If any reports are given that you are helping Chimera's, letting Chimera's help you, or are using a Chimera Mutagen, I will have no power to send your whole squadron away. Please do not let this happen, you are the best Hoenn has to offer.
I look forward to the stories of five soldiers storming through Black Alpha, ripping them apart.
~Cmd. Johnson.

With a quick word to Alex and Theresa, Corporal X and the squadron left for Outskirt stand, preparing for a much harder war...

Other:
a bit about the squad:

QuickScope - X's Best friend and trustworthy partner in Battle. QuickScope is the team's sniper
SLAG - 3 years ago, he was the newest member of the squad, and despite his timid nature, SLAG was awarded the title of Sergeant for amazing Bravery in battle. He has since proven his worth in the team.
Not long before leaving Alex and Theresa's assistance, SLAG took a heavy hit from an Elite Chimera's Shadow Ball - He was in a very critical condition, but Chan managed to save his life. He was unable to walk for two weeks, where Chan never left his side. SLAG has been eternally grateful of Chan ever since, and while he will never show it, is starting to get a soft spot for her.
KaS - A slightly begrudging member of the Squad, KaS likes things done By-The-Book, and doesn't care for strangers. He trusts very few, and this leads to quite a bit of tension between him and Chan
Chan - The only Female in the squad, she is the dedicated Medic. She uses a flamethrower to keep enemies at bay more than to fight, prefering to keep everyone else fit for battle. After the situation 3 years ago, the team desperately needed a medic, and Chan was the best in the business. Chan has been crushing on SLAG ever since she joined the squad, although while the rest of her eccentricness shows, this doesn't...

Species and Nickname (if any): Mortar the (shiny) Metagross
Gender: n/a
Description & Personality: Mortar is Corporal X's Pokemon - He is very intelligent and is never actually given orders. Mortar has learned to read X's thoughts (wether by telekenesis or just knowing X very very well, nobody knows) and predict his movements. Species and Nickname (if any): FlashBang the Electrode
Gender: n/a
Description & Personality: FlashBang, I think that basically says it all. FlashBang is QuickScope's Pokemon, basically acting as a very effective Grenade. FlashBang is also very cheeky and loves messing with opponents. He features Flash, allowing him to blind enemies to help QuickScope and the Squad take opportunities, Explosion (there was Flash, why not Bang?) to take out large groups of enemies, U-turn, for getting out of sticky Situations, and ThunderBolt to Fry opponents with a grin.

Species and Nickname (if any): Bugsy the Flygon
Gender: Male
Description & Personality: Sergeant SLAG's Pokemon - Bugsy the bug-eyed Flygon. Rarely comes out to battle, as he prefers using his moves to perform certain tasks, but no matter what he's doing, he always has a seemingly Jolly Air about him. Soaring Pikachu

Cool Trainer
Name: Pikababe
Gender: Female
Age: 28
Faction: U.N. (possibly changing sides later)
Race: Human

Description: Pikababes sky blue eyes burn with an intensity greater than that of an afterburner found on a fighter jet plane. Her long green hair falls down to around her hips. A gold bandanna covers her head and is tied off in the back. She wears a white tank top, a pair of brown short shorts and black hiking boots. Pikababes skin is tan and her figure could best be described as sphelt. She is somewhere in the neighborhood of 6 feet tall, give or take a few inches. Rounding out her equipment is a pair of black fingerless gloves, a trainers belt/ pouch slung around her waist, a pair of anti sand goggles and some tiny pokeball earrings. (UN appearance:) She retains her gold bandanna but almost everything else is replaced by an all black uniform along with normal black colored leather gloves.

Personality: While she can be quick to anger, she is not a very hostile person by nature. Being something of an adventurer at heart, Pikababe is usually willing to try most things at least once before writing them off. Her fierceness is matched only by her humility, which is probably one of her strongest traits. Pikababe would rather not be at the center of attention but if the situation is serious enough then all bets are off.

She is friendly toward others but her trust is not easily won. Pikababes "never lose attitude" can sometimes get her into trouble if she gets in over her head. Since she never expects to fail, she does not always fully consider the consequences of her actions. Fortunately, Pikababe can be very resourceful in a pinch.

History: Pikababe is somewhat familiar with Team Galactic Plasma and the UN but has never actually encountered Black Alpha. In the past, she like many others have co-operated with the UN and considers them to be reliable allies. Recent events may greatly change how Pikababe feels about the organization and its followers but news of the UN's horrible actions has not yet reached her however. She was last seen trekking toward Gateon port on foot with her team of pokemon. Given the amount of time that has passed since then, her fate is not entirely known...

Pokémon

Species and Nickname (if any): Jigglypuff (Jiggles)
Gender: Male
Description and Personality: (Taken hostage) Cute as a balloon but about a 1000 times tougher. If he senses that his trainer is in danger than he will not hesitate to do everything in his power to remove the threat. Normal pokemon battles are not a matter of life and death though, so he typically does not need to get super serious. Originally met Pikababe by helping her out of a jam when she was little. It was nothing personal, he just happened to be passing by and had nothing better to do. He has stuck with Pikababe ever since. Has brought a pair of goggles with him, which he wears on top of his head.
*Rain dance, Body slam, Thunder, Disable*

Species and Nickname (if any): Pidgeotto (Predator)
Gender: Male
Description and Personality: Contrary to his nickname, Pidgeotto is quite well mannered and pleasant. Despite being high leveled and overall experienced, he keeps his current form rather than evovlving to a Pidgeot. While Pidgeottto has not known Pikababe for as long as Jiggles, he had joined her team around the time that Pikababe was just starting her journey in Kanto. His feathers are slightly darker than similar bird pokemon.
*Mirror move, Quick attack, Hurricane, Sand attack*

Species and Nickname (if any): Cacnea (Super sayan cactrot)
Gender: Female
Description and Personality: A little bit of a trickster but also very reliable. She delights in demolishing opposing teams of pokemon in perfect sweeps. Of course she greatly depends on her teammates to set up successful combos for those wins. She tends to cooperate well with other pokemon and always listens to Pikababe.
*Swords dance, Dynamic Punch, Seed bomb, Acid*

strategiser24, awesome stuff, great sign up. Definitely will be interesting. Dark Pulse, your sign up is also good to go. See, this is where things get intriguing. And finally, you're good to go as well, Soaring Pikachu. Nice job.

And yes, I'm making Janine go from being just an NPC to an actual character. Should be pretty funny and hilarious, but yes, I don't usually make characters this ridiculous. XD

Name: Janine Price
Gender: Female
Age: 25
Faction: Team Galactic Plasma
Race: Advanced Chimera, (Lopunny, Togekiss, Ninetales), referred to as a "Seraphare" (Seraph + Hare)

Description:
Chimera-JanineSeraphare.png

Janine stands roughly about thirteen feet tall, looking like a giant, white Lopunny with four wings and eighteen tails. Meanwhile, her ears are long and puffy, going up for about three feet before bending back down toward the ground. She also has a red band of fur around her left wrist and left ankle and a blue band of fur around her right wrist and right ankle. Meanwhile, on her left ear, there's a red V-shaped band, while she has a similar blue band of fur on her right. Like Alex, the fur on her head is longer and runs down her back, also having a few red and blue highlights. Meanwhile, Janine does her best to keep clean and keep her fur tidy, knowing any stain or mark is going to show. Because of such, she's a bit reluctant to get herself dirty at first, but once she's gotten pretty stained beyond her control, she'll just give it up and won't care how filthy she gets knowing she'll have to clean it all off in time anyway.

Meanwhile, she has four angelic Togekiss wings with a thirty foot long wingspan, giving her the ability to fly quite gracefully. She also has eighteen tails, each one of them twenty-six feet long while having a red, white, and blue band of fur surrounding the end of each tail.

Personality: Reckless, naive, and to some she's probably clinically insane, Janine Price is quite unpredictable in terms of behavior. Meanwhile, things she considers fun and interesting are things others would consider ridiculous and psychotic. Very rarely does she think about the consequences of her rather reckless actions, but if something does go wrong, to her it's usually no biggie, as long as a lot of blood and guts aren't involved. As a result, she's Team Galactic Plasma's ideal scientist, smart and willing to try anything in the name of science. Under normal circumstances, she isn't too keen on fighting and violence, but she doesn't like appearing weak and useless either.

Meanwhile, Janine goes through phases. She had an extreme passion for flowers and really liked her previous Bellossom, Lilligant, and Venusaur form, but recent times convinced her to drop it. At the same time, she has a wild love for Alex, but as she came to realize, he was absolutely not interested in sharing the same Bellossom, Lilligant, and Venusaur form she once had. She tried repeatedly to get him to try it and enjoy it, and a few times she forced it on him, much to his distain and is something he still hasn't forgiven her for. Still, when it came down to it, time after time, she realized she was only getting more disliked the more she tried it, and he was instead becoming more attached to Theresa. She gave it up and tried a different tactic to see if she could get his love. Seeing as how he had gotten comfortable with his Bunninja form, and could no longer get out of it anyway, she decided to take on a similar form to his, becoming a Seraphare, essentially a white Lopunny with four white wings and eighteen tails. She finds the whole premise of what she calls "bunny love" to be truly cute and adorable, and is something she considers worth giving up flowers for. She was also getting a bit tired of flowers anyway, and honestly didn't want to be reminded of the fact her six Pokéballs containing her flower Pokémon got caught in an APC vehicle explosion and were never recovered.

Still, she's caught in a love triangle, competing for Alex's love with Theresa. Even though the two of them are still allies, they're worst enemies in their attempts to become Alex's chosen soul mate. Alex has been leaning more toward Theresa, which Janine interprets as a warning that she needs to step up her game.

History: Janine was born to Karen Price and her husband Douglas Price, who also is a head administrator of Team Galactic Plasma. The family mostly lived in Fuchsia City, Kanto, and Janine spent her days as a child overtaken by wanderlust, curiosity, imagination, and simply playing pretend. Meanwhile, she began to like flowers mainly for their colors, shapes, smells, and different patterns. Flower-based Pokémon ended up being her favorite, so when she was of age, she collected a few, but didn't get anything else. As a result, she didn't do very well in the leagues with only grass-type Pokémon, but she decided battling wasn't for her anyway. She was more interested in research, since it lead to more discoveries and allowed her to play around with her curiosity.

She decided to join her father and perform Pokémon research, working with Team Galactic Plasma. In truth, she didn't see anything unethical about performing what others deemed as "mad science." Through it, she was able to do plenty of crazy and "funny" things to people and Pokémon, but wasn't always able to reverse them, and instead simply sighed with an "oh well." When it came to science, Janine was very carefree about it. She felt there was nothing wrong if specimens and volunteers still looked cute at the end. It was when they looked ugly and beastly did she feel something did go wrong, and she'd simply "try not to let it happen again next time."

Janine was in fact one of the leading researchers for the creation of the Chimera project. She had always loved flower Pokémon, but the Chimera project actually gave her the opportunity to be like one too. So she decided to become a Chimera of three of her flower Pokémon, Bellossom, Lilligant, and Venusaur. Everything was going normal until the outbreak of zombies happened. During the whole crisis, she met Alex as he was trying to escape. She and two other Team Galactic Plasma members tested a Chimera mutagen on him, and then tested the forced evolution process on him to see if Chimeras could actually evolve. When it worked, Janine fell madly in love with Alex in his first Bunninja form and the way he fought off the zombies. He was her first, big success also, but they became separated for a while after she evolved herself twice as a Bellossom, Lilligant, and Venusaur Chimera, and became too big to leave evolution chamber room after him. It wasn't until later that they teamed up and used her knowledge of the building and of the mutagens to give themselves an edge.

Once the Dark Dragon was defeated and all the mutagens were taken away, she returned to being human for a while until it was later discovered by Team Galactic Plasma that the mutagens that were supposed to be confiscated and destroyed were used by Black Alpha instead. Team Galactic Plasma had recreated their Chimera mutagens again, and Janine returned to her beloved Bellossom, Lilligant, and Venusaur Chimera form. However, when Alex and Theresa met up with her again, she got named "Flowerpot," and had her backup mutagens taken away and destroyed. She also realized Alex still had no interest in flowers either, and while she was happy to see him again, he didn't exactly warm up to her presence. So, she knew she needed to try something different, as it seemed she was already losing badly to Theresa, and absolutely didn't want that to happen.

While performing a recon mission in Gateon Port, Janine accidentally banged her head against a metal rod, and suffered amnesia. Her personality totally changed, becoming aggressive, and actually disowned the six flower Pokémon that were actually hers. Theresa and Alex, happy to get Janine out of her flower-induced trance, lead her on to believe the Pokémon she thought she had were actually stolen by Black Alpha. As a result, Janine, now badass, swore to get the Pokémon she never actually had back in her hands, but she never did because they never actually existed in the first place. Meanwhile, they were attacked, and the original belt of Pokémon she had was caught in an explosion, destroying the Pokéballs of the only six Pokémon she had.

Instead, she eventually got a Garchomp, mainly thanks to Theresa. In addition to that, she obtained a Mawile. Eventually, her memories did come back to her and her normal personality came back, although she didn't feel the same way about flowers anymore, and she knew going back to that would only cause Alex to fully reject her. When she remembered what she did, she still felt a bit silly about it, but would have preferred if the six flower Pokémon she used to have hadn't gotten blown up in that APC. While she isn't as much as a flower-loving fruitcake as she used to be, she still gets easily drawn to cute, fluffy Pokémon. Eventually, Janine got a Furret and a Flareon, much more up her alley. To Alex, as long as they didn't have flowers, he was fine with whatever she picked. Shortly after, Janine acquired a Lopunny, who she named Jubilee to be a symbol of the love she and Alex have for each other. Alex rolled his eyes about it, but figured he had dealt with far worse. Lastly, Janine had also gotten a Blissey, who she claims is there to fill in for medical roles, which she does, but she also knows Theresa can't stand Blissey, so she got her to spite Theresa a bit. As of late, she's gotten more toward pulling more pranks on Theresa, hoping to make her look goofy and clumsy, which she hopes will get Alex to like her more.

Now, after hearing the news that the UN is out to exterminate all Chimeras, Janine successfully convinced Alex to join Team Galactic Plasma, knowing Black Alpha was still their enemy, and Team Galactic Plasma's plan to colonize the moon was really the only escape they had now. Still, she's determined to become Alex's true love, and thinks she's way better looking than the deranged hellhound that Theresa has become. She feels if Alex can get comfortable being a black bunny rabbit, he can definitely get comfortable with her.

Other: Janine, despite her quirky personality, is pretty smart when it comes to scientific research, and knows just about everything when it comes to Chimeras. She also has plenty of other scientific knowledge, but genetic manipulation is definitely her specialty. She's also pretty skilled in first aid, and knows how to take care of wounds.

Pokémon:

Species and Nickname: Lash the Garchomp
Gender: Male
Description and Personality: Lash is purely aggressive, and will often take on the fights that Janine herself doesn't even want to touch. Meanwhile, Janine, despite her attempts to make him look a little cuter and docile, has only gotten a convincing evil eye from Lash, enough to the point where she knows better than to try that again. At times, Janine is a bit reluctant to bring him out, but if things get dire, she won't hesitate...

Species and Nickname: Crunch the Mawile
Gender: Male
Description and Personality: Crunch gets along with Lash quite well. Both of them share the same kind of aggressiveness, and even though most other Mawiles like to deceive their opponents first, Crunch doesn't bother, and just goes in trying to annihilate everything in his path with his massive jaw right away. Again, like Lash, Crunch is another one of those Pokémon that would probably kill you if you tried to dress them up. As a result, Lash and Crunch are helpful Pokémon to Janine, but... the two of them aren't her favorites...

Species and Nickname: Cinnamon the Furret
Gender: Female
Description and Personality: Cinnamon is fun-loving, cheerful, and friendly, but doesn't get along with Lash and Crunch that much. As the total opposite, Cinnamon actually likes being shown off, dressed up, and starring in contests and musicals. She isn't too big into battling though, but she gives it her all when it comes arise.

Species and Nickname: Sunny the Flareon
Gender: Female
Description and Personality: Sunny comes about halfway between Lash and Cinnamon when it comes to personality, being more down to earth and being rational, but knows how to have a good time and not be a badass about it. She's a good fighter and strong as well, but doesn't mind goofing off a little every now and then, as long as it doesn't get too ridiculous.

Species and Nickname: Jubilee the Lopunny
Gender: Female
Description and Personality: Jubilee is feisty, spirited, and on the level of hyperactive like a kid wired up on coffee and energy drinks. She doesn't mind a good fight, and absolutely loves to taunt, humiliate, and embarrass her enemies to the point of being completely absurd. She's also very highly competitive, and loves nothing more than winning and giving her competition the look of "told ya so!"

Species and Nickname: Spring the Blissey
Gender: Female
Description and Personality: Spring is more on the careful and tentative side, meaning Janine definitely doesn't use her for battle. She takes her role of healer pretty seriously and carefully, making sure not to make mistakes or overlook critical details. As a result, she's a bit slower than other Pokémon, but she'll almost always get the job done right.

Weird Person
Name: Terra Ferest

Gender: Female

Age: 28

Faction: UN

Race: Human

Description: Terra's hair complements her name because it is a rather earthy brown. She tends to keep it short with bangs. Her eyes are also brown. She is 5'5" and at average weight. Terra has two different outfits. On the job she wears blue scrubs and black loafers. Off the job she wears black pants with a green T-shirt and white sneakers. She is Caucasian and she never wears makeup or lipstick. For some reason her chest is almost bare with her you-know-whats not showing up unless she wears a skin-tight suit.

Personality: Terra is kind to a fault. She joined the UN because she believes that they treat the Chimera's with respect after they capture them, which is why they haven't told her the truth. She is unable to kill any living creature, no matter how better off the world would be without it. She is dedicated to healing others and is better as a supporter rather than an attacker. She is easily manipulated into doing what someone wants if they threaten the life of someone else.

Despite her faults she is defiantly someone you want on your side. She is very intelligent when it comes to medicine and health. She also can handle seeing gore better than most people, although that's a given with her occupation. She believes that nobody would use the mutagen willingly but some eventually like the new form they are given. She also never gets mad which can help in certain spots.

History: Terra was raised by a Christian family with kindness. She wanted to be a doctor when she grew up when she was five and that never changed. She was raised in Cerulean City and went on a short Pokemon journey for one month before returning there. She went to medical school after college and graduated first in her class. After spending 2 years at a hospital being a doctor she saw a want add for medical personal for the UN so she signed up for it. During her interview she praised them for treating captured chimeras humanely so they decided to hide the truth from her.

Other: Terra has a traveling medicine bag for when she is sent on missions which contains four CRA syringes, a wrap of bandages, three full restores, three revives, and a bone saw.

Pokemon

Species and Nickname: Clare the Audino
Gender: Female
Description and Personality: Clare was Terra's starter Pokemon from when she traveled. Clare was given as an egg by Terra's aunt in the Unova region. Unlike Terra, Clare can get mad and will attack if threatened. She can act as a nurse with her Heal Pulse. Terra usually has this move used after an amputation to seal up the wound.

Species and Nickname: Jim the Kadabra
Gender: Male
Description and Personality: Jim is the only Pokemon Terra managed to catch. It was hard for her to evolve him until she taught him Thunderbolt and even then she couldn't fully evolve him. He works well as a battler but he doesn't fallow Terra's commands in battle mainly because he knows better. Terra uses him more often as a fast escape route with his Teleport but she can have him fight in the situation calls for it.

I really joined the UN because it was lacking in members and I don't like playing the bad guy. I know the UN isn't the good guy organization either, but it can fool good guys into joining them.

Can we have more than 1 character, or are we limited to one? I have an interedting idea for a character in a situation like this.

Oh I'd like a reserve please! And a quick question. I was really hoping I could have a character, factioned with the Black Alpha, who is a Standard Chimera with, stay with me now, Mew features. You see, her father is highly regarded in Black Alpha and has a position of power. He would do anything for his daughter and when she expressed the wish for a mutagen of Mew, he did whatever it took to do just that. You think you'd allow that? I'll be sure to keep it low key and all, I just have this character in mind...

So essentially, most of the people form the last RP are either Galactic Plasma or Freelancer now, am I right? Interesting...

Still, even freelancers could cause quite a stir. And they're free to join with different sides later on.

I really joined the UN because it was lacking in members and I don't like playing the bad guy. I know the UN isn't the good guy organization either, but it can fool good guys into joining them.

It can, that's what the thing with the UN is. They're making it seem like they're treating the situation humanely, but really, they're not.

Can we have more than 1 character, or are we limited to one? I have an interedting idea for a character in a situation like this.

You can make as many as you'd like, just as long as you give all of them equal screen time. I have two myself actually, so yeah, make more if you'd like.

That's perfectly fine with me. Black Alpha's the only faction with access to Legendary Pokemon DNA, so yeah, you could even make your character an elite within Black Alpha, that's okay with me too.

I'll probably make a sign up for Strauffor as well then, but I'll do it tomorrow. I've had some ideas for her, and I want to explore them.

Well-Known Member
Name: Sophie Lance
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Faction: Freelancer
Race: Human
Description: Of average height, and with a build that hints at power, Sophie comes across as being slightly dangerous. The smile that often graces her face comes across as insane, rather than alluring, due to her obvious canines. Her eyes are a bright, unnatural silver in colour. Her skin is slightly tanned, and her hair was originally a light brown in colour. However, she has taken to dying it a dark green recently, because she likes to look unique and different. Strangely enough, her skin is slightly tougher than a normal humans, meaning it takes slightly more force to break the skin than normal.

Clothing wise, she wears things that most people would fit into the genre of ‘punk’. She generally ignores all of these comments however. Her current favourite outfit consists of a white, sleeveless tee shirt, cut short by her above her bellybutton. She wears black fingerless gloves that go halfway up her arms, made out of a rather tough material as it has steel plates built into it over the knuckles, to help with punches. She wears a silver belt over black shorts with zip up pockets, to prevent things from falling out of them when she has do some manurers. Her shoes are a dark red with black laces, and a little heavy duty, must not enough so that it would hamper her in any way. Her appearance often leaves older, more respectable people shaking their heads about ‘teens these days’ – a reaction which is exactly what Sophie wants.

Personality: The first thing that people should be aware of about Sophie is the fact that she doesn’t crawl to anyone. She does things her way, regardless of whether it would be a wise idea or not. This desire for freedom comes from her very restrictive and regimented childhood. Anything that is formal and has a lot of structure, she will rebel against it, regardless of whether she is aware of it or not.

Sophie comes across as being a rather arrogant young woman, who believes herself to be stronger and better than your average Joe. And, she likes to prove she’s better too, which means she’s constantly getting into fights with other people, just to show everyone that she can win. This doesn’t always happen though, much to her disappointment. She loves the adrenaline of a good fight, as it makes her feel wild and alive.

She actively seeks out any weapon or Pokemon that is considered to be powerful, and strives to become the best at everything she does, even if it is painfully obvious that it would be impossible for her to achieve. To her disappointment, this happens quite a lot; she doesn’t quite have the experience, the power or the resources to pull off exactly what she wants to do. But as she can be rather stubborn, she refuses to give in, trying desperately to achieve what she wants, but most of the time failing, with terrible consequences for herself. She knows that in order to become stronger than the average street fighter, she will have to give up her independence and join a group or a faction, but she refuses to admit it to herself. It is a constant battle between freedom and power.

While on the outside, she appears to be insanely confident, on the inside, she is actually quite uncertain about everything she does. Having been constantly put down by her family has caused her to question everything, and she doesn’t really believe in herself anymore. But, her seeking out every powerful thing and her will to make herself more powerful is her one last desperate attempt to prove herself to her family. She also deeply regrets killing three of her brothers friends one night when she went crazy with power.

History: As the only daughter of one of the most powerful businessmen in Kanto, Sophie was always put under pressure to be things she wasn’t. As a young child, she had to deal with the disappointment from her father about her gender, as he believed as a girl, she would be far less capable of pretty much everything. At such a young age, she couldn’t understand why her father paid so much more attention to her two brothers than her, instead of loving all three of them equally.

Still, she received a decent education, being taught in private by a tutor about everything her father believed she needed to know. However, her tutor – a man named Jarred – believed that her father was being deliberately narrow minded in the skills she was to be taught, and started teaching more than he was meant to. Sophie was glad for this, because she enjoyed learning, especially the things that Jarred showed her. From him, she learned many things which her father considered to be for males only, with the most notable of these being self defence. She really enjoyed learning to fight, causing her to go and learn from someone more experienced than Jarred all through her childhood, until the age of seventeen.

At this point, the events regarding Team Galactic Plasma had started, and her father was firmly opposed to them, funding the parties involved in taking them down. He later joined the UN when it was formed, and went off to Orre to take action against the ‘demons’, leaving Sophie and her two brothers alone in Kanto.

After a horrible night, in which her brothers and their friends decided to have some ‘fun’, Sophie fled from her fathers mansion, bruises starting to blossom on her body, and blood streaking from her mouth. She wandered the streets of Viridian City alone and weak, when she stumbled upon a woman selling some kind of drug, which he claimed would make her more powerful than anything she’d ever seen. He said it would turn her into a Chimera, which would allow her to take her revenge on whoever had caused her injuries. Power hungry, she bought the drug, and injected it into her body, before returning to the mansion.

Those boys didn’t know what had hit them. Those that survived swore that a demon had come and just started killing them. One of them swore it was a female, with wings made of steel and talons that had just flown in the window and started to hack them to pieces. It fled as soon as sirens started to ring out, as if the noise had frightened it.

An investigation was run, trying to find the strange demon killer of three teenage boys, lead by Sophie’s father, who had returned from Orre. Sophie, in the mean time, had gotten her hands on a FEA, and turned herself into some kind of fusion between a human and a Skarmory, referring to herself as Moroid. However, as she was now an advanced Chimera, she was easily found by the investigation, and attacked by them and their Pokemon. During the fight, which easily destroyed the park that Moroid had been found in, Sophie’s father managed to stick a CRA into her side. She defeated the agents, and then fled, slowly feeling fainter and fainter. She curled up in a cargo crate and went to sleep while the CRA worked its magic, turning her into a human again.

She was woken up by a concerned looking Banette, who was confused to why she was there. Sophie quickly realised that she was in Orre, having been picked up and transported there while she slept. There, she started searching for another Chimera Mutagen, desiring to once again have that wonderful, awe filling power in her hands.

Other: Very good with hand to hand fighting, carries around a small knife which she also knows how to use well.

Pokémon: Sophie does not actually own any Pokemon, however this one seems to follow her around the place, much to her confusion.

Species and Nickname (if any): Banette, referred to by Sophie as Kione.
Gender: Male
Description and Personality: For a Pokemon that looks like something out of a horror film, Kione is surprisingly gentle and caring. He strives to look after those he feels are suffering inside, and tries to make them feel better about themselves. He considers himself a doctor, and the people he follows are his patients. His newest patient is a girl he found in a cargo crate one day, all alone and beaten. He has been following the girl – Sophie – around for a few weeks now, sometimes monitoring her from a distance, sometimes interacting with her. He strives to be professional about his work, but he cannot help but feel slightly attached to this ‘lost soul’, and has often appeared to help her in battle.

Name: Toby Morris
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Faction: Freelancer
Race: Human, Past Chimera.
Description: Toby is the same height as Zack, but due to his slightly weaker build, he's lighter. He's also slightly thinner than Zack, due to his build being much smaller and him not being overweight in the past. He is unfortunate enough to have a lot of acne, and though he does try to keep himself looking OK, it gets out of control very quickly. He also has quite thick glasses that make his eyes look huge. However, he doe snot have braces to "complete" the "geek look". He doesn't need them as his teeth are in excellent condition.

Toby has dark brown messy hair. He doesn't pay a huge amount of attention to his hair, so just leaves it most of the time. His eyes are blue, made extra noticeable due to his magnified glasses.

Clothes-wise, Toby has clearly little sense of style as well. He wears a pair of old grubby jeans, that are rarely washed. Due to profoundly excellent sense of balance and general unwillingness to do much physically challenging movements, apart form being dirty, his jeans are still in pretty good condition. This good conditions translates to his t0shirt, a plain white one with a picture of a Magnemite on the top. Toby occasionally wears a jumper on top of this, in a similar grubby condition to his other clothes, that is navy blue in colour. He wears some white and blue trainers. These are relatively new, and,as such, are still quite clean.

Personality: Toby is an extremely intelligent boy. He is ridiculously good with technology, and it was him that managed to bring the Kid's Grid back online after years of not being used. He is a master hacker, and loves computer games, but is also very good at practical creation too. He loves creating guns from old parts of other guns, he loves taking apart machines to see what's inside. He is a very creative guy and a master tactician.

Toby is extremely shy, and feels very uncomfortable in the presence of other humans. It is for this reason that he prefers to remain solo most of the time, staying away form large cities in his operation as much as possible. For this reason Team Galactic Plasma are a pretty good target for him. He wants to take them down, and badly. However, he does have a few friends, and when with them, plays the role of the wise and mature guy. He is quite a calm person. He is an extremely loyal friend, though, and has a strong sense of justice.

History: Toby grew up in Kanto originally. His mother and father were peaceful folk, living near Pallet Town. His dad worked in Saffron city for Silph Co., his mother for the Pokemon fan Club in Vermilion. They were very busy for most of the day, and Toby saw very little of them. But the time he did have with them was possibly the best time of his life.

Toby found it extremely difficult to make friends. He had glasses, and people constantly teased him about them. Toby often felt like the only people who really cared for him were his parents. Even his teachers were cold towards him, treating him as if he didn't exist. Fortunately, Toby was a hard worker form a young age, and studied extra hard to make sure he understood everything he was being taught. He often went further than was required, reading ahead. That's mainly the reason for his high intelligence.

His parents would take him on fascinating trips all around Kanto (and sometimes even to Johto). At the age of ten, he got his first Pokemon; a Magnemite. He treasured it forever. But then, one day, his life was turned upside down. He'd just reached the age of sixteen, and, as a treat, his parents took him to Saffron city. Toby had already visited the large city, but this time was different. He was to be given his second Pokemon. Steven Stone was visiting, a business friend of his dad's. Steven gave Toby his second Pokemon, his Beldum, before quickly leaving. It was a great day though, and Toby loved it.

Just before leaving, Toby's dad got an urgent call form work. He was in the vicinity, and they needed his help. The little family rushed to Silph Co, only to discover Team Galactic Plasma there. They raided the building, and, in the process, killed many worker there, including both of his parents, who were trying to stop the evil team. Toby only just managed to escape with his life.

He got on the first ship out of Vermilion city to try and stop his grief. By chance, it was heading to Orre. Little did he know that it would lead him to a great adventure. he lived in Orre for a while. And then, one day, he met Zack Robertson. The two instantly connected, and they formed a strong friendship that lasts today. Zack wanted to stop Black Alpha, who he's heard about on the News. Toby agreed, and the two brought back the Kids' grid, forming the Kid Army.

From then, they gathered fighters for the army. Zack's family even appeared. Toby was slightly jealous, but he wasn't too unhappy. he was among people who accepted him. He had friends. The group helped in the effort to destroy Black Alpha, but all the time, Toby was looking for Galactic Plasma, to get revenge. When General Heights died, it seemed fantastic, for a while. The Chimeras were outlawed and he, Zack and Zack's family had to escape to the desert. Toby started hunting down Team Galactic Plasma, and Zack started trying to defeat the UN and Black Alpha.

Other: Toby has the same Pokegear as Zack, but with a huge load more of extra gadgets installed.

He only has two commonly used forms. These are:
Mecha man: Magnemite, Porygon-Z and Rotom. This form is the techno-geek's dream. Overflowing with Electrical charge, it allows the person to use Rotom's ability and invade any electronic device. Unlike Rotom, it does not then make this device go orange with eyes an be obviously infiltrated. It looks exactly as it did, allowing a stealthy operation to happen expertly. It also has the ability to create devastating computer viruses, which can, if created right, be transferred to the real world as actual diseases. It also has powerful beam-related attacks for combat purposes.
Sandman: Sandlash, Excadrill, Diglett. Used a lot for transport and as a hit and run physical attack strategy. The tunnelling ability of this form is excellent. It essentially created the tunnel system that Toby, Zack and his family live in now. It's great for moving underground ridiculously quickly too.

Toby also has a hand-made Machine gun, and a pistol. Some of his Pokemon are in the custody of James Slasher (Zack's dad)'s brother, who loves in a region far, far away from the war.

Pokemon:
Species and Nickname (if any): Magnet [Magnemite]
Gender: "Male"
Description and Personality: Magnet was Toby's first Pokemon. He's a small ball with tow magnets on the side, and screws attaching him, with one eye, like most Magnemite. However, the magnets are different colours. Instead of re,d he has Yellow, and instead of blue, he has Green. He's very kind and warm to all other Pokemon and people, especially Toby, and even the enemy. This gets him into quite a bit of trouble. He has a very odd sense of humour, making rubbish jokes that make no sense.
Commonly used Moves: Thunderbolt, Flash Canon, Light Screen, Reflect, Electro Ball, Lock-On, Flash.
Note- I know that in the previous RP, he was a Magnezone. Ignore that. he's been a Magnemite all along, OK?

Species and Nickname (if any): Metallic [Metang]
Gender: "Male"
Description and Personality: Magnet was Toby's second Pokemon who he received from Steven Stone as a Beldum. He is a disc-shaped robot with two arms that floats in the air, like most Metang. Due to lots of battling, however, he is quite dented in some places. Metallic is a bit of a brute. He is a bloodthirsty Pokemon that enjoys being violent. He loves battling, and often goes over the top. He's very physically strong.
Commonly used Moves: Meteor Mash, Bullet Punch, Zen Headbutt, Pursuit, Magnet Rise, Iron Defence, Earthquake, Brick Break.

You aren't going to leave Razor and me to be in limbo again, are you Proby?

Nah, just kidding. But please don't. Just saying.

Sorry... ;)

And I think by the way Zack and Toby are gonna work this time round, there won't be many meetups with your characters. Or any characters, for that matter. Except for Toby and Galactic Plasma members. He is very likely to want to kill those on sight.
