Order through the game

By this i mean which way do you go around first or is it different everytime, and which order do you collect the badges?

Gym badges:
Brock
Misty
Lt. Surge
Erika
Koga
Sabrina
Blaine
Giovanni

(just as the game pictures are)

I go the usual way, going from lavender town to Celadon where i do everything there then go back to the tower in lavender after the gym with the scope. Then down cycling road to Fuchsia, then round back up the pier to Saffron then down to Fuchsia again to got to Seafoam etc...

#1 Pewter since you don't have any choice.
#2 Cerulean, but I usually leave it until I've looped back from the SS Anne
#3 Celadon
#4 Fuschia
#5 Saffron
#6 Cinnibar
#7 Vermilion. I don't use Fly, I only use Cut to get to Rock Tunnel, so I've almost always forgotten about Surge and left him for last
#8 Viridian, because again, you don't have any choice.

Fuchsia before Sabrina for the experience on the water routes and cycling road mainly...
