As I searched through the rubble with Rogue and Paladin, I couldn't help but think about what Theresa said. She found X again, but I already knew he was following orders. Even still, he was choosing to follow them, which really didn't make him and the rest of his team any better than his superiors. Even though I would have liked to believe he wasn't out to kill us, that wasn't the truth. Him and his men nearly killed Theresa, and if it hadn't been for Janine, she probably would have bleed to death. Even if we allowed him to explain, that wouldn't have changed anything. Letting us go would result in him being charged for treason, and I knew he wasn't going to do that against his Hoenn commanders. The only alternative was to carry out the mission, and that included either killing or capturing us.

We have to find out who it is... in Hoenn. We have to go to Hoenn. Maybe we'll find some answers...

I sighed as I thought it over, but I knew we couldn't. X and his team made this decision, and I couldn't turn my back against Team Galactic Plasma, who were working on our salvation and would be jeopardized if we didn't fulfill our mission here.

"Over here!" I heard Ian shout out. "I’m right here Nemesis, no need to yell so loud."

Thankfully Ian was still alive. Cluster bombs were no joke, and I wasn't about to underestimate the killing power of those things.

"We're lucky to be alive," I told Ian, still not forgetting the fact I was pretty beaten up myself. "As humans, I don't think we would have survived that."

Still, I was bleeding in a few places, and bruised in plenty of others. Using Moonlight only counteracted some of the damage. I could still fight, but after finding the M95 sniper rifle, I saw it was badly damaged, and had no chance of ever shooting straight again. Essentially, it was useless, meaning we'd have to continue this out on foot and use whatever weapons we could find, if we decided to use them. Thankfully, however, the spotting scope that Janine had been using earlier was still working. After crawling through the rubble, Janine tried to assess the outside situation.

"Oh great, looks like the UN's calling in more reinforcements," Janine muttered, really not sounding peachy about it. "More tanks, more troops, and I'm seeing a few more helicopters as well. There's just no end to these guys, is there?"

I could tell the UN was madly determined to exterminate the Chimera presence at all costs. It wasn't going to make my job any easier. Still, the more garbage they deployed in Orre, the less they were sending off in Unova. I didn't want to imagine all of this walking around Mistralton where our operations were delicate and needed to be kept quiet until it was time to go.

"Here, let me have a look at that," Janine told me, addressing my wounds as she was chewing bubble gum. "Your arm's kinda cut up, but thankfully nothing too much. Your forehead also took a nasty gash. Anything else hurting?"

"How's Theresa doing?" I asked, wondering if she was going to be all right.

"Eh, she's fine," Janine shrugged, wrapping the wounds with gauze and bandages. "At least you weren't shot like she was. Still, we should get the frick out of here before they start dropping more bombs. Thinking of laying a C4 trap for those tanks?"

I thought it over, but it was going to be difficult. The UN was pretty quick and effective at noticing Chimeras, even when we should have been hard to spot. Truthfully, my ideal time to strike was at night, and right now, it was too bright out to take advantage of the situation. Planting explosives on tanks would be much easier with the concealing cover of the night.

"Might need to use them like landmines," I told Janine, trying to think of the best way to use them. "Or, find some way to get the explosives to stick to surfaces. That might be a better idea..."

I could make that work, but I needed some means to get that sticky substance I needed...

Theresa started waking up, looking woozy. I had to say, Theresa looked cute and funny when she was dazed and confused. More like a lost puppy dog looking for a good home rather than a feral wolf looking to take a bite out of something.

"Why... why don't I remember...?" Theresa asked, looking lost in her own head.

"About Hoenn?" I asked, figuring that's what she was talking about before heading off to La La Land. "Sorry Terrimutt, but no can do. Spanking Hoenn isn't on TGP's agenda. And sorry to say, but X is a schmuck and I don't care if we have to knock his lights out."

Theresa just hummed, and I wasn't sure if she was even listening. Ah, whatever. Anyway, I had a solution for Alex's predicament. I grabbed one of his C4 explosives, spat out the gum I was chewing, slapped it on the back of the C4 brick, and presented it to him.

"There ya go," I smiled. "It's sticky now. Should stick to whatever tank, wall, or soldier's forehead you decide to slap it onto. Say, that gives me an idea!"

Candy Weapons! Why, it was brilliant! The UN wouldn't suspect weapons being made from candy! Guns that fired hard candy bullets, or frag grenades that used hard jawbreakers for shrapnel. And weapons that used lots of lots of gum to bind and suppress enemy UN forces! Ha ha ha, the look on their faces would be priceless!

"We need to make candy weapons!" I told Alex and Theresa... if she was still actually paying attention. "The UN will think we just have a crazy sweet tooth, and then BAM! Jawbreaker frag grenade to the face! That's the problem with guns, grenades, and bombs. Everything's gotta be black, black, black. But if they're colorful and candy-colored, why, no one's going to take them seriously!"

"I guess it might work, although it seems a little on the odd side," Alex shrugged, seemingly not much of a candy lover.

"And that's why it'll work!" I urged him on. "Your sniper rifle's busted anyway. I mean, I'd need a confectionary and some bombs to make it work, but the idea is there! You guys are too... badass, so everyone always thinks you're up to no good. But if you dress up crazy and jester like, carry a bunch of candy-colored items that people think are candy but are actually weapons, and act like a goofus, people are going to let their guard down!"

In the meantime, I got to chewing some more gum to make it possible for Alex's C4 bricks to stick to things. It would be great to slap onto those stupid helicopters. I'll admit, I didn't have the greatest throwing arm out there, but Alex might be able to pull it off. Meanwhile, there was a lot of gum to chew, so I handed some to Alex. He shrugged and popped some in and began to chew as well, getting it nice and sticky. I handed some to Theresa, but she just turned it down. Figured it had to be tough to chew gum with only canines.

Meanwhile, I didn't know why Theresa cared so much about that Corporal X guy anyway. Almost made me think twice about killing him, because maybe Theresa would fall in love with X instead, and leave Alex for me! I guess it was hard for her if X always had his face covered, but if we removed the mask, hey, maybe Theresa would go wild for that guy and want to marry him! That would be perfect! That would leave Alex for me, and everyone would be happy!

"Dress up like a jester?" Alex asked, thinking that was a weird plan. "Bunnies that dress up like jesters, use concealed weapons that look like candy, and put on a show for the UN only to get them distracted and put their guard down. Can't help but say, no one has the right to say you're unoriginal, Janine."

"So does that mean you'll do it!?" I asked him, wondering if he would. The more I thought about it, the more fun it sounded!

I could see that look in his eyes. Humiliating the UN, becoming infamous among their ranks, and finding a new way to wreck their plans. Sure, he wasn't the kind of guy that would be crazy about candy themes and laughing like a goof, but it was a different approach. It was "tactical" and "strategic" in a way, but I really wanted to do it to rub it in the UN's face, and actually become "those crazy jester bunnies" that struck fear in the UN, rather than being just another Joe Schmoe sniper and spotter.

"The UN would really hate something like that..." Alex couldn't help but snicker. "Better they focus on us rather than on Team Galactic Plasma's operations. Well, it's worth a shot."

"YES!" I shouted with glee. "I figure Realgam Tower might be the place we need to search for the essentials. You know, costumes, candy, that kind of thing. That whole place is meant to be a tourist trap, and it was evacuated with the war, meaning it's probably ripe full of fun stuff."

"I see the UN easily falling for a taunt like this..." Alex told me. "I figure it's probably the best way to buy us more time."

With that, we quietly made our way toward Realgam Tower. I wasn't sure how Theresa and Ian would take to this, but whatever. I knew for a fact that being a nemesis to someone and having fun while doing it drove people crazy. Just the thing we needed!

In order to avoid becoming shark chow, she has to keep her cool and maintain her composure at all costs. Pikababe reaches the front of the lineup at which point a UN port official asks for her business and destination. Quickly she looks around for any ideas of how to get past this guard.

A wanted poster catches her eye, "ALEX WATERS, WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE" Pikababe recognized the name from Saffron city but she did not remember Alex looking quite so furry. Come to think of it, Theresa and Janine might be with him as well. Hunting down a fugitive would make for the perfect cover as to why a typical agent of the UN would need to leave the region! There would be no need for Pikababe to reveal her name or explain any personal information.

"I am going to Unova to search for the traitor Alex Waters! I'll drag him back here by his bunny ears if I have to!" Pikababe actually did not have a clue as to Alexs true whereabouts but she needed to sound convincing. "Very good, move along. The ship will be departing shortly." Pikababe had done it! Now all that she had to do was come up with a way to break someone out of a heavily guarded UN detention center, which has never been done before...

Jacob Saxton
Ex- Black Alpha
Pyrite Town

Even within in his unconscious state, the feeling of healing water was still felt. In a few minutes, Jacob awoke but to his unfortunate favor, he still felt the pain in his chest. At first, Jacob tried to get up, but then noticed that a Milotic was curled around him. The Milotic must have felt him move since he uncurled and let Jacob get up. To his immediate left was Strauffor and Zack assisting as best as they could; to his right was his other partner Rage looking oddly concerned considering he was normally emotionless.

Jacob thanked the Milotic for the quick heal and slowly surveyed what was left of Pyrite Town. It was clear that the UN was going to conquer over time. He looked up and saw four more Obsidian aircrafts flying around again. Jacob knew that one of them would give him a clear shot to leave town, but it was a coin toss for the other ones.

“Strauffor, I appreciate the help, but we need to get her to an actual doctor. Plus, I need to make way to Kanto to get all the necessities needed to overthrow Black Alpha, preferably without much bloodshed. I have equipment there that would help.”

Jacob paused for a second, realizing that he could still feel the bullets inside his natural armor.

“Actually, scratch that; I going to need someone to keep an eye out for me and make sure I don't pass out again. I don't suppose your Milotic knows any ice moves or anyone else has a fire type to help cauterize for me. I need to get these damn bullets out.”

“Gently, gently. Like you were trying for an Ember so small it could only light a birthday cake candle.”

Zack nodded, he tried for something smaller, but it wasn't working. He sighed as he stepped back. He wasn't good with medical things like this. He frowned as he took his sun glasses away from his eyes and placed them a top his head, With the barrier gone, everyone around him could plainly see that he was in fact a Chimera.

Sorry, I- I'm not so good with stuff like this... He appologized to Strauffor, as Blaze let out a growl and rolled his eyes before going back to gently working on Jacob. That is, until the unconscious male began to stir ever so slightly. The Charizard backed off and let him do his thing.

“Strauffor, I appreciate the help, but we need to get her to an actual doctor. Plus, I need to make way to Kanto to get all the necessities needed to overthrow Black Alpha, preferably without much bloodshed. I have equipment there that would help."

Zack noticed that Jacob had paused, meaning that something had come up.

“Actually, scratch that; I going to need someone to keep an eye out for me and make sure I don't pass out again. I don't suppose your Milotic knows any ice moves or anyone else has a fire type to help cauterize for me. I need to get these damn bullets out.”

He pulled a Pokeball from his belt. I have a Vaporeon that knows Ice Beam if that helps at all. Just tell him what to do. He sent out Aqua who looked around casually before letting out a yawn.

Sophie smiled in relief upon seeing both Zach and Stauffor, only to replace it with shock upon seeing Jacob and his Lucario, who looked like she would die in a few minutes. Zach was holding a flame between his hands, frowning. With his glasses and hat gone, it was obvious that he was a Chimera. The teenage Chimera hurried over to them, hearing what Jacob was saying.

"-lus, I need to make way to Kanto to get all the necessities needed to overthrow Black Alpha, preferably without much bloodshed. I have equipment there that would help.” He paused for a moment, as Sophie's eyebrows raised in surprise. So, he wanted to betray those he was supposed to be fighting for. She felt a flicker of dislike run through her body. She didn't like people who turned on their teammates. But he'd seemed so attatched to them when she'd last seen him - what had happened to change his mind?

“Actually, scratch that; I going to need someone to keep an eye out for me and make sure I don't pass out again. I don't suppose your Milotic knows any ice moves or anyone else has a fire type to help cauterize for me. I need to get these damn bullets out.”

"I have a Vaporeon that knows Ice Beam if that helps at all. Just tell him what to do." Zach said, releasing a casual looking Vaporeon, who yawned.

From what they were saying, Sophie could gather that they were trying to heal the two of them as much as possible. She bit her lip, unsure if she could actually help or not. From the looks of it, Stauffor had the three Pokemon that Sophie had now fused her DNA with (Serperior, Dragonair and Milotic), and they would have far more experience with something like this. However, no one was really watching what else was going on around the roof they were standing on - someone had to keep an eye out for UN soliders.

"I'll keep a look out." She said, walking off to the edge and looking around, not entirely sure what she should do to ensure their safety.

The instincts that came with the Milotic DNA whispered that she should hide herself from her enemies by creating a haze around the building. But common sense told her that that would be far to obvious - she'd need something else if she wanted to hide them. Could she reflect the light somehow? But then, the rooftop would shine like a beacon... But, what if there was a large and violent distraction on a nearby building?

Uncertain, she shone for a moment, letting a safeguard appear around the roof of the building. On the entrance to the roof, she put up a Reflect and a Lightscreen, which would give them a bit of notice if someone was about to come barging in. Sophie paced slowly around the rooftops, one eye on the streets around her, the other worriedly watching the others.

If there was one thing I knew about the UN, it was the fact they were a bunch of stuck-up, arrogant pricks that thought they knew everything and always had a perfect, infallible plan. Janine's plan, while most would consider it wild, ridiculous, and downright insane, was everything the UN would loath and despise. That's what made it so easy to agree with. The fact that it would drive the UN up a wall of anger, loathing, and abominable fury was just the kind of distraction we needed.

Realgam Tower, once an entertainment nexus, a casino, a stadium, a tourist trap, and part theme park, had been abandoned because of the war. Thankfully for us, neither the UN nor Black Alpha saw any strategic value in it, so everything that was inside was up for grabs. And while most of what was truly valuable in Realgam Tower had been looted and stolen, the simple things were still there. Janine had been working on acquiring fabric for our costumes, and I realized she was actually pretty talented at tailoring, however she picked up that skill along the way.

I was working on getting ourselves a vehicle. The helicopter was stolen, most of the Realgam vehicles were gone and were probably hotwired, but there was one that caught my eye, and I knew Janine would love it to death. It was a simple ice cream truck, but I saw a lot of opportunity in it. Getting it started was easy, but I knew it wouldn't last very long in combat... unless of course, it was modified for combat. Quickly, I got to work on adjusting it for riot control by adding armor plating to it, and mounting a 50cal machine gun on the top.

Once Janine was done with our jester costumes, I was surprised at how well she was able to make them using only what she had on hand around here. Colorful, sarcastic, and downright comical, putting it on did make me look like a real loony, but all I had to do was act the part, and the UN would lose their minds with irritation.

"Ooh, it's perfect," Janine smiled at the modified ice cream truck made for warfare. "The UN's gonna hate us with a real passion."

A lot of it had to be improvised with whatever I found on site, but it looked better that way.

A lot of tailoring and make-up later, Alex and I were ready, at least as far as looks went. I decided to go with pastel colors so we could go for a jester Easter bunnies of doom look! Meanwhile, I loved the little jingle jangle that the little bells created. Man, this was going to be fun! I looked to Theresa, not really sure if she wanted to get in on this zaniness, but if she did, oh, all the better. I made her a nice red and black costume if she was in on it. Even if she wasn't an Easter Bunny of Doom like Alex and I were, she could still have fun with it. We could still make that her honorary title.

With the modified ice cream truck now combat-equipped, armored, and pastel painted for warfare lunacy, Alex and I got to working on weapons that the UN would never expect. I was stuffing explosives into stuffed Pokémon dolls that were typically used for prizes on a midway, as well as getting lots and lots of paint. Meanwhile, the 50cal machine gun was painted and arranged to look like a pink Lopunny with its open mouth as the barrel of the gun. Ha ha, boy, I bet the UN's peeps were going to love see that firing at them! And on the back of the ice cream truck, I spray painted "You scream for ice cream!" with little Easter eggs, happy bunnies, and other laughable sarcasm.

Everything we had was done in complete sarcasm. Grenades painted to look like Easter eggs, explosives hidden in stuffed Pokémon dolls, and plenty of candy weapons. Theresa was a master of poison and chemistry, so we could use that as well. Meanwhile, Alex was good with bombs and weapons, and I was good at redesigning everything for that special look.

Once we had everything ready, we drove back to Pyrite Town, ready to turn the tables. My, if this didn't make the UN just completely irate, I would never know what would.

Janine somehow came up with a plan of throwing the UN off guard...in the strangest way possible. That meant full on candy sweet. Yikes, not my type. However, maybe it was going to help us, though not in the way I might expect. I wrinkled my nose as she spat gum on one of the C4s. That was just disgusting. However, it was a good idea, done right that is. Keeping in mind Janine's obsession, I gathered up all the weapons and headed with them towards the tower.

Realgem Tower, Orre
Abandoned Floor

Gathering up my materials from the supply truck, I headed up with the weapons in hand, a few Grunts carrying more from behind me, as well as my larger supplies such as the drying pans. I found a floor where I could work after some climbing. Allowing them to leave the weapons and explosives on the ground, I then sat down next to them. Time to get to work.

The first thing I took out of the pile was Janine's electric boomerang. Boomerang...candy...what could I do with it? I took out one of my metal pans and some sugar syrup, ingedients, food colorings and extracts. I held up the boomerang and studied it. Angel wings. The first thing that came to my head were heavenly wings, which matched Janine's scheme. I laid the boomerang on the pan and took out a big flask of sugar syrup. I then added a small drop of blue coloring as well as some blue raspberry flavoring, a drop of mint and a pinch of edible sparkles. Cold as ice was what I was going for. An angel, but an angel of death. I then added more ingredients to make the solution thicker and less transparent, shaking the flask to mix it well. As I poured the now ice-blue solution over the boomerang, I used one of the knives to sculpt the sides into its basic shape. It was starting to look quite how I wanted so far. I then left it, allowing it to harden considerably before shaping the wings.

I then moved on to Alex's Wakizashi. Man, it was huge compared to Janine's boomerang. Alex...wasn't sugary like Janine. Calm on the outside...but has a warmth in him. I know he had it...otherwise, I wouldn't have had feelings for him. Feelings which I still have up until now. Powerful and passionate, he struck like fire. Fire...perfect. Pouring several flasks of mixture into a deep pan, I then followed the same mixture as Janine's, except I made this one semi-opaque, adding red coloring, a spicy cinnamon flavor, and hints of orange and yellow. Like a flickering flame...or a wildfire. I then took out the biggest drying pan I had and laid down his weapon, pouring the candy mixture over it on both sides. I must say that I loved the shade of red it had. I would later shape the edges of the blade to make it resemble a tongue of fire.

Fire and Ice...what did that leave me? Poison candy was out of the question...on the other hand...Thunder was a pretty good idea. I was often thought of to be the fastest, the most unpredictable...the way lightning strikes. I unsheathed my scythe and studied it. The blade could easily be disguised by a thunderbolt shape. I searched for my pale yellow coloring, eventually finding it, and mixing it into the third batch I prepared. This time, I added lots of peppermint extract and gave it a semi-opaque quality similar to Alex's. I then looked at the handle. Wait a minute...the handle was perfect for making a candy cane-like look. I took a smaller batch of candy mixture and tinted it gray. Yellow and gray would have to do. I wouldn't want my weapon to look like a bumblebee. Laying the scythe on another one of my extra-large drying pans, I carefully alternated the yellow and gray mixtures on the handle, drying them with a low-powered Ember and making sure both sides were coated. I then proceeded to the curved blade, pouring the rest of the pale yellow mixture on both sides, before leaving it to set partially for shaping.

I got back to Janine's and Alex's, taking the knife I used for shaping. I carved the angel wings shape of Janine's boomerang, drying the weapon with a low-powered Ember before taking it off the pan and looking at it. Not bad, not bad at all. It looked rather like an ice sculpture of angel wings....candy angel wings. Beautiful, but deadly were the best words to describe the weapon.

Shaping the small flames on the outside edges of Alex's blade took some time. Passion filled me as I did it. I loved him, I really did, like the fire I was creating now. It was deep inside, but it was there. The cinnamon candy took a crystalline quality akin to a melted ruby. Breathtaking, yet dangerous in anyone's hands. It was very cool...or should I say hot? As I allowed my weak embers to harden the coating, I couldn't help but imagine the faces of whoever we encounter. Candy weapons? Funny, yet possible.

After a while, I ended up back at my scythe. The pale yellow peppermint coating the curved blade had almost set. Perfect for cutting. Taking a larger knife, I changed my strategy. While the other two required careful carving to achieve their candy-like look, mine did not need it. Lightning was jagged and comical-looking to begin with, the opposite of the natural beauty of fire and ice. Using the knife, I cut and shaped the bolt which encased the blade, keeping in mind to make it comical and something not to be taken seriously. After adding the finishing touches, I then dried it with Ember.

I looked around and saw that I still had a lot to do. I noticed that we had several small, round bombs....Jawbreakers! Yeah, I was going to disguise them in that round candy Janine reminded me of. I had some sphere molds, as well as some wacky colors. Taking as many bombs as I could, I then got back to work.

Later....

After some hours, I managed to finish with the help of some of the Grunts. As I got down from my workplace and they carried the candy weapons, I saw Janine and Alex sporting some ridiculous-looking bunny costumes in pastel colors. Mein Gott...April can make your mind cra-zy. She was also holding up a red-and-black one for me. Whoa...mine wasn't pastel? Cool...but wait, mine had bunny ears sewn on top! Arceus, I was going to be a wolf in rabbit's clothing. However...it was a good enough strategy. I put it on, then followed them into...an ice cream truck.

"Alex...Janine...here you go." I told them, handing each of them their customized candy weapons. Janine's icy one and Alex's fiery one. I also handed them a bag of Jawbreaker Bombs each.

"I fixed your weapons up. Yes, even the carving. Now they're edible. Jawbreaker Bombs alongside your Plushie Bombs work, so they won't see what's coming. Sooner or later, I'll be baking bombs in Ding Dongs....and loading all of your guns with candy-coated bullets." I told them.

Toby had vastly better fortune when it came to the Square. As he approached he saw many more people, all looking pleasant enough. Toby approached the first, an old man with a walking stick, who had deep wrinkles on his face that showed he had smiled a lot in his youth.

"Hello, sir" said Toby politely, "may you please inform me of the location of the tea Galactic Plasma Hideout in this city, if there is one?"

"Why hello there!" said the man "Yes, I have seen Galactic Plasma grunts around the city. They are pleasant enough chaps, I must say! They don't bother us. I have seen several hanging around that old warehouse. They are well disguised, but one can always tell a Galactic Plasma operative is one looks hard enough. I have had much experience with them in my time, so I am what some may call an expert in noticing them."

He then pointed towards the warehouse in question.

"Thank you very much, sir!" said Toby excitedly. Now his plan could commence. He would infiltrate Galactic Plasma and take them down from the inside. That was Toby's master-plan. Toby looked ahead as he saw a shape gliding through the air. His eyes widened as he saw what it was- and Archeops. His eyes widened further as he recognized the Archeops in question- it was Pterror. Pterror was one of Erioc Starstorm's newest recruits to his team but was already very powerful for the young trainer. Pterror's presence could only mean one thing- Eric was on the island.

Suddenly a group of trainers and Pokemon appeared outside the Galactic Plasma base. Toby almost immediately saw Eric standing there. They'd met eachother during the Black Alpha conflict before. Toby had integrated Eric into the Kid Army. Toby watched as the group fought off a group of Steelix, with one been caught by another of the trainers. Toby had read files on Eric. He was now part of Team Galactic Plasma. This was perfect. Toby had an easy way into Galactic Plasma.

He smiled as the battle finished. He then walked over to Eric.

"Hi dude. How's life been for you then? Oh, by the way, I want to join Galactic Plasma. I've made up my mind."

[OOC: Note that nobody knows Toby hates Galactic Plasma. He hasn't yet made any action against them. As far as Eric knows, he's been hiding in the desert and thinking about what he wants to do. Also, I'm assuming Pterror was caught between the last RP and this one? If I'm wrong correct me.]

Pterror says that Toby is coming this way presently, Broadsword told me.

"This is awesome! I haven't seen Toby in a long time. I've been so worried!"

Pterror seemed to have calmed down, and Broadsword smiled. I am pleased to see you so jubilant at this event, Eric.

And then the three of us heard a voice that we hadn't heard since the death of Heights.

"Hi dude. How's life been for you then? Oh, by the way, I want to join Galactic Plasma. I've made up my mind."

"You do? That's great!" I said with a smile. Suddenly, Broadsword's smile faded.

Something is amiss here, Broadsword said to me. I could tell by the surroundings that he was talking only to me.

I decided that if Broadsword was wary, then I should be too. What is it?

I cannot pinpoint it...but somehow I do believe this is a mistake...

Relax, buddy. What's the worst that could happen? It's Toby! I trust him.

...Very well. But if he so much as lays one finger on you, his head will roll.

I turned back to Toby. "Come inside, you must be tired. We'll get the paperwork filled out and you'll be with me and Terra."

I lead Toby inside, and as I did, Broadsword said something to me in private again.

Now that Team Galactic Plasma has resurfaced, maybe it would be prudent to tell Toby of their modern day goals, he suggested. They are not the same as the Galactic Plasma that Toby once knew. He may be confused.

Good idea, I said. I turned to Toby. "I wasn't sure about GP at first, I'll tell you that. But I did my homework, and it turns out, they just want to help the chimerae! They plan to build a safe place where the chimerae can be safe from the UN and Black Alpha. If they succeed, the UN won't feel the need to hunt down the Chimerae any more, and Black Alpha's operations will be pretty much ruined. After we build the safe haven on the moon, we're just going to let Black Alpha and UN kill each other. It resolves pretty much everything! And I know you'll be a great help."

By this time we were at the front desk. "Fill this out," I said, handing Toby a registration form. "When you do, go through that door." I pointed towards the door to the shooting range, which I then walked through myself.

Another OOC: I just noticed the candy weapons thing. That's got to be one of the funniest things I've ever seen in a serious RP.

Toby Morris || Freelance [Undercover Galactic Plasma] || Galactic Plasma Base - Citadark Isle
"You do? That's great!" Said Eric with a smile. Toby noticed that Broadsword, Eric's Gallade, who had been smiling until a few minutes before, was no longer appearing cheerful. Toby decided to be cautious around the Gallade. One could seal their mind to stop people and Psychic type Pokemon that knew how from infiltrating it, and Toby had mastered it. Clearly Broadsword was a stronger Psychic than last time Toby had encountered the Gallade.

Whilst Toby was thinking these thoughts, he noticed that Broadsword and Eric appeared to be having a silent mental conversation. Toby almost instinctively knew that Broadsword was alerting Eric to at least a sense of unease at Toby's words.

Eric turned back round to face Toby. "Come inside, you must be tired. We'll get the paperwork filled out and you'll be with me and Terra."

Toby nodded, and allowed himself to be lead inside the base. It was rather plain and boring. A clever ruse to keep Galactic Plasma secret. Nobody would expect them to be in this place. On the way there, Eric started speaking to him, informing him about the modern Galactic Plasma.

I like Eric, thought Toby to himself, making sure to keep his thoughts inside his mind and not out in the open for Broadsword to hear, and I'll probably feel guilty for ruining Galactic Plasma for him, but he's being terribly naïve. Whether Galactic Plasma leave this fight or not, the UN will carry on destroying any Chimera that remain. Plus, I'm not fighting against GP because of their previous goals. This is a very personal matter. I want to make them pay for killing my family.

Toby looked up, and found himself at the main reception desk. It too was bland and uninteresting. Eric reached to the desk and picked up a piece of paper.

"Fill this out," He said to Toby, handing him what was obviously a registration form. "When you do, go through that door."

"Thanks, man." said Toby.

Eric pointed at a door that he then went out himself. Toby had no idea what the door lead to, but he didn't really care. he picked up the registration form and slowly filled it out, making sure to write the correct answers whilst still being truthful.
---
A few minutes later, Toby walked through the door that Eric had pointed to. There was a slight difference to before though- this time Toby was accompanied by his two Pokemon, Magnet and Metallic, his Magnemite and Metang. He quickly saw that this place was an impressive shooting range. Toby whistled. As much as he hates Team GP, he had to admit they had some sweet technology. He kept the hating Team GP part secret.

Toby saw Eric and walked over to him. The teen was in his standard Victini Hoodie. Toby smiled. He was really going to enjoy Eric's company again. He'd enjoyed it in the pre-Heights death war, and he was certain he would now.

"Yo, Starstorm! Am I in the team now bro?" he said, flashing the paper. "Man, this is gonna be so awesome!"

Zack Robertson || Freelance || Zack's Base, Orre Desert
Meanwhile, Zack was planning, and plotting. From the documents he'd recovered from the S.S Libra, he'd discovered a small slave encampment for Chimeras. It was a relatively new one, he guessed from the low amount of Chimeras there. He'd decided that he would take it out. That way the UN couldn't enslave any more Chimeras, at least for a little while anyway. He was currently deciding on the best way to so such and operation. Blaze, Otto and Pistachio were with him, inspecting the documents.

"I see only two big courses of action" said Zack to his team-mates. "Either we do a big stealth mission and sneak in and disable everything like that, or we go in all guns blazing. I prefer the stealth."

Toby entered the room as I aimed my assault rifles at one of the targets. I was about to shoot as he walked up to me. "Yo, Starstorm! Am I in the team now bro?" he said, flashing the paper. "Man, this is gonna be so awesome!"

"Yeah, that should do it. Take any of the guns you like," I said, gesturing towards the ceiling-high shelves. I flicked a switch on one of my guns, switching to three-shot burst. "But first, check this out."

I aimed at the paper target and fired three bullets at it. Just like before, the bullets exploded in flames, and the target was incinerated.

Incendiary bullets may be powerful, but they are not exactly favorable for stealth, Broadsword pointed out. He saw no need to be private about that--I could tell.

"Aah, let my brother worry about stealth." I aimed the other gun at another target and fired another three-shot burst. This target was incinerated also. "You know I'm all-out muscle."

I suppose. So where must we go first?

"Hmm...well, you remember Alex Waters, don't you?"

Yes...faintly. We only met him once, if I remember, and I was in my Poke Ball.

"Yeah. But I think it's time to get in touch with the guy. If I could just find out where he is, or what he's doing...maybe we could help."

He brushed you off for being young, did he not?

"Hmph...don't remind me. He judged me too quickly. If we could find him, and help him with whatever he's doing, maybe he'll let us help. Besides, that crazy flower girl is on our side in the matter."

Janine Price. Broadsword seemed slightly amused that I had called her that.

"Yeah, that's the one." I turned on the safety on my guns and clipped them to my belt. "Let's just hope they aren't dead by now. They're the strongest people in the war, to my knowledge. Unless there are some crazy awesome Black Alpha Chimerae that I haven't heard about."

They are not dead. Broadsword seemed amused again. I cannot discern their whereabouts, however.

"Well...as long as they're all right, GP stands a chance."

Pterror cawed repeatedly. Broadsword turned to him and listened.

Pterror says that he may be able to find this Alex Waters person, Broadsword said. During his reconnaissance trip, he did see several advanced Chimerae. He was not sure of their allegiance, but that he could keep an eye on them, and see if they're on their side.

"Hm. That's a good plan...go for it, Pterror."

Pterror cawed, then flew out the window. I just hoped he would return....

Terra watch the other two men shoot their guns at targets. She sighed and wished her aim was half as good as them. Then she remembered that she still had Eric's gun.

She decided to walk up to Eric and tapped his shoulder. She held out the gun to him. "Here. The receptionist gave me a different gun so I don't need this."

Terra placed the Desert Eagle aside and took out her Tesla. She aimed at the target and shot out lightning, hitting the target and leaving a burn mark.

She turned back to Eric. "This might only stun people, but it's better for me than a normal gun. After all, I can just finish them with a knife and a stunned person won't fire at you in a gunfight."

She put the Tesla back in her holster.

Arguably, what I was doing right now would probably be labeled as truly clinically insane. However, it was really the first time when heading off to a fight would actually be arguably... fun. Theresa had actually designed and created a candied Wakizashi with a cinnamon flavor and a fiery crimson color. The flames were incredibly well designed, and I had to say, Theresa sure had a thing for art, although she didn't look too thrilled to be a wolf in rabbit's clothing at first, but she seemed to accept it. Meanwhile, Janine was simply ecstatic about what we were doing. She was like a twelve year old girl having the best birthday party ever.

After heading back to Pyrite Town in our modified ice cream truck of warfare, we got to work making a mess of the UN. The place was still a savage warzone, but I could tell we were going to attract attention. And I saw the UN had brought in more reinforcements, seemingly hellbent on trying to take Pyrite Town from Black Alpha. I had to rip out the front seat to be able to drive this thing, but after that, driving it was fine.

An AH-1Z Viper helicopter had targeted us, and really didn't think we had much in the ways of counter measures when suddenly Janine catapulted a load of open paint cans at the cockpit, which smothered their windows with colorful, pastel-colored paint. And suddenly they were completely blind and flew gracefully into a shanty apartment building, blowing up in a nice, brilliant fireball for all of the UN to see.

"Booyah, never saw that one comin', did ya!?" Janine laughed, cheering at the flaming wreckage. "You should have been at home watching Saturday morning cartoons instead!"

The UN's soldiers didn't even recognize the ice cream truck as a threat until we started attacking them. Several of their soldiers looked confused when we were throwing colorful Easter eggs at them when they suddenly realized they were exploding. And then we drove up alongside an unsuspecting vacuum tank, launched a flurry of C4-stuffed Pokémon dolls, much to the confusion of the nearby UN soldiers. That was, until, I pressed the detonator and the whole thing turned into an inferno.

Their infantry tried shooting at us, but the ice cream truck had been fitted with so much metallic armor that they might as well have been trying to shoot a mountain apart. Meanwhile, Janine even had the ice cream truck playing music while wrecking havoc. It was clear, the UN probably didn't take any of this seriously until quite a bit of damage had been done. Another AH-1Z Viper tried to target us, only to get a giant wad of sticky bubble gum launched by Janine slapped onto its spinning rotors. Unable to control itself, the helicopter's rotor blades slowed down and jammed, and seconds later, it crashed and exploded graciously.

Driving toward a few squads of infantry, Janine manned the pink Lopunny 50cal machine gun, blasting at the UN squads with candy-coated while I intentionally tried to run them over. And when we got close, Janine tossed the UN soldiers a few Jawbreaker Bombs, brightly colored candy spheres that the soldiers couldn't understand until they exploded and peppered them with sharp, candied fragmentation.

The UN was truly going to loathe us. And all so much the better.

Who could have guessed combat and violence could be so colorful, cute, and fun!?

As Alex drove, I laughed as he slammed right into a rather stiff-looking UN soldier, who flopped around like a rag doll kicked by a Machamp. Meanwhile, I let out Jubilee the Lopunny with hyperactive and crazy attitude, just perfect for this occasion.

"Here, Jubilee," I told her, wearing a bright smile as I handed her a whole bag of Theresa's fun and crazy Jawbreaker Bombs. "Just launch a few of them at those silly UN soldiers and have a good time!"

Meanwhile, I whipped out a candy-colored SA-18 IGLA, and decided to give those jets a good run for their money. I locked onto one of them, and fired, watching the heat-seeking missile track down one of the jets before blowing up one of his wings off. The pilot managed to eject himself out of the flaming plane just in time, but it was still a lot of money down the drain spent on very expensive fireworks.

As funny as the vacuum tanks were, the ice cream truck was way too heavy for them to even budge, and instead, we just tossed some more explosives at them, knowing they should have came more prepared than that. If they were going to kill Chimeras, really, they should have just got it done earlier. Ah well, wasn't my problem!

“I have a Vaporeon that knows Ice Beam if that helps at all. Just tell him what to do.”

Thanks,” Jacob nodded to both Zack and his Vaporeon. “Actually, Zack, you could be helpful, too. When I tell you to, I need you to burn any wounds that I deem too serious to bleed freely. Don't light me on fire, but put enough effort into it to actually burn the wounds closed. You,” turning my attention to his Vaporeon. “On occasion like now,” pointing to the first wound need to numb the area so it won't hurt as much. This should only take about an hour.

Jacob hadn't notice that Sophie was around until she spoke up, "I'll keep a look out."

“Thanks Sophie. We all appreciate it I'm sure.” She was now very serpentine as it was apparent that she had taken Strauffor's Chimera vial in whatever fight she put herself into. She looked quite messy frankly as she had blood and shreds of flesh all over her. Pyrite Town is doomed at this point. Jacob thought at this point. It wasn't Sophie's presence that caused him to think this. It was based off the quick survey Jacob took in between times of pulling bullets out. Thanks to the help, Jacob was able to quickly rid himself of the few dozen bullets that he had endured.

One bullet in particular was being stubborn (thankfully the last), and Jacob was forced to incise the skin further to get it out; blood began pouring quickly out of it.

“Ah, shoot. Rage hold the skin please. Zack, of all times help cauterize this. Milotic, I may need a quick pulse of your Aqua Ring.”

A sudden assemblage of a old, hate-filled- memory burst inside Jacob's head. It was a memory that consisted of laboratories, being tied to a table, and abducted from one's home. It wasn't from his insticts that caused him to think this. No, it was because of what was riding on the wind. Over the smell of death, blood, burnt flesh, debris, and smoke, another odor penetrated his senses. It assaulted his nose way before the music could be heard; it was the smell of candy, and in all of Jacob's life, there was only one person that would cause such sweetness to fill the air. She also happened to be aiding the person Jacob had been searching for to help him against Black Alpha.

“Dear Darwin, it can't be. Janine is in the midst of all this.” And upon him saying that, screams that were heard over others could be heard a few blocks away, and a merry jingle only an ice-cream truck could provide was heard.

Terra walked over to Toby as Jim walked up to me. So, you used to work with him? Could you tell me about him? I prefer to know just who it is that I'm working with as soon as possible.

"Sure," I said. "We met in Pyrite Town. First thing that happened was that he saved my life. He killed a few Black Alpha grunts giving us trouble. After that, I joined the Kid Army, an organization he used to run with someone named Zack. Soon after I joined, we raided a BA base, and I got Pterror's fossil. Toby is really trustworthy, he's clever, and he works well in a fight. Whatever he sets his mind to do, he does it. All in all, he's just a great guy."

Broadsword looked out the window. How long do you suspect Pterror will be gone? he asked me.

"He has to get to Pyrite, first off," I explained. "He's probably there by now. I bet he's met up with the Chimerae we're searching for by now..."

Pterror flew about fifty feet from the ground below--a reasonable height for a wild Archeops. He was above Pyrite, and observing a huge rabble down below while descending to get a better look. He saw that the main cause of the commotion was what appeared to be...an ice cream truck.

Pterror almost didn't notice as a helicopter was suddenly pelted with cans of paint. It headed straight for him. He shot downwards like a bullet, narrowly dodging the machine--and the huge cloud of fire it left behind. There were gunshots and explosions everywhere down below, and Pterror saw as another helicopter was covered in gum and crashed--this time nowhere near him, fortunately.

The truck was rushing through the city. Pterror saw one of the Chimerae driving--it was the tall black rabbit-looking one. He decided that he needed to follow it, and kept to the skies almost directly above it.

OOC: Neo, just assume Pterror is just following you guys till next Friday in real life. Then I'll do something with that.

Orre, sailing to Unova

The cargo ship begins to depart from the port. Pikababe leans over the railing and looks back at the UN base. It is still buzzing with activity and she wonders if the UN will take control of the entire region of Orre. It was hard to say but the Orre desert is a big place and Black Alpha could be biding their time, waiting for the right chance to strike. Though she did not really consider them all that much better than the UN. Nevermind that for now, Pikababe has her own problems to worry about.

The U.N. uniform that she has may have been helpful for moving around the Orre base and finding transportation but it would be useless in Unova. The second she tried to identify herself anywhere near the detention center, Admiral Moby would be alerted and he would have her head on a silver platter! Even if news did not get to Orre right away, the detention center guards would know that something is wrong as soon as she tried to leave the area with a prisoner. In which case, Jigglypuff and herself would likely meet a very messy and violent end.

Brute force was not going to be an option. Even with the UN's attention focused in Orre, Pikababe bets that they would still leave enough personnel around to guard a holding facility full of chimeras. This was not going to be easy.

Jack Rover

Pyrite Town, Orre, Safe-house

The room erupted in chaos as the Chimera popped out of the ground suddenly. Many of the guys hidden behind boxes or in the shadows fired a few bullets, but stopped as they saw what had just happened. Many of the men in the back room and the closets bursted out doing the same thing following the gunshots. Corporal X was who the Chimera was after, but as he fired a flamethrower down the Chimeras hole, it retreated quickly leaving a chaotic scene behind. "Of all the..." Riley said, "I never thought our safe-house would get compromised from underground...and by someone who's not after us..."

Jack did his best to calm down the confused group as he turned to speak with X again. "You said you're only following orders and that your fight with your friends is just from your orders" he began to say, "Your friends don't know that yet, and your commander isn't going to reassign you if the UN doesn't allow him; getting the UN to do something like that is what Juan's plan is."

The sound of explosons and gunfire from the other parts of the city echoed outside. It sounded as though a building was collpasing on top of everything. "Listen, you need to get back to your units, and I need to get everything out of this safe-house and make sure we were never here before the fighting gets to this part of town, considering that this place isn't secret now considering your Chimera friend finding us," Jack continued, "I'll explain Juan's plan quickly and tell you what we need on your part; we want to put pressure on the UN by exposing some of their less-than-humane actions that they're working hard to cover up. To do this, we need evidence of it; that's where you come in."

Riley directed everyone in the room to start loading all of the boxes and equipment onto the vans in the garage in the back of the house. "I'm sure that you may know about some of the concentration camps the UN is using to hold and execute the 'infected,' they capture; we need you to find evidence that they're doing this and covering it up; photos, documents, recordings, it doesn't matter, we just need proof if we don't want to sound like idiots and criminals," Jack continued, ignoring Riley's directions in the background, "This safe-house is compromised, so we're going to relocate to another location we have; when you get something that can help us, call us on this number and leave a message; if its not you, we'll know considering we've had a tape recorder running in the background," Jack said, throwing another slip of paper to them, "Just so you don't return to your commander empty handed, I won't tell you where Juan is, but I'll tell you something that he may find interesting."

By now, the vans in the garages were being started as everything was being loaded on board. "When you raided the Galactic plasma bunker in Gateon port, there was a hyper-encrypted stream of data being transferred during it," Jack continued, handing the crossbow on the table to Riley to load on the vans, "We weren't able to intercept it or trace it to its destination in time, but we do know this; that data was being sent to Unova. I know well that the UN isn't doing much there, but Unova may be a place of interest to investigate; considering that the cargo ship leaving Gateon during the raid was found abandoned on Unova shores as well. As far as to any other locations they may have, I don't know; we've been listening for any radio communications in Orre other than the UN's, but so far there's been nothing. There may or may not be any more bases in Orre, but we can't know considering that they may be under radio silence......Now, we've spent enough time here; help us or don't help us, we have our methods of getting things done. Just be careful: no one is ever as they appear."

On that note, Jack stepped in the back room with everyone else and climbed into one of the vans in the garage. The doors opened as the vans were mostly loaded and Jack's van was first to leave. As they rolled out of the outskirts and into the desert, Jack got on his cell hpone. "Boss, we met with Commandante's friend; he's a typical government guy, but he was willing to listen," Jack told Boss, "Anyways, the safe-house got discovered and we're evacuating and moving to the Safe-house in Phenac City; I'll fill you in on the details later when I can we get there, but right now we're clearing out of this war zone; half the buildings are already gone and it wasn't going to be much longer till we were caught in the crossfire."

Good, I'll get word to our friend, Boss replied, We'll keep some guys in Pyrite Town to watch over a few things; the UN won't have much time to deal with a couple of guys on the street with whats happening now...hope Phenac City's alright for you.

An hour or so later...

Jack and the rest of the group breathed a sigh of relief as they made it to Phenac city and pulled into the Safe-house's garage. Phenac City had seen better days, but no one would have expected a Black Market safe-house to be in the city during this time. Nevertheless, as Jack stepped out of the van, hisphone rang again. "Rover here," he answered.

Rover, its boss, said Boss's voice, We've gotten reports of Chimeras in Pyrite Town fighting with the UN right now; get some guys and supplies and get back there! This is our chance to test the crossbow and the explosive shipment we got from our supplier in Kanto. Get moving!

Boss hung up quickly before Jack could respond. "Guys, some of you get some stuff together and a fast transport; we're heading back to Pyrite to test our friend's crossbow out on a few Chimera's giving our government friends a problem." Jack called out.

Within fifteen minutes, Jack had four men with him, a few taped together RPG's and Molotovs, and a van disguised as a plumbing truck to get them back to Pyrite Town at double the previous speed.

After the confrontation with Theresa, X sat back down to speak with Jack, who seemed much more rushed than before.

"You said you're only following orders and that your fight with your friends is just from your orders" he began to say, "Your friends don't know that yet, and your commander isn't going to reassign you if the UN doesn't allow him; getting the UN to do something like that is what Juan's plan is."

getting the UN to do something? X thought. this isn't sounding good.

X felt he was being backed into some kind of corner. The UN had sent him here to try and gain their assistance and intel, not to betray the UN!

"I'm sure that you may know about some of the concentration camps the UN is using to hold and execute the 'infected,' they capture; we need you to find evidence that they're doing this and covering it up; photos, documents, recordings, it doesn't matter, we just need proof if we don't want to sound like idiots and criminals," Jack continued, "This safe-house is compromised, so we're going to relocate to another location we have; when you get something that can help us, call us on this number and leave a message; if its not you, we'll know considering we've had a tape recorder running in the background," Jack said, throwing another slip of paper to them, "Just so you don't return to your commander empty handed, I won't tell you where Juan is, but I'll tell you something that he may find interesting."

X almost laughed at this. His voice was under a filtration. Absolutely anyone wearing his helmet would sound the exact same, but he wasn't about to reveal that to Jack Rover - no. Hoenn command would want to use the information to gain some counter-intelligence.

"When you raided the Galactic plasma bunker in Gateon port, there was a hyper-encrypted stream of data being transferred during it," Jack continued, handing the crossbow on the table to one of his comrades, "We weren't able to intercept it or trace it to its destination in time, but we do know this; that data was being sent to Unova. I know well that the UN isn't doing much there, but Unova may be a place of interest to investigate; considering that the cargo ship leaving Gateon during the raid was found abandoned on Unova shores as well. "Jack." X called out as he turned to leave. "Tell Juan that I will be wanting to discuss other matters with him personally. I'm not here to betray the UN, that would be counter-productive at this time."

"However" X continued, speaking much quieter into Jack's ear. "Being a past Chimera does not doom you to a concentration camp."

With that, X and Jack went their separate ways.

Pyrite town

"QuickScope, what's it like on your end?" X asked, curious as to why he hadn't heard a thing from them.

"Nothing unusual." Quickscope responded. "But I was forced to assist some of the UN soldiers battling nearby, so I wasn't able to help you when KaS spotted Theresa."

"That's fine, I didn't want to kill her." X replied, slightly relieved there was an explanation as to why Theresa wasn't dead, while at the same time not involving Bloodshed.

"I noticed Theresa attacking two other soldiers on a nearby roof." KaS jumped in. "They looked like Hoenn Navy Seals, wearing nearly identical uniforms." (sorry, but KaS and QuickScope were on the highest building nearby, so you wouldn't have seen them from the Hotel Roof)

With that conversation over, X, SLAG and Chan headed to the building QuickScope and KaS were in...

When Squadron X was re-united, they checked the opposite balcony to see the commotion of the bombs going off.
The Battle outside was rather... strange. There were quite a few clown-like chimera's assaulting the troops from Below. Just as QuickScope was about to see the commotion, Sniper already up and ready to fire in an instant, X noticed who was attacking.

It was Alex, Theresa and Janine. Again!

"Don't!" X called out on the radio just a fraction too late, as QuickScope fired the bullet, speeding straight towards Janine in the Ice-cream truck of Doom.

Suddenly, there was a loud explosion, as the bullet collided with this strange... Jawbreaker thing - it must have been some kind of Disguised bomb! Regardless, it sure took Janine by surprise when her plan literally "blew up in her face"

"I stopped" QuickScope retorted into the Radio. "Just as you said it, I aimed a little higher, so it wouldn't hit her. Otherwise I would have gone under the Jawbreaker."

If it were any other person in the whole world, X would never have believed them, but he knew QuickScope's abilities. He was the best sniper in the world.

"We've got no time to lose." X commanded. "If we are spotted here, we're going to be caught not trying to decimate the Chimera's, plus it's likely Alex will spot us again. I say we head back to base and report this information to Hoenn Command. Afterwards, We're heading to Unova, just as Jack and soon Command HQ, will have suggested..."

With that, Squadron X headed down to the ground floor, heading for the nearby UN outpost so they could borrow one of their Transports...
