It's nice to see Korrina and Lucario working together rather than it going off on its own tangent. This episode definitely had potential early on with the dancing scene, but the rest went downhill after nightfall. :x

Whew, finally we saw Ash's group arrive in Shalour city. Clemont's invention to help Ash dance was so funny and the Tower of Mastery looked exactly the same as in the games hee hee. O and I liked when the sea split.

I kind of winced when Satoshi was showing off his own variation of Tierno's dancing battle style, although I give him props for thinking of a new way of countering Corni's Mega Lucario. And it was nice to see the Master Tower, as well as Concombre again, but he should've helped when the Rocket-dan stole the scroll.

I felt like we hadn't seen a fun Clemont invention in a while, so I was actually glad to see this one. But seriously, why the hell does Clemont think using his machines on max power is a good thing?

In hindsight, the fact that Lucario got more focus here seemed excessive, because he and Corni had already gotten such a huge chunk of screen-time during their mini-arc.
