I find it weird because it seems now the Wii's two best games may be ports.I say this primarly because IGN is already praising it as "better than the gamecube" version .On the other hand it has all the fun PS2 gimicks instead of being a direct port of the GC version. Anyone else go anything to say?

After the third port, it kind of gets tiring.

But it'll obviously be the definitive version (unless they screw up the controls somehow), so I'll be getting it.

Luckily, and I mean luckily, I never got round to buying the Gamecube version so this should fit quite nicely on my Wii pile. But, to be honest, I agree with you. The amount of "Wii-makes" around are beginning to get dsisheartening (there's also the Prince of Persia game, after all plus many companies are releasing games that were on the PS2 three years ago) and I'm not entirely I'm enjoying the idea.

It is basically a cheap way for companies to make money from a game without actually having to produce the game themselves as it's already been done. As long as this pattern discontinues once we get into the swing of things, I don't mind. But you'll find that there are far too many games originally on previous platforms.

It shows disrespect to the holy Wii!

A Wii game with bad controls... SAY WHA?!?!

RE4 takes persicion aiming... Something that's bordeline impossible on the Wii (LOLZ T3H SHAKES!!!)... The shooting game on Rayman was fun... but you didn't have to move yourself at the same time, either.

I've also heard that the spining around (As in to turn around) is screwed up aswell.

... It's suposedly not going to have any extra features other than what was on the PS2 version.

It really makes me mad, though... RE4 was a classic on the Gamecube, and now it keeps getting pimped out by Capcom.

When did thet release the PC version?

Also, yes it gets more pimped out each version. Eventually the drivers from the beginning will be escorting Leon in diamond-stutted Lotus.

Oh, I assume it is a straight port of the GC version considering Ubisoft is doing it.

Suddenly FPS on the Wii isn´t looking like such a great idea.

But I already got it on the PS2, and that´s enough for me. Other games take priority before once again guiding Leon through the frustrating quest to cure his crabs.

it's not an FPS.




but i will not be picking this up. it'd be interesting to play, but not enough to repurchase.
the extra content and control style just aren't nearly enough for me to pick it up again.

i am, however, extremely excited about Umbrella Chronicles. especially the gameplay.
i think that will work a lot better imo.
