Imagine riding your pokemon as a surfboard, or using them at a shooting range....It would never work, and the time has gone and past. If you are that desprate for Orange islands, you always have the Servite Islands from LG/FR.

The Orange Islands were just used as a filler for the anime while they were waiting for Gold and Silver to come out. It was also an opportunity to show off some Johto Pokemon.

Anyway, I don't like the idea of only four gyms and having to surf around the whole time.

Right how ever since the Orange island's where made for filler and It's past way long ago then..The game woulden't be the best idea since most of the
fan's would prefer the original style thus(there is a fangame made one but realy realy hard to find)

The Orange Islands was just an idea the anime had to delay the show since Gold and Silver were not released yet, just like the Battle Frontier is delaying the D/P series to wait for the D/P games to come out first.

Orange Islands were an animé filler until Gold & Silver came out and Ash could go to Johto.

Yeah, they were. Although I would like a game like that, the chance is very slim, like someone said before, if they wanted to make one, it would have been made. So yeah enjoy the Sevi Islands, because thats probably as much of the Orange Islands as you will get.
